Solemn Strike
Counter Trap
When a monster(s) would be Special Summoned, or a monster effect is
activated: Pay 1500 LP; negate the Summon or activation, and if you do,
destroy that card.

Oh sure this can tackle Pendulum Summons but
it's for 1500 LP and using it against an Effect Monster effect is pretty
stupid when there are better options. |

Forbidden Apocrypha
Normal Trap
Declare 1 Extra Deck monster card type (Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz); if 2
or more monsters of the declared type are on the field, make each player
send all monsters of that type from their field to the Graveyard.
COMMON |
Rating: |

Comments: |
Regardless of what you choose, there needs to be
two or more of that type on the field and that isn't very likely but if
you succeed and don't have the required type on your field, then you
don't lose anything. |

Pendulum Reborn

Special Summon 1 face-up Pendulum Monster from your Extra Deck, or 1
Pendulum Monster from your Graveyard.

It could even bring back Odd-Eyes Rebellion
Dragon as it's a Pendulum Monster too or any of the good D/D/D monsters
but not much else is worth it. |

Quaking Mirror Force
Normal Trap
When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Change all Attack
Position monsters your opponent controls to face-down Defense Position.
Monsters changed to face-down Defense Position by this effect cannot
change their battle positions.

Even better than Book of Eclipse because while
that card is a Spell Card that you can activate anytime, those monsters
don't stay face-down for long and your opponent draws extra cards,
whereas this card keeps them face-down. |

|
Shiranui Style Swallow's Slash
Normal Trap
Tribute 1 Zombie-Type monster, then target 2 cards on the field; destroy
them, then banish 1 "Shiranui" monster from your Deck. You can only
activate 1 "Shiranui Style Swallow's Slash" per turn.

You could get the same result with Trap of the
Imperial Tomb and you wouldn't have to banish any Shiranui monsters
either. |

Majespecter Supercell
Continuous Trap
While you have a "Majespecter" card in your Pendulum Zone, the
activation and effects of other "Majespecter" cards activated on your
side of the field cannot be negated. Once per turn: You can target 5
"Majespecter" cards in your Graveyard; shuffle all 5 into the Deck, then
draw 1 card.

Majespecters already can't be destroyed by card
effects so this adds a bit more protection, not to mention returns any
that didn't go to the Extra Deck back into your Deck and you get an
extra card. |
BOSH-EN073 |
|
Dinomist Rush
Normal Trap
Special Summon 1 "Dinomist" monster from your Deck, and if you do, it is
unaffected by other cards' effects, also destroy it during the End
Phase. You can only activate 1 "Dinomist Rush" per turn.

Not even the good options will help you here
because your new monster won't be around very long whether you use it or

Destruction Sword Flash
Normal Trap
If you control a Fusion Monster that lists "Buster Blader" as Material:
Banish all monsters your opponent controls. When a card or effect is
activated that targets a "Buster Blader" monster(s) you control (except
during the Damage Step): You can banish this card from your Graveyard;
negate that effect, and if you do, destroy that card.

from your Graveyard, but their effects are negated.

Call of the Haunted serves as a better monster
revival card since it takes less time to activate and you can not only

too. |

Follow Wing
Continuous Trap
Activate this card by targeting 1 Synchro Monster you control; it cannot
be destroyed by battle or your opponent's card effects. At the start of
the Damage Step, if it battles an opponent's Level 5 or higher monster:
You can destroy that opponent's monster, and if you do, the targeted
Synchro Monster gains ATK equal to the original ATK of the destroyed
monster, until the end of this turn. When that monster leaves the field,
destroy this card.

Comments: |
With the right monster, you can somewhat create
a lock on your opponent, though unless the Level 5+ monster is stronger,
I don't see the point in destroying it early, even if to power it up
because your opponent won't take any battle damage. |
BOSH-EN069 |
|
Dragon's Bind
Continuous Trap
Activate this card by targeting 1 Dragon-Type monster you control with
2500 or less ATK and DEF; neither player can Special Summon monsters
with ATK less than or equal to the original ATK of that monster. When
that monster leaves the field, destroy this card.
COMMON |
Rating: |
1 |
Comments: |
Even though this does prevent Special Summons
equal or weaker than the affected monster, it's pointless because
monsters stronger than it will render this card useless, especially
since the affected monster gets no protection whatsoever. |

Mistaken Accusation
Quick-Play Spell
If your opponent has more total cards in their hand and their side of
the field than you do: Target 1 face-up card on the field; neither
player can activate cards with that name, or their effects, for the rest
of this Duel, except that target. You can only activate 1 "Mistaken
Accusation" per turn.

Don't see why Sangan is in tears over this
because even if he didn't commit any other crime, he still has powers
that make him too good for tourmament play so he'd be there anyway. This
card on the other hand, is not worth being short printed since both
players are restrained to the choice for the remainder of the Duel so
even if you get a powerful monster, if it's gone, you don't get any
other monster effects that duel and that could end in your defeat. |

Odd-Eyes Advent
Ritual Spell
This card can be used to Ritual Summon any Dragon-Type Ritual Monster
from your hand or Graveyard. You must also Tribute Pendulum Monsters
from your hand or field whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level of
the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. If your opponent controls 2 or

monsters from your Extra Deck to the Graveyard. You can only activate 1

● Target 1 Zombie-Type monster with 0 DEF in your Graveyard; Special

Majespecter Sonics
Quick-Play Spell
Target 1 "Majespecter" monster you control; until the end of this turn,
its ATK and DEF become double its current ATK and DEF, also any battle
damage it inflicts to your opponent is halved.
COMMON |

Doubling ATK does nothing if it only deals half
the battle damage because if your monster's ATK is now 3000 and your
opponent's monster is 1500, you're dealing only 750 damage to your
opponent and you can deal more than that without even having to attack. |

Dinomist Charge

When this card is activated: Add 1 "Dinomist" monster from your Deck to

Draco Face-Off
Quick-Play Spell
Reveal 1 "Dracoslayer" Pendulum Monster and 1 "Dracoverlord" Pendulum
Monster from your Deck, your opponent randomly picks 1 of them for you

Either way you'll get a monster but since you'll
have to choose one of each, you're not guaranteed the one you want and

to Pendulum Summoning your Extra Deck's new recruit and you cannot play
more than one copy of this per turn. |

Karma of the Destruction Swordsman
Quick-Play Spell
Target up to 3 monsters of the same Type in your opponent's Graveyard;
banish them, and if you do, 1 "Buster Blader" monster or 1 "Destruction
Sword" monster you control gains 500 ATK and DEF for each of those
banished monsters, until the end of this turn. If this card is in your
Graveyard: You can discard 1 "Destruction Sword" card; add this card to
your hand. You can only use each effect of "Karma of the Destruction
Swordsman" once per turn.

Comments: |
Not only do you need to have 3 monsters with the
same Type in your Grave but your Buster Blader or Destruction Sword
monster gains only a temporary ATK boost and there's no point in
retrieving it because even with Decks that use only one monster Type,
you're only hurting yourself. |
