Comments: A free way to bring him out is nice, especially since it only requires you to draw it any way you can and he'll overpower pretty much any DARK monster he faces. Too bad the other effect doesn't work on any Dark Magician monster.

Comments: In an all-Spellcaster-Type monster Deck, she'll actually be pretty useful because she'll set up your Graveyard for her other effect and let you draw an extra card each turn.

Comments: She can save herself from attacks but that requires you to have a Spellcaster in your hand you can Summon with her effect. The other effect isn't that good either.

Comments: Its ATK and damage inflicted will depend on the strongest monster you destroy but regardless, you'll be down half your LP each turn and this guy's DEF is static.

Comments: All that ATK is going to be useless much of the time unless used in Infernities, which benefit from having no cards in the hand, though you probably won't draw many cards with the other effect.

You can only use this effect of "Clear Kuriboh" once per turn.

Comments: Not many choices for countering the first effect but the 2nd effect isn't too bad, even if it is a 1-in-3 chance.

You can only Special Summon "Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon" once per turn this way. This card's name becomes "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" while it is on the field or in the Graveyard. Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy it. This card cannot attack the turn this effect is activated.

Comments: It's pretty easy to Summon, especially since Blue-Eyes can easily be added to your hand with The White Stone of Legend and other cards. Of course, it also counts as BEWD while on the field or in the Gravyeard so anything that mentions the original will count with this guy. Destroying an opponent's monster with its effect won't do you much good though as it cannot attack the turn you activate the effect.

Comments: So far, we only have Crimson Nova Trinity to work with so I'll give this the benefit of the doubt, though you still have other ways to Fusion Summon it.

If you control a "Cubic" monster: Activate this card by targeting any number of monsters that are in your opponent's Graveyard because they were destroyed and sent there this turn; Special Summon them to your opponent's field, but each becomes ATK 0 and has 1 Cubic Counter placed on it. (Monsters with a Cubic Counter cannot attack, also negate their effects.) While your opponent controls any of the monsters Summoned by this effect, negate any monster effects your opponent activates. When the last of these monsters leaves the field, destroy this card.

Comments: All this does is give your opponent more options and since Cubic Monsters only retain ATK via their effects, it won't take much to knock them down, especially since their ATKs only go up so high.

(Monsters with a Cubic Counter cannot attack, also negate their effects.) Also, after that, if any Cubic Counters were placed by this effect, Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Cubic" monster from your hand, ignoring its Summoning conditions.

Comments: So this is how they intend to have you get Cubics out. Well it's a pitiful way to do it because while you get 1 monster, your opponent gets up to 3 and only when your opponent declares an attack. Plus, your new monster won't be Summoned by its effect and thus won't gain any ATK, unless it's Geira Guile, which is just as poor an option.

You can banish this card and any number of "Cubic" monsters from your Graveyard, then target face-up monsters your opponent controls equal to the number of those banished "Cubic" monsters; place 1 Cubic Counter on each of them. (Monsters with a Cubic Counter cannot attack, also negate their effects.)

Comments: Much like Cubic Karma, the strongest Cubic monsters are really the only worthwhile targets, especially since the others all only have their ATKs while they have their effects and take more effort to get out.

During your opponent's turn, if "Vijam the Cubic Seed" is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Cubic" monster: Send this card to the Graveyard, and if you do, halve your opponent's LP. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Cubic" monster from your Deck to your hand.

Comments: Crimson Nova and Crimson Nova Trinity are really the only viable targets with this since you can't select Cubic Seed and those two are the strongest of the bunch.

If you take effect damage: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the damage you took.

Comments: There's enough benefits here that getting those three boss monsters together for this guy is worthwhile, especially since your opponent's LP are halved whenever it attacks and they'll take effect damage when you do.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by revealing 3 other "Cubic" cards in your hand with different names, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Unaffected by other monsters' activated effects, whose original ATK is 3000 or less. When this attacking card destroys a monster by battle: You can activate this effect; this card can make a second attack during this Battle Phase. During your End Phase: Each player takes 3000 damage. You can only use this effect of "Crimson Nova the Dark Cubic Lord" once per turn.

Comments: I'd rate it higher but once it's out, both players are hit for major damage at every End Phase it stays out, leaving you to only play it when your LP are higher and that's not always going to work out.
