Episode 134: Dragon Strife (1)
At the duel, with duel preparations complete, Kite gets a brief sensation before drawning and playing Photon Thrasher (2100) in Attack Mode. Next, since he controls a monster with 2000 or more ATK, he Special Summons Overlay Booster (2000) in Attack Mode. Then he Tributes his monsters to Special Summon Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (3000) in Attack Mode. Kite sets 1 card to end his turn before Mizar admits that Galaxy-Eyes is impressive and considers Kite his worthy opponent. Regardless, Mizar must crush Kite and draws before activating Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One to Special Summon Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (3000) in Attack Mode from his Extra Deck, then use it as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon in the CG (4500) in Attack Mode.
Despite Kite's confidence, Mizar activates Neo Tachyon's effect to detach an Xyz Material from itself and return all other face-up cards to the hand, giving him back The Seventh One. Furthermore, now Mizar can choose to negate the activation of cards and destroy them. (Not so with the real card's effect.) Mizar's attack prompts Kite to activate Galaxy Tyranno's effect from his hand, to use it and Photon Dragon as Xyz Material, whereby GT counts as 2 Xyz Materials. (The real card Special Summons itself when a Galaxy monster you control is attacked and doesn't count as 2 Xyz Materials.) With that, Kite uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (4500) in Attack Mode and Mizar commends him for it. However, Kite assures that his will win. Back on Earth, Yuma and a few others are in tears over the loss of their former friends. Nothing Yuma has done has made a difference but Astral spots two lights on the moon and knows it must be a battle of two Galaxy-Eyes monster.
When Yuma looks for himself, he realizes Kite must be involved. Back at the duel, Kite notes that while his monster loses its effects, it can't be desttroyed in battle (what they don't tell you is that this is due to Galaxy Tyranno's effect, though the real card doesn't have these effects either). Mizar feels his monster will win anyway and attacks. To aid in his monster's win over the battle, Mizar acttivates Galaxy Shockwave to give his monster 1500 ATK to 6000 and negate Neo Photon Dragon's effects. (What they also don't say or indicate is an additional requirement on the card's text of removing from play another card but it's unclear what type of card, if any.) As a result, Kite's monster is destroyed, leaving Kite on the ground and down to 2500 LPs. The attack leaves Kite with blurry vision but Kite tries to shake it off and ignore Orbital. Regardless, Orbital has remembered the exact moment it was born, recalling all the times it had back then. What's more, Orbital has realized that Kite's vision has never been the same since the duel with Heartland.
Kite wants none of it but allows Orbital to restore his eyesight provided Orbital doesn't bother him for the rest of the duel. Orbital agrees, leaving Kite to realize that his next turn could be his last and decides to call upon the legend for guidance. He draws and plays Galaxy Rebirth to revive Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon with half its ATK, bringing its ATK down to 1500 and make itself count as a monster with the same Level as Galaxy-Eyes for an Xyz Summon. With that done, Kite uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon (4000) in Attack Mode. Mizar is in shock and doesn't understand how Kite got a new Galaxy-Eyes but it was all thanks to believing in the legend. Due to Number 62's first effect, all Xyz Monsters Rank up by 1, making it Level 9 and Tachyon Dragon Level 10. (the real card doesn't have this effect.) Since it's not enough, Kite attacks, then activates Number 62's other effect to give it ATK equal to the total Ranks of Xyz Monsters on the field x 200, raising its ATK by 3800 to 7800.
Orbital remarks on how beautful Mercury looks (though it looks more like Mars than Mercury) and is reminded of Lilybot. Back at Yuma's house, Lilybot has fallen (as it was kicked by Kari in the Japanese but they cut that scene out) but gets up and interrupts Kari on her computer to find Orbital through its own drive for love. To Kari's surprise, Lilybot not only gets all systems up and running again but gets Kite's duel with Mizar on screen. Hart arrives to see Dr.Faker watching the duel in progress and hopes Kite is careful. At the duel, Mizar is willing to make Kite pay and activates Tachyon Chaos Hole to banish all cards on Kite's field since a Galaxy-Eyes monster on his own field was destroyed. Left with nothing else to do, Kite sets 1 card to end his turn so Mizar skips his Draw Phase to activate TCH's effect from the Graveyard and Special Summon Neo Tachyon Dragon from his Graveyard in Attack Mode.
(The real card banishes itself to Special Summon the Galaxy-Eyes Xyz Monster.) Since Kite is defenseless, Mizar attacks directly with Neo Tachyon Dragon but Kite activates Double Dragon Descent to Special Summon a Dragon-Type Xyz Monster from his Extra Deck since he's being attacked directly. (The real card only Special Summons LIGHT Dragon-Type Xyz Monsters.) When Kite is about to choose, Jinlon appears to request his monster. Kite agrees and Special Summons Number 46: Dragulon (3000) in Attack Mode and Mizar recognizes it right away. Jinlon asks Mizar to recall what actually happened in the past but Kite activates DDD's other effect to make Number 46's ATK equal Neo Tachyon's ATK, raising its ATK to 4500. Kite's attack causes a collsion as Jinlon recalls Mizar's true past where Don Thousand appears to change his memories and hand him Number 107.
Mizar struggles to accept the truth but it's clear to Kite as being the true events. The collision throws both of them to the ground and Mizar is reverted to his human self. It doesn't last long though as Mizar is back in Barian form, refusing to believe the story and activating his own Galaxy Rebirth to revive Neo Tachyon, lowering its ATK to 2250. Mizar attacks directly and all seems lost but is that true or does Kite have something up his sleeve?
