Yu-Gi-Oh Anime Cards (Page 65)

*Card effects below are as accurate as possible.
Episode 24: Hunting Down the Hunter (2)
Card Type: Trap Card
Card Info Photon Shock
Anime Normal Trap
Activate only when you would take battle damage from a battle involving a "Photon" monster you control. Your opponent takes the same amount of battle damage you take from this battle.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Though Waboku is the better choice given it's more versatile than this, this does have its minor uses.

Card Type: Trap Card
Card Info Clean Barrier - Clear Force
Anime Normal Trap
Activate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack. The ATK of all face-up monsters your opponent controls becomes its original ATK and negate any card effects that would change the ATK of a monster(s) your opponent controls. These changes last until the end of the Battle Phase.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Your opponent's monsters would have to be pretty powered up for this to be useful because otherwise, it's not much more to lose, unless it's more than your remaining LP.

Card Type: Trap Card
Card Info Armored Back
Anime Normal Trap
When a monster you control equipped with an Equip Spell Card is destroyed, Special Summon that monster from the Graveyard and equip it with the Equip Card it was equipped with. It cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects this turn.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It's a bit more strict than other cards that revive monsters but often times the Equip Card isn't included and this re-attaches it to that monster and prevents its destruction that turn, which isn't too bad.

Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Drop Exchange
Anime Normal Spell
Send 2 or more monsters you control to the Graveyard. Special Summon 1 monster from your hand whose Level equals the total Levels of the sent monsters.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Since it costs you two monsterws from your hand, you might as well bring out a high-Level monster as otherwise, it's pretty much a waste.
Episode 23: Hunting Down the Hunter (1)
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Photon Spear
Anime Equip Spell
Equip only to a "Photon" monster. When the equipped monster attacks a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the equipped monster's ATK, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. The equipped monster can be treated as 2 Tributes for a Tribute Summon.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Like Photon Sublimation, this card wouldn't have much to be used with as they generally proved mediocre as a whole.

Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Photon Hurricane
Anime Normal Spell
Return Spell or Trap Cards your opponent controls to the hand, up to the number of cards in your hand.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: You'd be able to bypass many cards that rely on destruction to trigger their effects but it's limited to the amount of cards in your hand.
Episode 22: The Shark Hunter
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Photon Sublimation
Anime Normal Spell
Remove from play  2 "Photon" monsters from your Graveyard. Draw 2 cards.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Photon monsters never really impressed me but dumping them in the Grave to use this isn't all that bad.

Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Forced Release
Anime Normal Spell
Select 1 Xyz Monster on the field and detach all of its Xyz Materials.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Forcing an Xyz Monster to be basically without its effects isn't all that bad, especially when the owner is punished for not detaching Xyz Materials at a specified time. It'd be better as a Quick-Play Spell though.

Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Shark Lair
Anime Continuous Spell
Activate only by sending 1 Fish-Type monster from your hand to the Graveyard. Monsters your opponent controls with less ATK than the sent monster's ATK cannot attack.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It costs you a Fish-Type monster from your hand but a powerful one can help you out. Unfortunately, it doesn't do anything else.
Episode 21: Battle with the Bot
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Junk Robot Teapot Kangaroo
EARTH / Machine / Level 3 / ATK 800 / DEF 1200
If you would take Battle Damage, you can send this face-up card you control to the Graveyard to reduce the damage from that battle to 0.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Zero Gardna already outclasses this card because it can be activated during either player's turn and also prevents your monsters' destruction in battle, not to mention reduces battle damage to 0 for the entire turn.

Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Gagaga Thunder
Anime Normal Spell
Select 2 "Gagaga" monsters you control that have a Level. Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the difference in Levels between those monsters x 300.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Gagaga Magician is probably one of the cards that'll give you the most damage potential as it can change its Level to as high as 8 and there are other ways to manipulate Levels too.

Card Type: Xyz Monster
Card Info Recycle Rhinobot
EARTH / Machine-Type Xyz / Rank 4 / ATK 2700 / DEF 2000
3 Level 4 EARTH Machine-Type monsters
You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to have 1 monster you control gain 500 ATK. During your End Phase, if this card has no Xyz Materials, destroy the monster you control with the lowest ATK (if it's a tie, you get to choose) and inflict damage to both players equal to its original ATK.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: It takes more effort than most Xyz Monsters and making your monsters stronger with its effect will cost you in the end because you'll lose your weakest monster and some LP.

Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Junk Robot Computerkong
EARTH / Machine / Level 4 / ATK 1000 / DEF 1000
You can send this face-up card you control to the Graveyard to have 1 "Junk Robot" monster you control gain 800 ATK until the End Phase.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Must be from the early days of computers when they were slow and inefficient because his stats and effect are both pretty bad.

Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Junk Robot Cleanaga
EARTH / Machine / Level 4 / ATK 1200 / DEF 800
You can send this face-up card you control to the Graveyard to select 1 "Junk Robot" monster in your Graveyard. Add that monster to your hand.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Junk Robots wouldn't be the worst archetype upon release as they have plenty of indirect support like Limiter Removal but as of yet, they aren't here.

Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Eco Spell - Recycle
Anime Normal Spell
Select 2 of your removed from play "Junk Robot" monsters and Special Summon them.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Obviously it'd be meant to be used with Eco Spell - Reduced Waste but it's hardly a noteworthy combo.

Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Junk Robot Camelcycle
EARTH / Machine / Level 4 / ATK 800 / DEF 1600
You can send this face-up card you control to the Graveyard to select 1 "Eco Spell" card in your Graveyard. Add that card to your hand.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: There's no telling how powerful Konami would make Eco Spells but given they haven't been released yet, they may not be called that upon release.

Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Eco Spell - Reduce Waste
Anime Normal Spell
Remove from play 2 "Junk Robot" monsters from your Deck, then add 1 "Junk Robot" monster from your Deck to your hand.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: The Junk Robot archetype doesn't exist yet as real cards but perhaps Konami could make it more versatile and apply to Junk monsters? Even then it wouldn't be much good though.
Episode 20: Roots of the Problem (Continued)
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Xyz Cyclone
Anime Quick-Play Spell
Activate only when an Xyz Monster your opponent controls is destroyed by battle. Select 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field and destroy it, and if the destroyed Xyz Monster had Xyz Material, you can select 1 other Spell or Trap Card on the field and destroy it.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: In most cases it's a poor man's MST and destroying the 2nd Spell/Trap Card will require the destroyed Xyz Monster to have Xyz Material.

Card Type: Trap Card
Card Info Gearspring Exploder
Anime Normal Trap
Activate only during your turn when a Gearspring Counter(s) is placed on a card(s) you control. Inflict 800 damage to your opponent for each Gearspring Counter on your side of the field.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It supports two cards we still don't have yet so it's really going to be pretty well useless until one of them is released, preferably not the 2nd card.

Card Type: Trap Card
Card Info Overlay Banish
Anime Counter Trap
Activate only during your Battle Phase when an effect is activated by detaching an Xyz Material(s). Negate that effect.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Not many monsters detach Xyz Materials during the Battle Phase but this isn't bad against those that do.
