Dragons of Legend 2
DRL2-EN045 | |
Card Type: | Trap Card |
Card Info | Aqua Story - Urashima Normal Trap If you have an "Aquaactress" monster in your Graveyard: Target 1 monster on the field; until the end of this turn, its effects are negated, its ATK and DEF become 100, also it is unaffected by your opponent's card effects. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 1 |
Comments: | This does a tiny bit more than Darkworld Shackles but requires a bit more too and is slower to activate, not to mention its effect only lasts one turn. |
DRL2-EN044 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | Aquarium Lighting Continuous Spell If an "Aquaactress" monster you control battles an opponent's monster, during damage calculation: Your battling monster's ATK and DEF each become double its current ATK and DEF during that damage calculation only. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can target 1 Aqua-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Aqua-Type monsters. You can only control 1 "Aquarium Lighting". SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | The best monster to use this on right now is Arowana, which has 2000 ATK and DEF and would become 4000 ATK and DEF whenever it battled, which is pretty good but it's the only one worth using this on too. |
DRL2-EN043 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | Aquarium Set Continuous Spell All WATER monsters you control gain 300 ATK and DEF. All "Aquaactress" monsters you control gain 300 ATK and DEF. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can target 1 Aqua-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Aqua-Type monsters. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 1 |
Comments: | The lame ATK boosts do nothing to really help as even Umiiruka does a better job and the only other thing it offers is the same 2nd effect as Aquarium Stage. |
DRL2-EN042 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | Aquarium Stage Continuous Spell WATER monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle with a non-WATER monster. "Aquaactress" monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's monster effects. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can target 1 Aqua-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Aqua-Type monsters. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | It prevents non-Aquaactress monsters from being destroyed in battle too and Special Summons any Aqua-Type monster in your Graveyard but you can only Special Summon Aqua-Type monsters that turn. |
DRL2-EN041 | |
Card Type: | Effect Monster |
Card Info | Aquaactress Arowana WATER / Aqua / Level 6 / ATK 2000 / DEF 2000 Once per turn: You can add 1 "Aquaactress" monster from your Deck to your hand. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | So far not much has been released so this doesn't have much to search for but perhaps later on that'll change. |
DRL2-EN040 | |
Card Type: | Effect Monster |
Card Info | Aquaactress Guppy WATER / Aqua / Level 2 / ATK 600 / DEF 600 Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 "Aquaactress" monster from your hand. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | If better Aquaactress monsters are released, this card could become a key component but as it stands, it doesn't have much. |
DRL2-EN039 | |
Card Type: | Effect Monster |
Card Info | Aquaactress Tetra WATER / Aqua / Level 1 / ATK 300 / DEF 300 Once per turn: You can add 1 "Aquarium" card from your Deck to your hand. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | It's pretty weak but you can quickly get an Aquarium Continuous Spell from your Deck. |
DRL2-EN038 | |
Card Type: | Trap Card |
Card Info | Reverse Reuse Normal Trap Target up to 2 Flip monsters in your Graveyard; Special Summon them to your opponent's side of the field, in face-up or face-down Defense Position. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 1 |
Comments: | It's never a good idea to give your opponent monsters without giving yourself something back and this card does not give back. |
DRL2-EN037 | |
Card Type: | Trap Card |
Card Info | Black Cat-astrophe Normal Trap During your opponent's Battle Phase, if you control 2 or more face-down Defense Position monsters: End the Battle Phase. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 2 face-up monsters on the field, including at least 1 "Prediction Princess" monster; change them to face-down Defense Position. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 1 |
Comments: | Neither of this card's effects are worth it because the first is outclassed by both Threatening Roar and Negate Attack and the 2nd has so few options that your odds of having that one good monster are slim to none. |
DRL2-EN036 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | Prediction Ritual Ritual Spell This card is used to Ritual Summon "Prediction Princess Tarotrei". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 9 or more. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Prediction Princess" monster from your Deck to your hand. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | None of the Prediction Princess monsters are all that good except Petalelf and that doesn't really make using this card just to use its 2nd effect to get Petalelf worth it. |
DRL2-EN035 | |
Card Type: | Ritual Monster |
Card Info | Prediction Princess Tarotrei LIGHT / Fairy-Type Ritual / Level 9 / ATK 2700 / DEF 1200 You can Ritual Summon this card with "Prediction Ritual". During your End Phase: You can Special Summon 1 Flip monster from your hand or Graveyard in face-down Defense Position. You can only use 1 of the following effects of "Prediction Princess Tarotrei" per turn, and only once that turn. ● During either player's turn: You can target 1 face-down monster on the field; change it to face-up Attack Position. ● During either player's turn: You can target 1 face-up monster on the field; change it to face-down Defense Position. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | Only a small handful of Flip monsters are any good and since this card is Level 9, you have your work cut out to bring her out and for very little reward. |
DRL2-EN034 | |
Card Type: | Effect Monster |
Card Info | Prediction Princess Crystaldine WATER / Fairy-Type Flip / Level 5 / ATK 1400 / DEF 2200 FLIP: You can add 1 Ritual Monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 1 |
Comments: | Even Senju of the Thousand Hands is more versatile than this because it takes up the same Summon or Set limit you have to get the Ritual Monster from your Deck without Tributing and is an Honest target like Manju. |
DRL2-EN033 | |
Card Type: | Effect Monster |
Card Info | Prediction Princess Arrowsylph WIND / Fairy-Type Flip / Level 4 / ATK 1000 / DEF 1400 FLIP: You can add 1 Ritual Spell Card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | It can only get Ritual Spells but at least can do so from your Deck or Graveyard but has to be Set, unlike Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands, which can grab a Ritual Spell or Ritual Monster and is a LIGHT target with Honest. |
DRL2-EN032 | |
Card Type: | Effect Monster |
Card Info | Prediction Princess Astromorrigan DARK / Fairy-Type Flip / Level 3 / ATK 1300 / DEF 0 FLIP: During the End Phase of this turn, destroy as many Defense Position monsters your opponent controls as possible, and if you do, inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each monster destroyed. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | Works in combination with Petalelf but it waits until the End Phase to do so and that's slow enough that not even the accompanying burn damage is enough to rate this card higher. |
DRL2-EN031 | |
Card Type: | Effect Monster |
Card Info | Prediction Princess Petalelf EARTH / Fairy-Type Flip / Level 3 / ATK 800 / DEF 700 FLIP: You can change all face-up Attack Position monsters your opponent controls to face-up Defense Position. Monsters changed to Defense Position by this effect cannot change their battle position. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 3 |
Comments: | What I like about this card is that not only does it force your opponent's Attack Position monsters into Defense Mode but they cannot change back. |
DRL2-EN030 | |
Card Type: | Effect Monster |
Card Info | Prediction Princess Coinorma EARTH / Fairy-Type Flip / Level 3 / ATK 800 / DEF 1400 FLIP: You can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or higher Flip monster from your hand or Deck in face-down Defense Position, also you cannot activate monster effects for the rest of this turn, except "Prediction Princess" monsters'. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | You could bring out another copy or any Shaddoll monster but you won't be activating their effects this turn unless it's a Prediction Princess effect. |
DRL2-EN029 | |
Card Type: | Trap Card |
Card Info | Toon Briefcase Normal Trap When your opponent Summons a monster(s) while you control a Toon monster: Shuffle that monster(s) into the Deck. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 1 |
Comments: | Negating the Summoning is always better than shuffling it into the Deck because your opponent not only has to retrieve it but then bring it out all over again. This card is just a pitiful stall card. |
DRL2-EN028 | |
Card Type: | Trap Card |
Card Info | Toon Mask Normal Trap If you control "Toon World": Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; Special Summon 1 Toon monster from your hand or Deck, whose Level is less than or equal to the Level/Rank of that monster, ignoring its Summoning conditions. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 1 |
Comments: | Since all Toon monsters come with what's known as Summoning Sickness (cannot attack the turn it is Summoned), there's no point in even bothering with this card because you'll just obtain a monster that can't attack regardless of when it's activated. |
DRL2-EN027 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | Mimicat Normal Spell If you control "Toon World" and a Toon monster: Target 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard; if it is a monster, Special Summon it to your side of the field, or if it is a Spell/Trap Card, Set it to your side of the field. You can only activate 1 "Mimicat" per turn. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | Obviously there'd have been confusion if they called this card Doppelganger due to a Trap Card having the same name but regardless of its name, you need a Toon monster and Toon World just to activate it and all to take a card your opponent will know about and place it on the field. |
DRL2-EN026 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | Comic Hand Equip Spell If you control "Toon World", equip to an opponent's monster. Take control of it. It is treated as a Toon monster. If your opponent controls no Toon monsters, it can attack your opponent directly. If "Toon World" is not on the field, destroy this card. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | Same as DRL2-EN025's comments. |
DRL2-EN025 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | Shadow Toon Normal Spell If you control "Toon World": Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of that face-up monster. You can only activate 1 "Shadow Toon" per turn. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | It needs Toon World on your field for its activation but with Toon Kingdom released and being treated as such, this card got more playability than it would otherwise. |
DRL2-EN024 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | Toon Rollback Normal Spell Target 1 Toon monster you control; it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | Unless the affected Toon monster is the likes of Toon Ancient Gear Golem and Toon Goblin Attack Force, which have no fee for attacking, then this'll likely do more hurt than good, especially if the attack is negated and/or you lose your monsters. |
DRL2-EN023 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | Toon Kingdom Field Spell When this card is activated: Banish 3 cards from the top of your Deck, face-down. This card's name becomes "Toon World" while in the Field Zone. Your opponent cannot target Toon monsters you control with card effects. If a Toon monster(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can banish 1 card from the top of your Deck, face-down, for each of those monster(s) instead. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 3 |
Comments: | Heaps better than Toon World because although it still has an activation requirement, it's not out of your LP and offers what the original TW does not, protection for your Toon monsters! |
DRL2-EN022 | |
Card Type: | Effect Monster |
Card Info | Toon Ancient Gear Golem EARTH / Machine-Type Toon / Level 8 / ATK 3000 / DEF 3000 Cannot attack the turn it is Summoned. While you control "Toon World" and your opponent controls no Toon monsters, this card can attack your opponent directly. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 4 |
Comments: | A card that wasn't actually a card in the anime as it was regular AGG converted into a Toon monster but unlike the original, this guy can be Special Summoned any way you like and since it comes with the original's other effects, not being able to attack right away is a very minor setback, especially if you bring it out during the first turn of the Duel! |
DRL2-EN021 | |
Card Type: | Trap Card |
Card Info | Red-Eyes Burn Normal Trap If a face-up "Red-Eyes" monster(s) you control, except "Red-Eyes B. Chick", is destroyed by battle or card effect: Target 1 of those monsters; both players take damage equal to its original ATK. You can only activate 1 "Red-Eyes Burn" per turn. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 1 |
Comments: | You have to lose your Red-Eyes monster via destruction and while your opponent is only out LP, you're out LP and a monster and it may be your only monster. |
DRL2-EN020 | |
Card Type: | Trap Card |
Card Info | Red-Eyes Spirit Normal Trap Target 1 "Red-Eyes" monster in your Graveyard, except "Red-Eyes B. Chick"; Special Summon it. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 3 |
Comments: | You wouldn't want to revive Red-Eyes B. Chick anyway and since this card can revive all the better choices, I give it 3 stars. |
DRL2-EN019 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | Dark Dragon Ritual Ritual Spell This card is used to Ritual Summon "Paladin of Dark Dragon". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 4 or more. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Red-Eyes" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | Most of the Red-Eyes support in this set is really all that good but that doesn't mean we're not getting additional better support later. |
DRL2-EN018 | |
Card Type: | Ritual Monster |
Card Info | Paladin of Dark Dragon DARK / Dragon-Type Ritual / Level 4 / ATK 1900 / DEF 1200 You can Ritual Summon this card with "Dark Dragon Ritual". At the start of the Damage Step, if this card attacks a Defense Position monster: Destroy that monster. You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Red-Eyes" monster from your hand or Deck, except "Red-Eyes B. Chick". You can only use this effect of "Paladin of Dark Dragon" once per turn. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 3 |
Comments: | Certainly better than Paladin of White Dragon because while PoWD prevents Blue-Eyes from attacking that turn and can only bring out Blue-Eyes, this card not only does not prevent the Red-Eyes monster from attacking but it can be just about any Red-Eyes monster you want, including Darkness Metal Dragon! |
DRL2-EN017 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | Red-Eyes Transmigration Ritual Spell This card is used to Ritual Summon "Lord of the Red". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field, and/or banish "Red-Eyes" monsters from your Graveyard, except "Red-Eyes B. Chick", whose total Levels equal 8 or more. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | Usually Ritual Spells get the same rating as the Ritual Monster they Summon but when they have more restraints than the Ritual Monster like this card does when banishing from the Graveyard, their rating drops accordingly. |
DRL2-EN016 | |
Card Type: | Ritual Monster |
Card Info | Lord of the Red FIRE / Dragon-Type Ritual / Level 8 / ATK 2400 / DEF 2100 You can Ritual Summon this card with "Red-Eyes Transmigration". Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated, except "Lord of the Red": You can target 1 monster on the field; destroy it. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated, except "Lord of the Red": You can target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 3 |
Comments: | It's a bit better than the anime because its effect is triggered during either player's turn and takes out a threat! |
DRL2-EN015 | |
Card Type: | Trap Card |
Card Info | Double Magical Arm Bind Normal Trap Tribute 2 monsters, then target 2 face-up monsters your opponent controls; take control of both targets until your End Phase. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | You have to give up 2 monsters you already own to temporarily get two monsters your opponent owns but if you use this during your opponent's turn, then you get to keep them a little longer and there are at least cards you can use to generate Tokens like Scapegoat. |
DRL2-EN014 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | Roulette Spider Quick-Play Spell When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Roll a six-sided die and apply the result. 1: Halve your LP. 2: Make that attack a direct attack. 3: Choose 1 monster you control, change the attack target to it, and perform damage calculation. 4: Choose 1 other monster your opponent controls, change the attack target to it, and perform damage calculation. 5: Negate the attack, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK. 6: Destroy that opponent's monster. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | It isn't that bad of a card considering the anime's effect cost half your LP to activate it and was a huge risk but here, most of the effects aren't that bad. |
DRL2-EN013 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | The Claw of Hermos Normal Spell (This card is also always treated as "Legendary Dragon Hermos".) Send 1 monster from your hand or your side of the field to the Graveyard, of the Type that is listed on a Fusion Monster that can only be Special Summoned with "The Claw of Hermos" (if that card is Set, reveal it), then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. You can only activate 1 "The Claw of Hermos" per turn. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | The card the previous four cards need to hit the field but aside from Time Magic Hammer, they're at least somewhat playable. |
DRL2-EN012 | |
Card Type: | Fusion Monster |
Card Info | Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword DARK / Dragon-Type Fusion / Level 7 / ATK 2400 / DEF 2000 Must be Special Summoned with "The Claw of Hermos", using a Dragon-Type monster, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 other face-up monster on the field; equip this card to it. It gains 1000 ATK, and 500 ATK and DEF for each Dragon-Type monster on the field and in the Graveyards. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | A one-time chance to power up any monster on the field by 1000 as well as obtain Dark Paladin's 500 per Dragon-Type monster ATK boost but that's still not good enough since you're forced to equip it when it's Summoned, making its ATK, DEF and Level useless. |
DRL2-EN011 | |
Card Type: | Fusion Monster |
Card Info | Goddess Bow LIGHT / Warrior-Type Fusion / Level 4 / ATK 1500 / DEF 1600 Must be Special Summoned with "The Claw of Hermos", using a Warrior-Type monster, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 other face-up monster on the field; equip this card to it. While this card is equipped to a monster by this effect, negate the first effect activated by your opponent during each Battle Phase, also, after that, the equipped monster can make a second attack during this Battle Phase. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | This card helped Atem defeat Raphael in their rematch but it won't help you much here because it only stops your opponent's first activated Effect Monster effect and letting it attack twice is already included with some monsters. |
DRL2-EN010 | |
Card Type: | Fusion Monster |
Card Info | Rocket Hermos Cannon LIGHT / Warrior-Type Fusion / Level 4 / ATK 1500 / DEF 1300 Must be Special Summoned with "The Claw of Hermos", using a Warrior-Type monster, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 other face-up monster on the field; equip this card to it. It can make a second attack during each Battle Phase, also, if it attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | This card proved to be a formidable force in the anime and here, your efforts give you an extra boost to any monster on the field, including your opponent's monsters and you don't have a choice whether or not to equip it. |
DRL2-EN009 | |
Card Type: | Fusion Monster |
Card Info | Time Magic Hammer LIGHT / Spellcaster-Type Fusion / Level 2 / ATK 500 / DEF 400 Must be Special Summoned with "The Claw of Hermos", using a Spellcaster-Type monster, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 other face-up monster on the field; equip this card to it. At the start of the Damage Step, if it battles an opponent's monster: You can roll a six-sided die, and banish that opponent's monster until the Standby Phase of the Nth turn after this effect's activation (N = the result). SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 1 |
Comments: | Valon ridiculed this card in the anime and with good reason because it was a poor stall card and here it's even worse because it's a feeble Monster Card with Time Wizard's properties, a summoning requirement and the ability to temporarily banish a monster. |
DRL2-EN008 | |
Card Type: | Effect Monster |
Card Info | Legendary Knight Hermos LIGHT / Warrior / Level 8 / ATK 2800 / DEF 1800 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned with "Legend of Heart", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 face-up Spell/Trap Card on the field; banish that target. Once per turn, when this card is targeted for an attack: You can target 1 Effect Monster in your Graveyard; until the End Phase of your next turn, this card's name becomes that target's, and replace this effect with that target's original effects. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | It doesn't banish the targeted Effect Monster in your Graveyard and basically becomes that monster but that change doesn't last and outside of that, he won't do anything outside the turn he's Summoned. |
DRL2-EN007 | |
Card Type: | Trap Card |
Card Info | Tyrant Wing Normal Trap Target 1 Dragon-Type monster on the field; equip this card to it. It gains 400 ATK and DEF, also it can make up to 2 attacks on monsters during each Battle Phase. During the End Phase, if the monster equipped with this card by this effect attacked an opponent's monster: Destroy this card. SUPER RARE |
Rating: | 1 |
Comments: | See what I mean? A measly 400 ATK boost and while the monster can attack twice, plenty of monsters already can without any side-effects and worse still, this card is destroyed whether its host attacks by its effect or not! |
DRL2-EN006 | |
Card Type: | Spell Card |
Card Info | The Fang of Critias Normal Spell (This card is also always treated as "Legendary Dragon Critias".) Send 1 Trap Card from your hand or your side of the field to the Graveyard, that is listed on a Fusion Monster that can only be Special Summoned with "The Fang of Critias" (if that card is Set, reveal it), then Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. You can only activate 1 "The Fang of Critias" per turn. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | Naturally, Mirror Force Dragon is the best Fusion Monster to use this on but other than that, it's not a great card. |
DRL2-EN005 | |
Card Type: | Fusion Monster |
Card Info | Mirror Force Dragon LIGHT / Dragon-Type Fusion / Level 8 / ATK 2800 / DEF 1200 Must be Special Summoned with "The Fang of Critias", using "Mirror Force", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When a monster(s) you control is targeted for an attack or by an opponent's card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can destroy all cards your opponent controls. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 4 |
Comments: | Mirror Force on its own is a great addition to anyone's Deck and for the situations it cannot be used, you can dispose of it to bring out this powerhouse and wipe your opponent's field clean! |
DRL2-EN004 | |
Card Type: | Fusion Monster |
Card Info | Tyrant Burst Dragon LIGHT / Dragon-Type Fusion / Level 8 / ATK 2900 / DEF 2500 Must be Special Summoned with "The Fang of Critias", using "Tyrant Wing", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. You can target 1 face-up monster you control; equip this monster to that target. It gains 400 ATK and DEF, also it can make 3 attacks during each Battle Phase. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | As you'll soon see, Tyrant Wing is not worthy of using but this card sort of makes up for it so if you're going to use TW, use it for this. |
DRL2-EN003 | |
Card Type: | Fusion Monster |
Card Info | Doom Virus Dragon DARK / Dragon-Type Fusion / Level 4 / ATK 1900 / DEF 1500 Must be Special Summoned with "The Fang of Critias", using "Crush Card Virus", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card is Special Summoned: Check your opponent's hand, all monsters they control, and all cards they draw until the end of their 3rd turn after this effect's activation, and destroy all those monsters with 1500 or more ATK. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | Crush Card Virus sucks now thanks to its latest errata (wasn't good before either IMO) so now this card has a purpose but not much of one as it's still using the watered down version from before. |
DRL2-EN002 | |
Card Type: | Effect Monster |
Card Info | Legendary Knight Critias LIGHT / Warrior / Level 8 / ATK 2800 / DEF 1800 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned with "Legend of Heart", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 face-up Spell/Trap Card on the field; banish that target. When this card is targeted for an attack: You can target 1 Trap Card in your Graveyard; Set that target. That Set card can be activated during this turn. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | Much like Legendary Knight Timaeus released last year, this guy has little to offset its 2000 LP fee used with Legend of Heart's activation but what little it does have isn't terrible either. |
DRL2-EN001 | |
Card Type: | Fusion Monster |
Card Info | Timaeus, the Knight of Destiny LIGHT / Warrior-Type Fusion / Level 10 / ATK ? / DEF ? "Legendary Knight Timaeus" + "Legendary Knight Critias" + "Legendary Knight Hermos" Must be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending the above cards you control to the Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. (You do not use "Polymerization".) This card is unaffected by other cards' effects. Once per battle, if this card attacks or is attacked, during damage calculation (in either player's turn): You can make this card's ATK and DEF become equal to the ATK of the monster on the field with the highest ATK (your choice, if tied). When this card is destroyed by battle: You can Special Summon 3 "Legendary Knight" monsters from your hand, Deck, and/or Graveyard, ignoring their Summoning conditions. SECRET RARE |
Rating: | 2 |
Comments: | It's essentially 2000 LP to bring this guy out as you use Legend of Heart to bring out the Legendary Knights, then send them for this card but using Polymerization would've been much more worthwhile as it's much more versatile and you're still sending the Fusion Materials to the Graveyard. Nevertheless, at least it's immune to other card effects and can be quite strong depending on the strongest monster out but only during damage calculation of either player's turn. |
