Comments: Regardless of what you choose, there needs to be two or more of that type on the field and that isn't very likely but if you succeed and don't have the required type on your field, then you don't lose anything.

Comments: Even better than Book of Eclipse because while that card is a Spell Card that you can activate anytime, those monsters don't stay face-down for long and your opponent draws extra cards, whereas this card keeps them face-down.

When that monster leaves the field, destroy this card.

Comments: With the right monster, you can somewhat create a lock on your opponent, though unless the Level 5+ monster is stronger, I don't see the point in destroying it early, even if to power it up because your opponent won't take any battle damage.

Comments: Even though this does prevent Special Summons equal or weaker than the affected monster, it's pointless because monsters stronger than it will render this card useless, especially since the affected monster gets no protection whatsoever.

Comments: Don't see why Sangan is in tears over this because even if he didn't commit any other crime, he still has powers that make him too good for tourmament play so he'd be there anyway. This card on the other hand, is not worth being short printed since both players are restrained to the choice for the remainder of the Duel so even if you get a powerful monster, if it's gone, you don't get any other monster effects that duel and that could end in your defeat.

Comments: Doubling ATK does nothing if it only deals half the battle damage because if your monster's ATK is now 3000 and your opponent's monster is 1500, you're dealing only 750 damage to your opponent and you can deal more than that without even having to attack.

Comments: Either way you'll get a monster but since you'll have to choose one of each, you're not guaranteed the one you want and thus may lose out on the one you do want, not to mention be only halfway to Pendulum Summoning your Extra Deck's new recruit and you cannot play more than one copy of this per turn.

Comments: Not only do you need to have 3 monsters with the same Type in your Grave but your Buster Blader or Destruction Sword monster gains only a temporary ATK boost and there's no point in retrieving it because even with Decks that use only one monster Type, you're only hurting yourself.
