PEARCE: This is it. Tonight's battles will give us a Robot Wars champion.

CRAIG: We're down to 4 robots, only one will come out on top and our Robot Wars Champion so......................let the final battles begin!

STUART: From the United States, Lifter

PEARCE: Wedge skirts all around and a lethal lifting arm.

STUART: From the United Sates, Spin2Win

PEARCE: Invertible with rear spikes and a front wedge.

STUART: Roboteers........standby........

PEARCE: Spin2Win with David Rose at the controls. Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. Our House Robots for this battle are Shunt and Sir Killalot

STUART: 3........2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: What a battle this should be. Lifter in underneath Spin2Win and flipping him! Spin2Win can run upside down don't forget but he is much more vulnerable and it's showing here as Lifer has him again! No flip yet though but Spin2Win needs a way out and he gets one but it's the way out of the competition!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Spin2Win not winning this time as Lifter lifts him out of the arena to move to the Grand Final! *crowd cheers* Who will join him?

STUART: From Ipswich, Chaos 2

PEARCE: Will it bring Chaos on itself or its opposition?

STUART: From Hampshire, Plunderbird 5

PEARCE: A Razer-esque beak and front scoop. Could be trouble for Chaos 2.

STUART: Roboteers.......standby......

PEARCE: Chaos 2 with George Francis at the controls and Mike Onslow at the controls for Plunderbird 5. Sgt Bash is in the arena and so is Matilda.

STUART: 3.......2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Both Roboteers having an err passing glance if you will with their robots. Plunderbird underneath our previous champ, Chaos 2! Ooh, Chaos 2 slips out of that one. Chaos 2, in underneath Plunderbird and is taking him to the arena side wall. Perhaps to flip him out I wonder? Plunderbird isn't flipped out but....on his side?! Can Plunderbird 5 right itself from there? Chaos 2 staying away. Plunderbird motionless. Refbot speechless. What a quick end this has been for Plunderbird 5. To be honest, these first TWO battles were rather short! The Pit yawns for Plunderbird 5. Matilda nudging Plunderbird.....pushing, shoving, discarding Plunderbird into the Pit.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Plunderbird makes a blunder and ends up in the Pit, Chaos 2 meets Lifter in the Grand Final! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: This battle determines our champion of Robot Wars the 9th Wars. Let's find our champion!

STUART: Chaos 2

PEARCE: The excitement has built up to this point.

STUART: Lifter

PEARCE: Which one will reign supreme?

STUART: Roboteers.......standby........

PEARCE: Our finalists ready to go. Dead Metal and Shunt in the CPZs.

STUART: 3........2........1..........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: This for a place as Robot Wars Champion. Lifter flipping Chaos 2 and I think Chaos 2 is stuck there. Only temporarily it would seem. Chaos 2 on the attack on Lifter and Dead Metal is waiting for them! Ooh both Roboteers escape. Chaos 2 turned turtle and in great peril by Lifter! Chaos 2 needs to get back over as his title is at stake here. Chaos 2 righted and under Lifter once more! Lifter now in peril here as he is pinned in between the arena floor and arena side wall. Chaos 2 isn't sure how to get him the rest of the way out. Goodness me, he's done it, Chaos 2 are our champions of Robot Wars the 9th wars!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well 2 robots have battled their way here and fought bravely but only one of them came out alive. Give it up for our champion, CHAOS 2!!!!!!! *crowd cheers* Well done, George Francis and the rest of the Chaos 2 team! You move your canoe with oars, you find a champion, on Robot Wars. Bye-Bye!

PEARCE: Tonight on Robot Wars, we move into our Semi-Finals. 3 more robots will advance and 3 others will suffer defeat.

CRAIG: It's time for the Semi-Finals. Only the best of our 6 robots fighting tonight will move on so let the wars begin!

STUART: From the United States, Lifter

PEARCE: A lifting arm and wedge skirts, very formidable.

STUART: From the United States, Mauler

PEARCE: A spinner robot, will it be a spin to win or lose?

STUART: Roboteers......standby......

PEARCE: Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls and Mauler with Morgan Tilford at the controls. For House Robots, we have Sgt Bash and his flame thrower with jaws duet. Dead Metal and his duet of pincers and saw.

STUART: 3........2.........1...........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Lifter on the attack with Mauler and unable to use that magnificent lifting arm to flip Mauler. Mauler spinning away and, er, nibbling at Lifter. Lifter with a miss again. Mauler underneath Lifter? A surprise all around here but is Mauler now stuck in the gap between the arena floor and the bar for the arena side wall? Only for a minute, yes. Lifter bringing him back under there! Mauler out of the arena!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well Lifter didn't need to lift to push Mauler out of the arena. Lifter shoves through! *crowd cheers* Now it's Dominator 2 against Plunderbird 5.

STUART: From Huntington, Dominator 2

PEARCE: The fearsome axe and wedge scoop.

STUART: From Hampshire, Plunderbird 5

PEARCE: Here come the grizzly Plunderbird boys. A crusher at the front and a rear wedge. I'm hoping for a better performance from this robot to be honest.

STUART: Roboteers........standby........

PEARCE: Plunderbird 5 with Mike Onslow at the controls and Dominator 2 with with Bruce Benson at the controls. In the arena for House Robots.....oooh Sir Killalot and his red eyes. Our mistress of mayhem Matilda.

STUART: 3...........2..........1.............ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Dominator 2 attacking Plunderbird 5 and moving him to Matilda but Plunderbird slips out of it. Plunderbird 5 now in underneath the ground clearance of Dominator 2 but Dominator 2 slips away. What a battle this is. Plunderbird 5 again slipping underneath Dominator and nearly brings him to Sir Killalot! Dominator toppled by Plunderbird but can self-right yet Plunderbird doesn't want that and is trying to prevent that. Dominator back over and we have a brief stand-still but it's Plunderbird that gets underneath and Dominator is getting attacked by Matilda! Dominator struggling, straining, lifting, trying to get back over but his axe appears to be stuck now. Plunderbird wisely away and has triggered the Pit but is he now stuck? Worthy winners they are, Plunderbird and free they are now. Dominator (laughing) is put out of the arena by Matilda. I'm not too sure that was the way they wanted Dominator to go.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Dominator not dominant over Plunderbird. Plunderbird glides through! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: The Plunderbird boys advance and they'll have a chance at Chaos 2 our champion if both those boys and Chaos 2 can get past their opponents. Speaking of opponents, we have 2 left for tonight so let's watch what happens.

STUART: From the United States, Spin2Win

PEARCE: Dual weaponry and very quick but it has a high ground clearance.

STUART: From the United States, BULLdozer

PEARCE: Tank treads and a lifting plow for a weapon.

STUART: Roboteers......standby......

PEARCE: BULLdozer with Jerome Miles at the controls. Spin2Win with Dave Rose at the controls. In the arena for the House Robots is Shunt and Dead Metal.

STUART: 3.........2.........1..........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: One of these winners will meet in the final battles of this series of Robot Wars. BULLdozer with the near flip on Spin2Win there. BULL toppled over and I'm not sure he can right from that position. Spin2Win certainly not letting him as BULL is now on his scoop, splendid stuff here. Spin2Win knocks BULL back over! I think they got a little cocky there. They thought they had the win in the bag but now you will pay the price, Spin2Win. Or will they? Has BULL been immobilized? Refbot coming to check. Spin2Win flipping themselves but they can run upside down. Refbot sees immobilization here. Spin2Win with the final shove and BULL out.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Spin2Win with the right to spin as they move on to the final battles! *crowd cheers* Fix the squeak on all of your doors, fix your eyes..... to Robot Wars, bye-bye!

PEARCE: Another 3 robots will battle it out for places in the Semi Finals. Let's find out who they'll be!

STUART: From Ipswich, Chaos 2.

PEARCE:  Our star flipper in this series but it can easily be pushed around.

STUART: From Derby, Suicidal Tendencies

PEARCE: Armed with its crushing beak and scoop. It's sure to have no suicidal tendencies.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby.......

PEARCE: Chaos 2, George Francis, Richard and Ian Swann. Suicidal Tendencies with Charles Binns at the controls. In the CPZs, there's Dead Metal and Sgt Bash.

STUART: 3.........2..........1..........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Suicidal Tendencies up underneath Chaos 2 and pushes him into Dead Metal's CPZ! Chaos 2 is in major peril here and he's trying to self-right from his side. George Francis is working hard to get his robot back over and he does. Suicidal Tendencies on the attack again, Chaos 2, with no way of getting in underneath the scoop of ST. Chaos 2, now in underneath ST and back into Dead Metal's CPZ where ST is in trouble from Dead Metal! ST now on his side! Chaos 2, wisely staying out of the way and Refbot has a check. ST motionless, Chaos 2, winners!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: What a battle! Chaos 2 forces suicide on ST and goes thrashing on! *crowd cheers* Now who's next to be annihilated?

STUART: From the United States, Spin2Win

PEARCE: A front scoop and rear spikes, invertible but a high ground clearance.

STUART: From the United States, Mauler II

PEARCE: One of 2 of our ferocious spinners in this series. Is it a rising star or death star?

STUART: Roboteers.......standby........

PEARCE: Mauler II with Morgan Tilford at the controls, Spin2Win with the Hypno Disc boys at the controls. In the arena for the House Robots, Shunt with the axe and scoop. Sir Killalot with the duet of deadly arms.

STUART: 3.........2.........1...........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: What a vicious hit! Mauler II has run into Refbot. Is there any damage to our Ref out there I wonder? Goodness me, another crash and Mauler II has hit Refbot once again! What power is in that spinning weapon of Mauler II! Oh dear, both robots flipped over and is Spin2Win stuck on the arena wall? No, it's okay and Mauler II is back over as well. Mauler II over and out of the arena!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, Mauler II mauled Refbot but is kicked out of the competition. Spin2Win spins through! *crowd cheers* Who's next?

STUART: From the United States, Grappler

PEARCE: Designed with one of those CAT machines in mind.

STUART: From the United States, Mauler

PEARCE: Is it a small devastator, or a big problem for themselves?

STUART: Roboteers.......standby.......

PEARCE: Grappler with Alec Aizner at the controls. Mauler with Morgan Tilford at the controls. Matilda is in the arena for the House Robots. Shunt, too.

STUART: 3.........2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: An immediate flip on Mauler! I don't think Grappler is mobile from that point. Mauler pushing Grappler to Shunt, who rights Grappler ironically. Grappler, enduring some of the worst punishment from Mauler here. Grappler on his side and Mauler moving him to Matilda. Matilda with her chainsaw.....has flipped herself over! Oh dear her own weapon causing her downfall in this battle. Refbot having a look. Grappler, only just moving but out. Shunt, now moving Grappler to the Drop Zone, a new feature for this wars. (Laughing) Grappler gets a nick.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, Grappler's grip too little for Mauler. Mauler advances to the Semi-Final! *crowd cheers* Be careful of tripping over cords, be careful of the warzone, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

PEARCE: Tonight the next 3 robots will move on and the other 3 will die. Who will it be?

STUART: From the United States, S.A.W. II

PEARCE: A vicious weapon at the front but very easily flipped.

STUART: From the United States, Mauler II

PEARCE: Bigger than his smaller companion, who is also in this series.

STUART: Roboteers........standby.......

PEARCE: S.A.W. II with with Robert Marzinske at the controls.  Mauler II with Morgan Tilford at the controls. In the arena for House Robots, Sgt Bash. Dead Metal too.

STUART: 3.........2........1..........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Both robots bouncing off one another, and again. This is going to be an interesting battle. Mauler II with the flip and S.A.W. II quickly back over. Really isn't much to turn the tables is there from either robot? S.A.W. II activates the Pit, a good maneuver by Robert. A few more hits and SAW is in the Pit, Mauler II have won it!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Mauler II, too much for S.A.W. II and goes thrashing on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Let's see what we have for our next pair.

STUART: From the United States, Lifter

PEARCE: An actuated lifting arm and side skirts, it is a formidable opponent.

STUART: From Cluster, Pussycat

PEARCE: Always lands on its feet and will continue battling with its lethal blade.

STUART: Roboteers.......standby......

PEARCE: Pussycat with Alan Gribble at the controls, Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. For House Robots, there's Shunt and his axe and scoop. Matilda with her tusks and chainsaw.

STUART: 3........2.......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Lifter the stronger of the two, flipping Pussycat. Pussycat with the srimech is back over. Lifter on the attack again. Pussycat really unable to do anything except drive up the skirts of Lifter. Lifter flipping again, Pussycat no match whatsoever. Lifter flips again and ooh, pinning him down to throw him out and he does! Lifter through!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, Pussycat's nine lives not enough for Lifter, who throws him out of the arena and moves on! *crowd cheers* Who's next?

PEARCE: We'll find out shortly, Craig with our final battle of the night.

STUART: From the United States, Mauler

PEARCE: Little to be said here. Just a smaller version of his twin.

STUART: From the United States, Angler

PEARCE: Really, little to say here as well. His lifer has been locked to be used as a sort of ram and his wedge skirts pretty well touch the floor.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby......

PEARCE: Angler with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. Mauler with Morgan Tilford at the controls. In the arena for House Robots is  Sir Killalot and Dead Metal

STUART: 3........2.......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE:  Both robots very sturdy and without any sort of flipper but only one has a srimech and that's Mauler. He's going to have to use it and both robots are flipped over. Angler out of it, Mauler able to self-right but stuck under the arena side wall. It'll just take a moment to right them and there we go. Both robots flipped again?! What's happening down there? Mauler's back over but Angler can't get out of it due to locking his weapon in place. Refbot sees a dead robot, Mauler activating the Pit. Killalot with the final push into the Pit.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Both robots immobilized, righted, then re-immobilized, Mauler escaped and moves on! *crowd cheers* Factories work to make metal ores, we make destruction, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

PEARCE: Starlight, star bright, what carnage will we see tonight? Well then let's get to our first battle.

STUART: From Cambridgeshire, Dominator 2

PEARCE: An axe on top and a very steep wedge. Quick and maneuverable too.

STUART: From the United States, Swinging Knife

PEARCE: Two-wheeled, rather large wheels actually. It's knife looks menacing, it's wedge looks hard to get in underneath and it's design looks nearly unbeatable.

STUART: Roboteers.......standby......

PEARCE: Dominator 2 with Dominator 2 with Bruce Benson at the controls. Swinging Knife with Christian Carlberg at the controls.  Who will be in the CPZs tonight? It'll be Matilda with her duet of destructive weaponry and Sir Killalot with his duet of deadly arms.

STUART: 3.........2........1..........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Swinging Knife in underneath Dominator 2 and pushes him into the wall. Both robots away and oh look at this! Dominator 2 has hit a critical area on Swinging Knife. The axe of Dominator 2 has landed in between the wheel and the body frame and it looks to be stuck on there. Dominator 2, it looks like, is trying to get Swinging Knife out but has him instead standing on end and now on his side! Oh dear, you'd better get yourself back over, Swinging Knife as here comes Refbot, who will count you out. This looked so promising for Swinging Knife but wait a minute, Swinging Knife is back over! He used the blade to swing back and forth to hit the wall and fall over, brilliant tactics, Christian Carlberg. Dominator 2 has once again buried his axe in a weak spot for Swinging Knife, who must be immobile now and this time, Dominator 2 says goodbye and dumps him out.  Brilliant stuff in this battle.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Domination by Dominator 2. They move on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Now, round 2, um let's see what the next two robots can offer us.

STUART: From East Sussex, Gemini

PEARCE: Either way this robot is attacked, there is a flipper that awaits you and perhaps even defeat!

STUART: From the United States, BULLdozer

PEARCE: When push comes to shove, there is no bull from this robot.

STUART: Roboteers........standby.......

PEARCE: Gemini with Shane Howard at the controls. BULLdozer with Jerome Miles at the controls. In the arena to join our competitors is Shunt and Dead Metal.

STUART: 3.........2.........1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: BULLdozer in underneath Gemini and into the wall they go. Gemini is free but its flipper seems to be stuck upwards. BULLdozer flipping Gemini on the jammed flipper! That's it for Gemini if they can't get that flipper working. Refbot is having a look and thinks that Gemini is out. Gemini out, BULLdozer through. Shunt and Dead Metal know it's time to play with their prey. Shunt pushing Gemini around, Dead Metal activating the Pit. Shunt positions Gemini on the flipper and Gemini is on his side now. The House Robots give their funeral by burying the disabled Gemini into the Pit of Oblivion.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Two heads weren't better than one in this battle, BULLdozer shoves Gemini out of the way and moves on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Here we go for round 3. I await to see what excitement we have in this battle.

STUART: From the United States, Your  Worst Knightmare

PEARCE: Runs either way up, has a lethal disc at the front.

STUART: From Hampshire, Plunderbird 5

PEARCE: Its robot is as nasty as the rhymes the Plunderbird boys use.

STUART: Roboteers.........standby.........

PEARCE: Plunderbird 5 with Mike Onslow at the controls. Your Worst Knightmare with Jim Smentowski at the controls. For House Robots, there's Sir Killalot and for the only time tonight, Sgt Bash.

STUART: 3.........2.........1...........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Plunderbird 5 on the attack on Your Worst Knightmare, who has a very high ground clearance so I think he'll be at a disadvantage against the Plunderbird boys. P5 taking YWK to Sir Killalot but Sir Killalot missed the opportunity there, not like Sir Killalot at all. YWK now a roof ornament on P5 and with good tactics, is free. P5 on the attack once more and YWK out of the arena.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Plunderbird 5 picked on Your Worst Knightmare and dropped him out of the arena to go zooming on! *crowd cheers* Robots can put holes into your floors, they can dish it out, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

PEARCE: Tonight begins our quarter-final rounds. Winners move on, losers go home. Let's find out who thrives and who dies.

STUART: From Ipswich, Chaos 2

PEARCE: Our star-flipper that has a tendency to flip opposition out of the arena.

STUART: From Langport, Wheely Big Cheese

PEARCE: A large flipper with equally large wheels. Will its performance be large too?

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: Chaos 2 with George Francis at the controls. Wheely Big Cheese with Roger Plant at the controls. In the arena for House Robots is Shunt with his axe and scoop.  Sgt Bash and his arsenal of flamethrower and jaws.

STUART: 3........2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Chaos 2 in underneath Wheely Big Cheese. Wheely Big Cheese able to slip away. Chaos 2 again in underneath Wheely Big Cheese and very nearly could've gotten him out of the arena. Wheely Big Cheese underneath Chaos 2 but Chaos 2 away. This is an exciting battle isn't it? Wheely Big Cheese under Chaos 2 once again and into Shunt's CPZ! Ooh, Chaos 2 very nearly in Shunt's grasp. Chaos 2 flipped up and over, then back again. Wheely Big Cheese on the attack and pushing Chaos 2 with Shunt, who seems to have been toppled and immobilized. Is Chaos 2 immobilized? They can't seem to get their flipper going, you can see it's up against the support for our Arena Dropzone. Chaos 2 underneath Wheely Big Cheese again and make a run for the wall but the judges will have to decide!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: You both know the criteria: Style, Control, Damage and Aggression. The judges have made their decision........................they've gone for CHAOS 2! *crowd cheers* Dear me, what a close battle. Let's continue with round 2.

STUART: From the United States, Spin2Win

PEARCE: A two-wheeled robot with a front wedge and rear spikes. It can run either way but exposed tires are its weakness.

STUART: From Panduit in Swansea, Mega Morg

PEARCE: A front lifter for weapon and its srimech is its own body believe it or not. As it is flipped over, the barrel-like design helps it back over.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: Spin2Win with David Rose at the controls. Mega Morg with Dorian Caudy at the controls. For House Robots, there's Matilda with her tusks and chainsaw. Of course, there's Dead Metal with his jaws and saw.

STUART: 3.........2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Spin2Win on the attack on Mega Morg and over to the arena side wall they go. Mega Morg is up against the wall, and I think that because he wasn't rolled over, he can't do anything and is therefore immobilized. Spin2Win, I think, is trying to get his opponent out but isn't doing so well, nearly getting stuck on top of MM. A little bit more, Spin2Win. MM is on the edge.....and out!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: What a battle, Spin2Win needed no spinning to win the quick battle and go marching on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Now we begin round 3.

STUART: From the United States, Wheelchair Bot

PEARCE: A very low wedge but high ground clearance and exposed wheels.

STUART: From Derby, Suicidal Tendencies

PEARCE: Certainly hoping its attempts at victory aren't suicidal. Tank tread design, a crushing beak, and a srimech.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: Wheelchair Bot with Trevor Andrew at the controls. Suicidal Tendencies with Charles Binns at the controls. In the arena for House Robots is the blinking eyes of Sir Killalot and for the second time tonight, Sgt Bash.

STUART: 3.......2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: This battle is going to be tough for both robots as we can see that neither has a low enough front wedge to get under his opponent. Suicidal Tendencies on the attack and pushes Wheelchair Bot around. Suicidal again on the attack and with a slam into our arena side wall. Wheelchair Bot, having trouble maneuvering it looks like and is flicked up and over by ST. Ooh, ST flipped over and back over once again. ST on the attack yet again and has WB stuck on the arena side wall! WB free? How did that come about? ST moves WB to the side wall and is trying, struggling, pushing... and unable to get WB out and won't do so now. Who wins this bout? It's up to the Judges.

CRAIG: The judges have made their decision.............they've gone for SUICIDAL TENDENCIES! *crowd cheers* Well, you find your needs in many stores, you find carnage, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

PEARCE: We're down to 6 competitors, 3 of which will advance to the quarter-final rounds. So let's get the mayhem started!

STUART: From the United States, Grappler

PEARCE: Another robot in this series completely scaled down from it's much larger CAT machine.

STUART: From the United States, All-Weather Tire Bot

PEARCE: A tire for armor and body but no srimech.

STUART: Roboteers....standby.....

PEARCE: All-Weather Tire Bot with Travis Wood at the controls. Grappler with Alec Aizner at the controls. Lurking in the CPZs will be Matilda and her chainsaw, and Sgt Bash with his flamethrower.

STUART: 3.......2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: What an interesting pairing these two are. Neither have a wedge or flipper or any big sort of weaponry really. Ooh, Grappler in underneath All-Weather Tire Bot. Where is he taking AWTB I wonder? Out of the arena and goodness me, Grappler's immobilized, none of his wheels are touching the ground and his weapon can't reach far enough. Just need a minute or two to get the bots back in the arena there. If only one was knocked out, the one still mobile would've won. Okay, the battle is underway again. PEARCE: Will it be a last hurrah for this robot or will it get the hurrah of victory?

PEARCE: RA with Solomon Spector at the controls. Dominator 2 with Bruce Benson at the controls. Here to spread some gloom and doom in the arena is Sir Killalot and his accomplice Dead Metal.

STUART: 3........2.......1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Dominator 2 quick with his axe on RA. He's pushing and maneuvering RA to Sir Killalot's deadly arms. Killalot having his way with RA. RA with the escape. D2 on the attack once again, slamming RA into the arena side wall but can't get him out, and another slam, and another. When will it end? Ha-ha, RA on his side! Here comes Refbot to look but it's pretty obvious from up here that RA is immobilized. 8, 9, 10. RA out. Killalot and Dead Metal stalk their prey. I think this is the most fun they've had in quite a while with all the quick immobilizations we've had in this series of Robot Wars. The Pit now yawns for a victim, which today is RA. Down you go.

PEARCE: I'm hoping that its name isn't going to be towards itself in the end.

PEARCE: The last remaining scaled down CAT vehicle in this series. It has a typical bulldozer blade and wheels on the bottom, tracks are painted on.

PEARCE: U Lose with Phil Putman at the controls. BULLdozer For House Robots, we have Shunt with his axe and scoop. Alongside him is Sgt Bash.

PEARCE: The pressure is on for our last winner for the quarter-finals. U Lose on his side already and being slammed into Sgt Bash's CPZ and being attacked there! BULLdozer, struggling, pushing, nudging and finally U Lose out, ironically.

CRAIG: U Lose ironically loses while BULLdozer moves to the quarter-finals! *crowd cheers* It's nerve-racking to see two teams with close scores, it's pure mayhem, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

PEARCE: Tonight will be the start of our final rounds before the Semis and Championship battles. Winners move on, losers go to the scrap. Let the road to the Semi-Finals begin!

PEARCE: An early standoff in this battle. Crunching and crashing, neither one succeeding. Oh and Your Worst Knightmare is flipped over by Alpha Raptor's Revenge! Certainly not possible by just ARR, though. ARR on his top and this should now be over and we see YWK slamming ARR into the wall and using his disc to deal damage as Refbot has a look and quickly sees a dead bot. Sgt Bash and Matilda working together and I'm sure unintentionally having Bash activate the Pit. Matilda with the shove and Bash with the final push....into the pit with you, ARR.

PEARCE: A slow start to this battle. Ooh, S.A.W. II in underneath Carnage N Destruction. Both robots away and  SAW on the attack, slamming CND into the wall and can he....yes, he got CND out!

CRAIG: S.A.W. II created more carnage than Carnage and Destruction. They go cutting on! *crowd cheers* Well, it's  best to use salt on canker sores, it's best to watch the carnage, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

PEARCE: Destroyed robot remains are scattered about as the quest for robot glory continues. Who will prevail tonight?

PEARCE: Our Volkswagen beetle shaped robot is back with his two-wheel drive, disk at the front and of course his tiny size.

PEARCE: A low ground clearance accompanied by wedges on all sides and a lifting, err plow if you like.

PEARCE: Angler and Anto. Who is the superior bot? Angler on top, almost literally as Anto is toppled and pushed into Sir Killalot's CPZ! It's fair game in the CPZs, House Robots can attack if you enter there and (laughing) oh Anto thrown out by Killalot! Not sure he planned it that way though but Angler through.

CRAIG: Well Anto tossed aside by Sir Killalot. Angler found all the angles to win and moves on! *crowd cheers* Are you all ready for more? *crowd cheers* Then let's continue with round 2.

PEARCE: The flipping arm and srimech. Hopefully he won't be....x-terminated!

PEARCE: The barrel-like shape and the lifter at the front. Will it play dead or be dead?

PEARCE: Mega Morg with the flipping spikes if you like and X-Terminator on its side but it has a srimech on the sides there and is now back over. Mega Morg in underneath X-Terminator and is lifting, hoisting, pushing...and X-Terminator gets away. Mega Morg again underneath X-Terminator's somewhat high ground clearance at the flipping arm. Mega Morg with the lift again but once again X-Terminator away. Ooh, a 3rd attempt by Mega Morg! X-Terminator on its side against our arena side wall! Mega Morg pushing, struggling, shoving, and X-Terminator out!

CRAIG: Well X-Terminator living up to the opposite of his name while Mega Morg rolls on! *crowd cheers* Let's complete tonight's trilogy of mayhem with round 3.

PEARCE: A spinning disc with teeth on it but really not much else to speak of, not even a srimech.

STUART: From East Sussex, Gemini

PEARCE: The non-cluster bot for this warzone. It has dual flippers for weaponry.

PEARCE: Gemini with Shane Howard at the controls. Bender with Erik Stolken at the controls. For House Robots, we have first-time-tonight Dead Metal and second-timer Matilda.

STUART: 3.........2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Gemini with the lift on Bender and Bender's in the air, look at this! Bender back down and gets away, not a smart move by Gemini's team. Gemini on the attack again and Bender with Matilda, who puts Bender on his side. Ooh, Gemini in Matilda's CPZ and attacking Matilda! Bender back over?! Bender lives to fight another day but is once again flipped and moved back with Matilda. Gemini lifting and finally getting Bender out.

CRAIG: What a battle, Gemini proved two flippers are better than one blade and throws Bender out. Gemini through! *crowd cheers* When it rains, it pours, when robots enter, it's mayhem, on Robot Wars. Bye-Bye!

PEARCE: There is bloodshed of dead robots on the arena floor. Only a few have survived thus far. Who will join them? Let's find out with round 1.

PEARCE: A similar design to it's smaller self. Two wheel drive and the same round shape.

STUART: From Middleton Chamber, Spin2Win

PEARCE: Another two-wheeled wedge bot with rear spikes. It runs either way but it's wheels aren't protected.

PEARCE: Anto 2 with Craig at the controls. Spin2Win with Dave Rose at the controls. For House Robots, there's Sgt Bash with his flame thrower and jaws. Shunt is in there too.

STUART: 3........2........1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Spin2Win immediately in underneath Anto 2 and into the side wall they go. Could they get Anto 2 out already? No, not quite. Ooh, Spin2Win underneath again and can we succeed this time? Anto.....teetering and (laughs) on top of Spin2Win. Spin2Win, is he stuck on the arena side wall? Looks like is just able to get traction to escape. Spin2Win backing up and oh, Anto 2 out!

CRAIG: This must be out quickest Robot Wars match thus far! Anto tossed aside by Spin2Win. Spin2Win spins on! *crowd cheers* Who will join him?

STUART: From Derby in England, Suicidal Tendencies

PEARCE: Let's just hope their attempt at winning isn't suicidal. Tracks for movement and the front scoop and the crushing beak.

STUART: From the United States, Forklift

PEARCE: A front wedge and a....forklift at the rear I think. Is invertible but has exposed tires.

STUART: Roboteers.......standby.......

PEARCE: Suicidal Tendencies with Charles Binns at the controls. Forklift with Gauge Cauchois at the controls. For House Robots, we have Dead Metal and Sir Killalot.

STUART: 3.......2.........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Both robots a little tentative in this one. Oh, Suicidal Tendencies in underneath Forklift and has him now! Ooh, a slam into the wall by ST. Poor Forklift, unable to do really anything right now. Forklift might be able to get away now but wait a minute, ST got him at a new angle and Forklift's out while ST is on his back but he uses his srimech! Dear me, a record already broken!

CRAIG: Another turn-up for the books, an even quicker victory has occurred as Suicidal Tendencies moves on! *crowd cheers* Will Round 3 go by this quickly? Let's find out!

PEARCE: Four wedges and an actuated lifting arm. Flip it over, though, and it's out.

STUART: From the United States, Cannible

PEARCE: Looks like a cannon with wheels, it's not invertible but can self-right.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.......

PEARCE: Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. And of course, Cannible with Scott LaValley at the controls. With us for this battle will be Sir Killalot. Joining him is Matilda.

STUART: 3.......2.......1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Lifter in underneath Cannible but cannot complete the toss. Cannible away and ooh, Lifter with the flip. Cannible apparently can run upside down! It matters not as we see Lifter flip him once again. Cannible up against the wall....Lifter with another flip and Cannible's stuck I think. No, it's back off but Lifter throws him out! What an incredible battle!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, Lifter gives Cannible a lift out of the competition and continues on! *crowd cheers* Watch your step around cords. Watch the carnage, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

PEARCE: The battle for glory continues! Another 3 robots emerge but only one can move on!

CRAIG: We've already had 3 winners so far but the warzone is only lightly coated with robot shards. Are you all ready for more mayhem? *crowd cheers* Then it's time for our first battle.

STUART: From Middleton Chamber: Hypno Disc

PEARCE: The deadly creation from the Rose boys. Its destructive disc is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

STUART: From the United States: Swinging Knife

PEARCE: A wedge design with an overhead chopping, err knife but its wheels are exposed.

STUART: Roboteers......standby....

PEARCE: Swinging Knife with Christian Carlberg at the controls. The deadly Hypno Disc with Dave Rose at the controls. Then, our mayhem cannot be complete without our House Robots and for the first battle, it'll be Sgt Bash with the jaws and flamethrower. With him is our mistress of mayhem, Matilda.

STUART: 3.......2.......1.......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: The battle is now underway. Swinging Knife in underneath Hypno Disc, whose ground clearance is much higher than SK's, and flips him over but HD has a srimech and uses it. SK with the wedge design, which is working splendidly if I might add, again pushing HD into a CPZ but no one's home, lucky break for HD. Not for long, says SK as he flips HD over once again. HD, using the srimech is back over but is he now immobilized on our arena wall? Can't tell from here but he's not moving. Refbot seems to think so and is counting HD out. It's over, SK have won it! Bash opens the Pit. Matilda with the rather stylish shove into the Pit.

CRAIG: Well, Hypno Disc out and Swinging Knife goes through! *crowd cheers* Round 2 shall now begin!

STUART: From the United States, Mauler II

PEARCE: A deadly spinner but will it maul or be mauled?

STUART: From Ash in Hampshire, Wild Thing

PEARCE: A wedge and a spinning disc, can self-right but exposed tires could be a problem.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby.....

PEARCE: Wild Thing with Nick Adams at the controls. Mauler II with Morgan Tilford at the controls. Our House Robots will be Shunt and his duet of axe and scoop. Here with him is Dead Metal and his duet of pincers and saw.

STUART: 3......2......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Both robots bumping and barging, neither side succeeding. Ho-ho, Mauler II flips Wild Thing! What a surprise! Wild Thing back on his feet and we're back to the, err bumper cars match. Mauler II again flips Wild Thing! How on Earth is he doing this? Wild Thing over once again and oh what a hit, both robots sent flying! Both remain upright, though. Wild Thing underneath Mauler II! Well at least he has a somewhat wedge shape and could he get Mauler II on his side? No. Back to the hits of no avail. The judges are going to have to decide and oh, another fantastic hit and Mauler II's on his back!

CRAIG: The judges have made their decision....it's for MAULER II! It's time for more mayhem with round 3!

STUART: From Durham, Firestorm IV

PEARCE: A wedge/flipper combo but will it be enough?

STUART: From Langport in Somerset, Wheely Big Cheese

PEARCE: A flipper and large wheels. It has a srimech for this version.

PEARCE: Wheely Big Cheese with Roger Plant at the controls. And Firestorm IV with Graham Bone at the controls. Joining our robots tonight are Sir Killalot with his deadly arms and blinking eyes. With him, is Dead Metal.

STUART: 3.....2......1.......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Wheely Big Cheese in underneath Firestorm IV, almost able to flip him. Doesn't seem like his wedge is low enough, Firestorm IV, he just can't get underneath.  Both robots with Dead Metal in his CPZ! Dead Metal attacking Firestorm and WBC attacking Dead Metal! Both away now. (Laughing) Refbot assists Wheely Big Cheese in flipping Firestorm over. Firestorm IV not able to do anything as we see WBC in underneath Firestorm IV and oh, FIRESTORM OUT OF OUR ARENA! What a splendid performance by Wheely Big Cheese!

CRAIG: Firestorm not hot enough to take out Wheely Big Cheese and burns out. Wheely Big Cheese goes rolling on! *crowd cheers* It's not pleasant when someone snores. It's truly awesome, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

PEARCE: Tonight, it's carnage in the warzone as we feature competitors new and old in a battle for glory!

CRAIG: Well, a new day dawns and new faces emerge. Are you all ready for some mechanical mayhem? *the audience cheers* Then let the wars begin! Let's kick it off with round 1.

STUART: From Ipswich, Chaos 2

PEARCE: Our champion for 3 wars now. Its powerful flipper shall toss all opposition out of the arena.

STUART: From Huntington, Tornado

PEARCE: That lethal disk has done major damage in the past but this version is not invertible, it has a srimech instead.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: Our reigning champ, Chaos 2 with George Francis at the controls. Tornado with Andrew at the controls. In the CPZs, the Corner Patrol Zones, we have Sgt Bash with his jaws and flame thrower, and Matilda with her tusks and chainsaw.

STUART: 3.......2.........1............ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Chaos 2 straight away on the attack, pushing Tornado around but Tornado is able to get away. Both robots, uh, bumping and barging. Chaos 2 with the flipper underneath Tornado but once again Tornado away. Well Tornado so far has the quickness of a tornado that's for sure. Oh, goodness me, Tornado dancing with Matilda! Stupendous driving by George Francis! Tornado out of Matilda's clutches! Chaos 2 with the flip on Tornado, Tornado with the srimech and back over. Chaos 2 with the flipper again and is Tornado caught on our arena side wall? I think so! Refbot with a look. 8, 9. and 10. Tornado out, Chaos 2 through. Matilda has Tornado. Matilda opens the Pit and drops the lifeless Tornado down.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: What a battle this has been. Tornado reduced to a light breeze. Chaos 2 through! *crowd cheers* Let the mayhem continue!

STUART: From Bordmont, Razer

PEARCE: Our mechanized bird machine if you like. It's crushing beak has 9 tons of force and its wedge will put all opponents in its grasp.

STUART: From Closter, Pussycat

PEARCE: The cat of the warzone. It'll always land with at least two paws on the ground. In the arena is Shunt and his duo of scoop and axe. With him is Sir Killalot and his duo of arms and nasty look.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby......

PEARCE: Pussycat with Alan Gribble at the controls, and Razer with Ian Lewis at the controls.

STUART: 3.........2.........1..........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: So will Razer win the classic re-match? Certainly seems like so thus far. Razer with the flip on Pussycat, and again. Pussycat on the arena side wall! Oh, Pussycat escapes with its 9 lives! The clock is ticking down, with Razer and Pussycat in Killalot's CPZ! Who wins?

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, the judges have made their decision......they've gone for Pussycat!

PEARCE: Well, dear me, poor Razer just can't seem to defeat the cat with 9 lives.

CRAIG: Pussycat escapes by its lives and goes running on! *crowd cheers* Let Round 3 begin!

STUART: From Gwent, Panic Attack

PEARCE: It has wedge skirts on the sides and electric forks on the front, as well as a srimech on top.

STUART: From Hamshire, Plunderbird 5

PEARCE: A wedge at the front and rear, claw at the front.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.......

PEARCE: Panic Attack with Kim Pritchard at the controls, and Plunderbird 5 with Mike Onslow at the controls. For House Robots, we have Dead Metal with saw and pincers. Alongside him is Sir Killalot with the lance and pincers.

STUART: 3........2.........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Plunderbird 5 with the flip on Panic Attack. Panic Attack, struggling, stopping, sputtering and finally back over. Panic Attack again flipped but on his topside and self-rights. Oh dear me, both robots flipped! (Laughing) Panic Attack self-rights on Plunderbird, who self-rights and flips Panic Attack back over! Plunderbird with Dead Metal! Ooh, just able to get away, Plunderbird. Panic Attack in trouble here, as it seems to be on its back end! Srimech can't help there, I'm afraid. Panic Attack beaten. Killalot with the shove and where's he taking Panic Attack? Ooh to our Dropzone, a new feature in the warzone this series. What's going to come out of there? Plastic balls and Panic Attack on its head! Killalot moves Panic Attack to the flipper after activating the Pit. Didn't fly very far, though. Now for the burial. Panic Attack...oh and Killalot into the Pit!

CRAIG: Panic Attack panicked and lost and Plunderbird 5 flies on! *crowd cheers* It's not nice to slam doors, it's better to slam robots, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!
