McPike Mansion

This mansion was named after the person it was built for, Henry Guest McPike in 1869. After the new owner Paul Laichinger took over from Henry, occupants started reporting strange activity in the house. Paul died in 1945 and since then the building has sat empty and desperately needs repairs. Restoration work had begun in 1994 by a couple named Sharyin and George Luedke when they started having in their own experiences. Nevertheless, they invite anyone willing to pay the site a visit and campouts are held regularly each year.
