Lizzie Borden's House

The Lizzie Borden House is infamous for its murders and accompanying nursery rhyme, which is mostly true but somewhat innaccurate as it claims her father took 41 hits from an axe. In actuality, he took only 12. The murders took place in Flal River, Massachusetts August of 1892 during a heat wave and as the nursery rhyme states, some murder, be it Lizzie Borden or someone else, took an axe and killed Abby and Andrew Borden, the parents of the family. Lizzie was the only one in the house at the time of the murder as the other sister Emma was out of town and the maid was resting on the 3rd floor.
