DB2-EN140
Warrior Dai Grepher
EARTH / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 1700 / DEF 1600
The warrior who can manipulate dragons. Nobody knows his mysterious past.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Stick to Dark Blade as at least he's playable.
DB2-EN139
Ryu Senshi
EARTH / Warrior-Type Fusion / Level 6 / ATK 2000 / DEF 1200
"Warrior Dai Grepher" + "Spirit Ryu"
A Fusion Summon of this monster can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, negate the effect of a Normal Trap Card by paying 1000 Life Points. Negate the effect of a Spell Card that targets this card and destroy it.
RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Dark Balter's partner in unplayability. It is highly recommended that you not use this card or his partner.
DB2-EN138
Marauding Captain
EARTH / Warrior / Level 3 / ATK 1200 / DEF 400
As long as this monster remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot select another Warrior-Type monster on your side of the field as an attack target. When this monster is Normal Summoned successfully, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: His stats are quite low and most Monsters out there aren't worth using with this card except maybe Command Knight.
DB2-EN0137
Freed the Matchless General
EARTH / Warrior / Level 5 / ATK 2300 / DEF 1700
Negate the effect of any Spell Card that targets this card and destroy it. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, you can add 1 Level 4 or lower Warrior-Type monster from your Deck to your hand per turn instead of drawing 1 card from your Deck during your Draw Phase. Then shuffle your Deck.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: I know a card that can match him and is even better to use! Its name is Reinforcement of the Army so use that instead.
DB2-EN136
Double Snare
Normal Spell
Destroy 1 face-up card on the field that has the effect that negates Trap Cards' effects.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: While you can use this on Jinzo or Royal Decree, there aren't many uses for this card beyond that.
DB2-EN135
Soul Demolition
Continuous Trap
You can only activate this card's effect when you have a Fiend-Type monster on your side of the field. Pay 500 Life Points to use this effect. Both players select 1 Monster Card from their opponent's Graveyard. Remove the selected cards from play.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Since each opponent chooses a Monster to remove, this card is beyond horrible as your opponent will try to choose your best Monster or a Monster that's powerful but hard to summon.
DB2-EN134
The Puppet Magic of Dark Ruler
Normal Spell
Select 1 Fiend-Type monster from your Graveyard. Remove from play monsters on your side of the field whose total Levels exactly equal the Level of the selected Fiend-Type monster. Then Special Summon the selected monster from your Graveyard.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: All you get for sending the monsters in your Grave out of play is one Fiend-Type monster so why waste all that time and effort and use Call of the Haunted since Monster Reborn is still banned?
DB2-EN133
Fatal Abacus
Continuous Trap
Each time 1 monster is sent from the field to the Graveyard, inflict 500 points of damage per card to the respective card owner's Life Points.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: The only thing more fatal than the abacus is you playing this card so don't use it.
DB2-EN132
Bark of Dark Ruler
Normal Trap
You can only activate this card during the Damage Step of a Battle Phase if a Fiend-Type monster on your side of the field battles. Pay Life Points (in multiples of 100 points) to decrease 1 of your opponent's monster's ATK and DEF by the same amount of points until End Phase of that turn.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Stop the attack instead with Mirror Force or another decent card.
DB2-EN131
Opticlops
DARK / Fiend / Level 4 / ATK 1800 / DEF 1700
A one-eyed giant that serves the "Dark Ruler Ha Des", it skewers its enemies with its sharp horn, shattering them to pieces.
COMMON
Rating: 3
Comments: Decent stats make for decent Monsters!
DB2-EN130
Twin-Headed Wolf
DARK / Fiend / Level 4 / ATK 1500 / DEF 1000
When there is another face-up Fiend-Type monster on your side of the field, negate the effect of Flip Effect Monsters destroyed by this card as a result of battle.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Use Dark Ruler Ha Des instead as it has better stats.
DB2-EN0129
Skull Knight #2
DARK / Fiend / Level 3 / ATK 1000 / DEF 1200
If you Tribute Summon a Fiend-Type monster by Tributing this monster, Special Summon 1 "Skull Knight #2" from your Deck. Then shuffle your Deck.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Since no one is going to even run this guy, don't even bother.
DB2-EN128
Winged Minion
DARK / Fiend / Level 2 / ATK 700 / DEF 700
Tribute this face-up card. Select 1 face-up Fiend-Type monster on the field. Increase the ATK and DEF of the monster by 700 points as long as it remains face-up on the field.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: There is a card that can give any Monster 1000 ATK without having to tribute itself and it's called Axe of Despair so use that instead.
DB2-EN127
Possessed Dark Soul
DARK / Fiend / Level 3 / ATK 1200 / DEF 800
Tribute this face-up card. Take control of all face-up Level 3 or lower monsters on your opponent's side of the field until they are removed from the field.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: With his stats, using his effect is all you'll want to do with him as it'll hopefully save your lifepoints from big damage.
DB2-EN126
Lesser Fiend
DARK / Fiend / Level 5 / ATK 2100 / DEF 1000
As long as this monster remains face-up on the field, monsters destroyed by this monster as a result of battle are removed from play instead of being sent to the Graveyard.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Removal decks are bad enough without this guy, he'll only make them worse.
DB2-EN125
Dark Balter the Terrible
DARK / Fiend-Type Fusion / Level 5 / ATK 2000 / DEF 1200
"Possessed Dark Soul" + "Frontier Wiseman"
A Fusion Summon of this monster can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters. When a Normal Spell Card is activated, negate the effect by paying 1000 Life Points. The effect of an Effect Monster that this monster destroys as a result of battle is negated.
RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Dark Balter is terrible so don't run him.
DB2-EN124
Dark Ruler Ha Des
DARK / Fiend / Level 6 / ATK 2450 / DEF 1600
As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the effects of Effect Monsters destroyed as a result of battle by Fiend-Type monsters on your side of the field are negated. This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 4
Comments: Not only does he start out with 2450 ATK and can mow down any of the Monarchs or Jinzo, but he helps your other Fiend-Type Monsters out by letting them negate the effects of Effect Monsters they destroy!
DB2-EN123
Insect Queen
EARTH / Insect / Level 7 / ATK 2200 / DEF 2400
You cannot declare an attack with this card without Tributing 1 monster on your side of the field. Increase the ATK of this card by 200 points for each face-up Insect-Type monster on the field. Special Summon 1 "Insect Monster Token" (Insect-Type/EARTH/1 Star/ATK 100/DEF 100) in Attack Position on your side of the field during the End Phase of each turn that this card destroys your opponent's monster.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Even with 2400 ATK, she's still a bad Monster. She "lays" eggs, which are extremely vulnerable to virtually any Monster and her ATK is quite low for needing two tributes.
DB2-EN122
Toon Defense
Continuous Trap
When your opponent's monster attacks a face-up Level 4 or lower Toon Monster on your side of the field, you can make the attack a direct attack to your Life Points.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: First of all, it only saves Level 4 or lower Toon Monsters and second, I'd rather lose a Monster than a large chunk of my lifepoints.
DB2-EN121
Toon Table of Contents (original artwork)
Normal Spell
Add 1 card from your Deck to your hand that includes "Toon" in its card name, or is named "Manga Ryu-Ran".
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: If you're running a Toon deck, be sure to have a couple of these in there as they can bring out the better cards from the deck.
