Hunedoara Castle

Likely better known as "Dracula's Castle", Hunedoara Castle is the site of brutal murders at the hands of Dracula, or better known as "Vlad the Impaler" as a result the way he killed others (stakes in the ground). The castle is located in Hunedoara, Romania, hence its name. It was the main fortress of Transylvania until the 14th century where lancu de Hunedora made it his home. Once lancu moved in, he transformed the castle into what it is today. The castle currently is mostly a museum but can host private events.
