You can choose 1 Dragon-Type monster you have in play and have it receive ATK and DEF equal to the total Link Rating of Link Monsters on the in play x 100, until the end of the opponent's turn. You may only use this effect of "Guardragon Shield" once per turn. Once per turn, if exactly 1 Dragon-Type monster you have in play would be defeated through battle or be destroyed by a card effect, you choose 1 Normal Monster in your hand or Deck and send it to the Graveyard instead.
