Galactic Overlord (Page 1)

Hieratic Dragon of Gebeb
LIGHT / Dragon / Level 4 / ATK 1800 / DEF 400
When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type Normal Monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and make its ATK and DEF 0. When this card is Tributed: Special Summon 1 "Hieratic" Normal Monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.
Rating: 3
Comments: Works fine on his own as a Normal Monster or of course with its archtype!
Hieratic Dragon of Nuit
LIGHT / Dragon / Level 4 / ATK 1700 / DEF 900
Once per turn, during either player´s turn, when this face-up card on the field is targeted by a Spell Card, Trap Card, or card effect: Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type Normal Monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and make its ATK and DEF 0.
Rating: 2
Comments: It makes for easier high Rank Xyz summoning but that's about it.
LIGHT / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 1400 / DEF 1600
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card attacks a face-up monster on the field whose DEF is higher than this card's ATK: Destroy that monster.
Rating: 2
Comments: With only 1400 ATK, it's going to be pretty easy to find a monster with more DEF than that though it's only when it attacks.
Rocket Arrow Express
EARTH / Machine / Level 10 / ATK 5000 / DEF 0
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by controlling no cards, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you Special Summon this card. You cannot activate cards or effects, or Set any cards. During each of your Standby Phases, destroy this card unless you send all cards in your hand to the Graveyard (min. 1).
Rating: 1
Comments: What is this train wreck of a card? It didn't become SCR but it also didn't need to exist at all! Even with Nitwit Outwit (also in this set), you'll still be hurting yourself with this card should you use it.
Jumbo Drill
EARTH / Machine / Level 4 / ATK 1800 / DEF 100
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can increase the Levels of all Machine-Type monsters you currently control by 1. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step.
Rating: 3
Comments: Being a Machine, he supports Karakuris, especially since he changes to Defense Mode at the end of the Damage Step but it can still be changed afterwards!
Moonlit Papillon
LIGHT / Insect / Level 4 / ATK 1200 / DEF 1600
When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Butterspy" monster from your Deck.
Rating: 2
Comments: It searches out any Level 4 or less Butterspy monster but so far only half are good enough targets.
Swallowtail Butterspy
DARK / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 1800 / DEF 1200
When another monster you control inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; it loses ATK equal to the Battle Damage inflicted.
Rating: 3
Comments: While the effect isn't all that bad, you'll need 2 or more monsters including itself to trigger the effect when you can just leave the opponent's monster with 100 ATK and DEF with Darkworld Shackles.
Morpho Butterspy
DARK / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 1200 / DEF 1600
Once per turn, when the battle position of an opponent's monster(s) is changed (except during the Damage Step): You can target one of those monsters; it loses 1000 ATK and DEF.
Rating: 2
Comments: The stat loss by its effect is permanent but Karakuris get to escape its effect unharmed and so do you.
Phantom Bounzer
DARK / Warrior / Level 6 / ATK 2400 / DEF 1200
If this card on the field is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can add 2 "Bounzer" cards from your Deck to your hand.
Rating: 3
Comments: As a Normal 2400 ATK beatstick, there's no harm to you at all and in its friends' deck, it isn't bad either!
Blade Bounzer
EARTH / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 1800 / DEF 1400
Once per turn, if this card attacks and your opponent controls a monster at the end of the Damage Step: You can discard 1 card; this card can attack an opponent's monster once again during this Battle Phase.
Rating: 3
Comments: He has everything I look for in a decent Monster Card: decent stats, effect and in some cases low level!
Hammer Bounzer
EARTH / Warrior / Level 6 / ATK 2300 / DEF 2000
If your opponent controls a card and you control no cards, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. If this card attacks an opponent’s monster, as long as you control no Spell/Trap Cards, your opponent cannot activate any Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step.
Rating: 2
Comments: You don't have to Tribute Summon him but the risks are just about the same and you need to leave him unprotected just for an effect that's only half as good as most Ancient Gear monsters.
Hammer Shark
WATER / Fish / Level 4 / ATK 1700 / DEF 1500
Once per turn, during your Main Phase: You can decrease this card's Level by 1, and Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower WATER monster from your hand.
Rating: 2
Comments: He isn't as good as Wind-Up Shark but if by chance you don't have that, this isn't a bad substitute.
Overlay Eater
LIGHT / Reptile / Level 2 / ATK 300 / DEF 800
You can banish this card from your Graveyard; take 1 Xyz Material from a monster your opponent controls and attach it to an Xyz Monster you control as Xyz Material.
Rating: 2
Comments: A bit better than Overlay Owl because his effect gives your Xyz Monster an opponent's Xyz Material for free and no risk of him getting taken out in battle to get there.
Cardcar D
EARTH / Machine / Level 2 / ATK 800 / DEF 400
Cannot be Special Summoned. During your Main Phase 1, if this card was Normal Summoned this turn: You can Tribute this card; draw 2 cards, then it becomes the End Phase of this turn. You cannot Special Summon during the turn you activate this effect.
Rating: 2
Comments: The next card getting overhyped and bumped to SCR. All I can give him is 2, one for each card you draw by his effect because he then ruins his and your further fun that turn.
Gagaga Gardna
EARTH / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 1500 / DEF 2000
When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this face-up card is targeted for an attack: You can discard 1 card; this card cannot be destroyed by that battle.
Rating: 2
Comments: You won't need to discard a card all the time to protect him from death in battle using his effect with his 2000 DEF and he can save you direct damage if no Battle Fader is in your hand.
Tasuke Knight
LIGHT / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 1700 / DEF 100
When an opponent's monster declares an attack, while you have no cards in your hand and this card is in your Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard, then end the Battle Phase. Each player can only use the effect of "Tasuke Knight" once per Duel.
Rating: 1
Comments: No credit to monsters that rip-off other monsters' effects, especially badly. Should've been Common or Rare at most.
Overlay Owl
WIND / Winged Beast / Level 4 / ATK 800 / DEF 1600
Once per turn: You can pay 600 Life Points; detach 1 Xyz Material from a monster on the field.
Rating: 1
Comments: Its effect basically cuts most Xyz Monsters' powers in half by forcing them to lose an Xyz Material but it's for the price of 600 Life Points, which may not be points well spent.
Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord
LIGHT / Dragon / Level 8 / ATK 0 / DEF 0
A mysterious engraved Hieratic relic. It was thought to be a simple stone, but it was actually infused with the power of a sun-wielding dragon. Ages passed, and the power of the relic grew and grew until it finally shone like the sun itself.
Rating: 2
Comments: Even though it hints at no playability with its stats, I have to give some credit for making easier Rank 8 Xyz monsters and perhaps this Hieratic Archtype might be good once and if I see it.
LIGHT / Dragon / Level 6 / ATK 2500 / DEF 1000
Capable of indefinite flight. Attacks by wrapping its body with electricity and ramming into opponents.
IMPORTANT: Capturing the "Wattaildragon" is forbidden by the Ancient Rules and is a Level 6 offense, the minimum sentence for which is imprisonment for no less than 2500 heliocycles.
Rating: 4
Comments: Even without Ancient Rules, he's still very much playable in Watt, LIGHT, Beatdown or any mix of the three!

Noble Knight Artorigus
LIGHT / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 1800 / DEF 1800

No one shall ever know the truth behind
That fateful day. Artorigus went forth
To where the brilliant sword didst lay.
'Twas the first of many feats so great,
A legend through and through. We sing of him,
Artorigus, the Noble and the brave.

-From the Tales of the Noble Knights

Rating: 3
Comments: Goofy text aside, you're still looking at a decent monster for your Deck.
