Episode 121: Mission: Astral World (4) | |
At the duel, Yuma is still in disbelief that such an Xyz Monster could
exist but Elephus takes his turn by retrieving and using
Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force to use New
Order 12: Eperic Maahes as Xyz Material for New
Order 13: Etheric Amon (5000) in Attack Mode. Back in the real
world, the portal is still unstable and begins to come apart, promting
Orbital 7 to suggest leaving before they're gone with it but Tori
doesn't like the sound of it, even though there's nothing they can do to
help Yuma now. Back at the duel, Elephus uses New Order 13's effect to
obtain Xyz Materials from Yuma's Deck equal to the difference between
its Rank and Yuma's Utopia Ray Victory. Since the difference is 8, Amon
gains 8 Xyz Materials and Yuma is down 8 cards in his Deck. Worse still,
Amon gains 100 ATK for each of its Xyz Materials, raising it by 1100 to
6100. Furthermore, due to Rank-Up Advantage's effect, Elephus draws 1 card and Shining Draw can give him any card in his Deck he needs. However, he doesn't need the card he gets and attacks, activating Rank Advantage's effect to lower Utopia Ray Victory's ATK by 8000, 1000 x the difference in Ranks, leaving it with 0. Elephus attacks but after some realization, Yuma activates Purge Ray to Tribute URV and get a new Xyz Monster at the end of the turn. A replay occurs so Elephhus attacks Yuma directly, prompting Yuma to activate Rainbow Kuriboh's effect from the Graveyard., Special Summoning it (100) in Defense Mode, leaving it to take the hit instead, sending Yuma back a ways. With that, Elephus ends his turn, letting Yuma revive Number 39: Utopia (2500) in Attack Mode by PR's effect. Regardless, due to Amon's effect, it gains Xyz Materials equal to the dfference in Ranks, giving it 9 more Xyz Mateials and 900 more ATK to 7000. While Yuma's friends escape the portal's demise, Yuma falls to his knees. Realizing he cannot afford to lose Astral again, Yuma gets up and performs his own Shining Draw, leaving Elephus to wonder if he was wrong about Yuma. Yuma's draw gets him Rank-Down-Magic Numeron Fall, which he uses to use Utopia as Xyz Material for Number 39: Utopia Roots (500) in Attack Mode, a move that cofuses Elephus, before Elephus reminds Yuma of Number 13's effect, which is used to give itself 1200 more ATK to 8200 and deplete the rest of the cards in Yuma's Deck. Regardless, Yuma is smiling and attacks, letting Utopia Roots detach an Xyz Material to give to Amon and negate the attack, raising Amon's ATK to 8300. Furthermore, UR gains ATK equal to the difference in Ranks, giving it 1200 ATK. (The real card gains ATK only when an Xyz Monster's attack is negated and gains ATK equal to that monster's Rank x 500.) Since it's not enough, Yuma adds that UR's ATK is multiplied by the number of Xyz Materials Amon has, multiplying its ATK by 33 to 39,600. However, Elephus notes that Utopia Roots cannot attack again this turn since it already attacked. Yuma disagrees and activates Double or Nothing! to not only double Utopia Roots' ATK to 79,200. As Ena and her group look on, Yuma attacks, taking out Amon to win the duel. Elephus admits he was wrong and Ena and her group use a piece of their powers to revive Astral, bringing Yuma to tears when they finally touch hands. Yuma's hug and sorrow comes as a surprise to Astral but he nonetheless is happy. Meanwhile, Shark and Rio are taken to Barian World, where their true friends are, including the army Shark thought was lost. Shark will lead the army to victory once the battle between Astral World and Barian World begins. All Shark needs to do now is pick which side to be on. After some consideration, Shark chooses to side with Barian World, declaring they'll defeat Yuma together. Back at Elephus' palace of sorts, Astral thanks Yuma for all the hard work he did and was able to hear Yuma the entire time. However, Elephus arrives to note that there's danger ahead and they see a power from Barian World arriving. Yuma and Astral must go and see what's going on as it could be Don Thousand, a foe Astral fought ages ago that could be behind the event. As a bonus, Elephus hands them a card to help with their battle and Yuma gets his key back. The duo fly off, hoping to duel again another time. They pass by Yuma's parents, whom know that Yuma is feeling the flow. In Barian World, Don Thousand is ready to plunge the human world into total chaos! |
