PRIO-EN079
And the Band Played On
Continuous Trap
Neither player can Special Summon monsters with the same Level as those they control. Neither player can Special Summon monsters with the same Rank as those they control.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It prevents either player from Xyz Summoning in the very least and for most decks, that'll be a pretty big hit but anything you Normal Summon is fair game.
PRIO-EN078
Xyz Universe
Normal Trap
Target 2 face-up Xyz Monsters on the field; send both monsters to the Graveyard, then Special Summon 1 Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck, except a "Number" monster, whose Rank is equal to, or 1 less than, the combined original Ranks of those 2 Xyz Monsters, and if you do, attach this card to it as an Xyz Material. If you activated this card, your opponent takes no further damage this turn.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It doesn't have to be on a specific side of the field and you get a new Xyz Monster out of the deal but that monster cannot come back later and your opponent can't take any further damage.
PRIO-EN077
Evo-Singularity
Normal Trap
Target 1 "Evoltile" monster and 1 "Evolsaur" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Evolzar" Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck, and if you do, attach those monsters to it as Xyz Materials.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Bring out any of the three Evolzar Xyz Monsters but none of them are really any good and aren't treated as being Xyz Summoned so when they go, you can't bring them back.
PRIO-EN076
The Monarchs Erupt
Continuous Trap
Activate this card only if you have no cards in your Extra Deck and control a Tribute Summoned monster. Negate the effects of all face-up monsters on the field, except Tribute Summoned monsters. During your End Phase, if you control no Tribute Summoned monsters, send this card to the Graveyard.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It helps preserve your effort to Tribute Summon but you not only need nothing in your Extra Deck but if you lose the Tribute Summoned monster by the End Phase, you also lose this card.
PRIO-EN075
Bujincident
Normal Trap
Target 1 "Bujin" Xyz Monster you control; banish it, and if you do, return all monsters on the field to the hand. Until your 2nd End Phase after activation, neither player can Summon monsters nor take damage (but can Normal Set). During your 2nd End Phase after activation: Target 1 "Bujin" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon the monster banished by this effect, and if you do, attach that target to it as an Xyz Material.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: For the price of losing your Xyz Monster, everything goes back to the hand and both players are safe from harm for 2 turns. While you do get the banished monster back, it's Xyz Material must be a Bujin monster.
PRIO-EN074
Ghostrick Night
Continuous Trap
While a "Ghostrick" monster is on the field, your opponent cannot Flip Summon. When this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card and sent to the Graveyard: Your opponent cannot declare attacks for the rest of this turn.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It needs a Ghostrick monster but while you have one, it'll be tough for your opponent to do much, even after they get rid of it.
PRIO-EN073
Sylvan Waterslide
Continuous Trap
Each time an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is a Plant-Type monster, send it to the Graveyard. Otherwise, place it on the bottom of your Deck. During your Draw Phase, instead of conducting your normal draw: Excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is a Plant-Type monster, send it to the Graveyard. Otherwise, add it to your hand.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It won't necessarily stop the direct attack but you do get two chances to excavate a Plant-Type monster.
PRIO-EN072
Artifact Sanctum
Normal Trap
Special Summon 1 "Artifact" monster from your Deck. You can only activate 1 "Artifact Sanctum" per turn. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this card. If this card in its owner's possession is destroyed by an opponent's card: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy that target.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: Although seemingly restricted to an Artifact Deck, since Artifacts are LIGHT Fairy-Type monsters, one can also mix Artifacts with either LIGHT or LIGHT Fairy-Type monster Decks and since it's a Trap Card, you can use it during your opponent's turn to still receive your own Battle Phase next turn!
PRIO-EN071
Last Counter
Counter Trap
When an attack is declared involving a "Battlin' Boxer" monster you control and an opponent's monster: Negate the attack, and if you do, send that monster you control to the Graveyard, then 1 "Battlin' Boxer" monster you control (in Attack Position, if you declared the attack) gains ATK equal to the original ATK of that opponent's monster, also proceed to damage calculation using those monsters. Then, you take damage equal to the amount of ATK gained from this effect.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Sure your Battlin' Boxer gets stronger but only during that battle and anything gained is taken out of your Life Points and you lose a monster.
PRIO-EN070
Tachyon Chaos Hole
Normal Trap
When a face-up "Galaxy" Xyz Monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle with an opponent's attacking monster, or by an opponent's card effect, and sent to your Graveyard: Destroy as many face-up cards your opponent controls as possible, and if you do, banish them. During your Draw Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard, instead of conducting your normal draw: You can banish this card, then target 1 "Galaxy" Xyz Monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: None of the Galaxy-Eyes Xyz Monsters are really all that good IMO so this card really isn't worth it, especially since most of the time, you probably won't lose more than 1 Xyz Monster.
PRIO-EN069
Double Dragon Descent
Normal Trap
When an opponent's Xyz Monster declares a direct attack: Special Summon 1 LIGHT Dragon-Type Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck in face-up Attack Position, then the attacking monster attacks it instead, and you proceed to damage calculation. Its ATK becomes equal to the attacking monster's ATK, also its effects are negated. You can only activate 1 "Double Dragon Descent" per turn.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: You get a free LIGHT Dragon-Type Xyz out of the deal but it doesn't get its effects and is essentially suiciding with the opponent's monster.
PRIO-EN068
Jackpot 7
Normal Spell
When this card is activated: Shuffle this card from the field into the Deck. When this card in your possession is sent to the Graveyard by an opponent's card effect: Banish this card. If 3 of your "Jackpot 7" are currently banished, and were all banished by this effect, you win the Duel.
SHORT PRINT COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Perhaps the easiest instant win card to pull off as it only works off of your opponent destroying it and you banishing it from your Graveyard but until that happens, it won't really help you.
PRIO-EN067
Forbidden Scripture
Quick-Play Spell
If a monster battles an opponent's monster, during damage calculation: Negate all other card effects on the field until the end of the Damage Step, also damage calculation for this battle uses each monster's original ATK and DEF.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: Unlike the previous Forbidden Spell Cards, this one does much more in that both monsters battle with their original ATKs and without any help from other effects and it is a Quick-Play Spell like those cards!
PRIO-EN066
Scrap Factory
Field Spell
All "Scrap" monsters gain 200 ATK and DEF. When a face-up "Scrap" monster(s) on the field is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon 1 "Scrap" monster from your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Scrap Factory" once per turn.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Self-destruction is the specialty of Scraps so they'll get a replacement but only once per turn.
PRIO-EN065
Diamond Core of Koa'ki Meiru
Normal Spell
Add 1 "Koa'ki Meiru" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Diamond Core of Koa'ki Meiru". You can banish this card from your Graveyard; for the rest of this turn, "Koa'ki Meiru" monsters you control cannot be destroyed.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Pick up any Koa'ki Meiru card except another copy of this (not that it would've helped) and then use its other effect to protect your Koa'ki Meirus from destruction but it won't help them during the End Phase.
PRIO-EN064
Bujintervention
Normal Spell
Target 1 "Bujin" monster on the field; apply this effect to it for the rest of this turn. Each time it destroys a monster by battle whose current ATK is greater than or equal to the targeted monster's original ATK, and sends it to the Graveyard: Banish the destroyed monster, and if you do, banish all monsters from your opponent's hand, Main Deck, Extra Deck, and Graveyard with the same name that the destroyed monster had in the Graveyard.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Since Bujins have at least 4 Honests they can use, this'll get some use and might hinder your opponent's strategy.
PRIO-EN063
Ghostrick Parade
Field Spell
Monsters cannot attack face-down Defense Position monsters, but can attack directly if all monsters their opponent controls are face-down Defense Position. Your opponent takes no damage. When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can add 1 "Ghostrick" card from your Deck to your hand.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: You'll be taking the full damage from the direct attack and cannot deal any damage to your opponent but you get a new Ghostrick out of the deal when your opponent attacks directly.
PRIO-EN062
Sylvan Charity
Normal Spell
Draw 3 cards, then, if you have a "Sylvan" card in your hand, reveal 2 cards from your hand including at least 1 "Sylvan" card, then place them on the top of the Deck in any order. Otherwise, reveal your entire hand, then place it on the top of the Deck in any order. You can only activate 1 "Sylvan Charity" per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Sylvans have a small chance at benefiting with this card but it's about as risky as the Deck itself.
PRIO-EN061
Artifacts Unleashed
Quick-Play Spell
Target 2 "Artifact" monsters you control; immediately after this effect resolves, Xyz Summon 1 Xyz Monster using those 2 monsters only, but if you activated this card, monsters you control cannot attack for the rest of this turn, except "Artifact" monsters. If this card in its owner's possession is destroyed by an opponent's card: You can reveal 1 Level 5 LIGHT monster in your hand; draw 1 card.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Xyz Summoning in this manner is just poor because unless in a straight-up Artifact Deck, it'll only hinder your progress.
PRIO-EN060
Artifact Ignition
Quick-Play Spell
Target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy that target, and if you do, Set 1 "Artifact" monster directly from your Deck to your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Spell Card. If this card in its owner's possession is destroyed by an opponent's card: Your opponent skips their next Battle Phase. (You must have an "Artifact" monster in your Main Deck to activate this card.)
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: You don't need an Artifact monster in your Main Deck or Extra Deck to use the 2nd effect but you do for the first effect, which isn't that bad but it's sort-of a watered down MST.
