Ridiculed Yu-Gi-Oh Cards (Page 6)

Cards below have been recreated with humorous names and card text to reflect my actual views on them.
LOB-022
Broken Winged Cat
EARTH / Beast-Type Fusion / Level 3 / ATK 900 / DEF 700
"Flying Gumball" + "Merlin's Worst Magical Sheep"
RARE

Comments: In a set that only guarantees you a Rare much of the time, this is not what you want to get as a result of paying $4-5 on a pack or two.
LOB-021
The Flying Unlucky Mirror
LIGHT / Winged Beast / Level 4 / ATK 1100 / DEF 1400
A bird attached to a mirror that has proven unlucky many times over. The bird is reluctant to give it up because of its ironic belief that it will bring good luck one day.
COMMON

Comments: When you can barely outlast the likes of The 13th Grave and only in Defense Mode, you're not really a worthy monster.
LOB-020
Dead King that was Abyssmal
DARK / Fiend / Level 3 / ATK 1200 / DEF 800
A relative of the 13th Dead Traveler, he made a similar mistake and now can't warn anyone he invited to the same location.
COMMON

Comments: The third monster with identical ATK and DEF so it's only natural that his story be linked to one of them.
LOB-019
Flamebroiled Dragon
DARK / Dragon-Type Fusion / Level 4 / ATK 1500 / DEF 1250
"Extra Crispy Crabgrass" + "Fish Bait Dragon"
RARE

Comments: So far, we're 20 cards in and this is one of the few monsters to surpass Mammoth Graveyard and Silver Fang. Says a lot right there.
LOB-018
Extra Crispy Crabgrass
EARTH / Plant / Level 2 / ATK 700 / DEF 600
It may look dangerous but its overall soil content has proven to be bad for its own health.
COMMON

Comments: Being in a volcano hasn't done it any good since it's weaker than most monsters in the set.
LOB-017
Defenseless Egg
EARTH / Warrior / Level 3 / ATK 600 / DEF 900
An egg frightened of what its future might be. It fears of being eaten for breakfast.
COMMON

Comments: Unlike Flame Manipulator, this guy is Fusion Material for a monster that is actually less than double its own ATK.
LOB-016
Flame Casualty
FIRE / Spellcaster / Level 3 / ATK 900 / DEF 1000
He likes to play with fire but his skills don't have what it takes to wield even a basic flame and he often sets himself ablaze.
COMMON

Comments: It's weak and paves way for a monster with only twice its own ATK.
LOB-015
Overcooked Knght of Failure
FIRE / Pyro-Type Fusion / Level 3 / ATK 1100 / DEF 800
"Defenseless Egg" + "The Flame that Burned Out"
RARE

Comments: When your Extra Deck vanilla monster is weaker than a Main Deck Normal Monster, you know it's not worth it.
LOB-014
The 13th Dead Traveler
DARK / Zombie / Level 3 / ATK 1200 / DEF 900
He wandered aimlessly for years looking for something he knew full well was never coming. Now he stands poised in his walking position until the wind blows him away.
COMMON

Comments: The fact that Duke Devlin used this card in his Duels proved how unskilled he was. Heck. Joey nearly beat him as a rookie and that was only because of luck both in the packs chosen and the draw.
LOB-013
The Thumb Sucker that Can't Swim
DARK / Spellcaster / Level 3 / ATK 800 / DEF 700
She sucks her thumb because she's unable to actually grow up. She'll never make it to the surface on her own.
COMMON

Comments: Unfortunatly, cards like this were all any Duelist had at the start because we literally had nothing better.
LOB-012
Coffin of the Doomed
DARK / Fiend / Level 4 / ATK 1300 / DEF 900
A coffin that offers no protection from attacks. Even those that have died suddenly refuse to rest in it.
COMMON

Comments: Let's face it, it's probably made out of wood. Not exactly an ideal hiding or resting place.
LOB-011
Roast Ram
EARTH / Beast / Level 3 / ATK 800 / DEF 900
Blink and you miss it. This animal's life was taken so quickly very few were able to see it.
COMMON

Comments: Whatever you want to call it, it's a dead animal in Yu-Gi-Oh.
LOB-010
Cowardly Wolf
EARTH / Beast / Level 3 / ATK 1200 / DEF 800
It's a carbon copy of the Museum Jailbreaker. It's how that monster used to look before it was easily roadkill.
COMMON

Comments: When you get right down to look at the two cards, they're very much alike and it makes you wonder why both had to exist.
LOB-009
Museum Jailbreaker
EARTH / Dinosaur / Level 3 / ATK 1200 / DEF 800
A bony dinosaur from a museum that was clearly uncared for by its owners.
COMMON

Comments: A graveyard that was likely filled with monsters like this back in the day.
LOB-008
Insignificant Insect
EARTH / Insect / Level 2 / ATK 500 / DEF 700
Its weak flying ability makes it very vulnerable to even swats from a fly swatter or hand.
COMMON

Comments: So basic that no one uses it and probably barely used it back in the day.
LOB-005
One-Trick Magician (original artwork)
DARK / Spellcaster / Level 7 / ATK 2500 / DEF 2100
He claims to be a master magician but doesn't fool anyone with even half a brain.
ULTRA RARE

Comments: Basically the card even to this day has very few uses. I'd argue only one, hide in a Deck specifically made for it because it can't do anything else useful.
LOB-004
Thick-Headed Servant
DARK / Zombie / Level 1 / ATK 300 / DEF 200
His thick skull is no accident. He thought it would actually make him smarter but instead it has only made things worse.
COMMON

Comments: Even today, I still don't see this guy as a formidable threat despite having a family of like 20.
LOB-003
Luke Warm Amateur (original artwork)
FIRE / Warrior-Type Fusion / Level 5 / ATK 1800 / DEF 1600
"Flame Casualty" + "Major Sucky, the Lackluster Swordsman"
SUPER RARE

Comments: The first ever TCG Fusion and it was harder to get than regular Normal Monsters of the time. That shows how bad this is.
LOB-002
His-Not-So-Scary Giant
EARTH / Beast-Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 1200 / DEF 1000
This cyclopse lost an eye because of what little brains it had.
COMMON

Comments: Let's face it, it was only marginally playable back in the day.
LOB-000
Bent-Horned Wimp
DARK / Dragon / Level 8 / ATK 2850 / DEF 2350
He's tried so hard to become more playable but all attempts have met with failure.
SECRET RARE

Comments: Back when cards like this were feared and the ways around it were pretty hard to get as well, this guy would probably have not been my ideal choice to use, especially when Blue-Eyes was available as a Tin shortly after.
