| Episode 110: A World of Chaos (1) | |

We find Dark Mist struggling with the chaos inside him but knows he'll
somehow survive and must if he's to defeat Astral. With a bit more
struggling, Dark Mist overcomes his obstacle and becomes more powerful
than Astral, or he himself, could ever imagine. Astral is inside the
ship analyzing the story of the Barians as human, knowing that Shark and
Rio play a part but senses trouble in Astral World. Sure enough, dark
spheres are forming but it's not just Astral World as Don Thousand and
Vector discover the ordeal in Barian World too. Don Thousand orders
Vector to seek Dark Mist out while Dark Mist seeks to destroy everything
everywhere. Astral arrives in Yuma's room from within Yuma's key and has
to wake Yuma up to share the bad news. Yuma does awaken but falls out of his hammok as a result. They first must find the cause and head downstairs where Kari is already watching the news of the disaster unfolding. Astral realizes that Number 96: Dark Mist is probably behind the events and Dark Mist realizes Astral has sensed him. Meanbwhile, Shark stands by a bed-ridden Rio still unsure whether they're with Barian World. Rio gets her usual visions of Yuma in danger but it's not immediately clear what that means to Shark. Outisde, Yuma shares the info with Tori and hopes this time Rio isn't out for as long but Astral reveals that Shark isn't willing to speak because he's hiding something, as if in fear that Yuma will turn his back on him. As if on cue, Shark arrives but while he learns that Yuma is fine, a black "snow" starts falling and Tori finds it painful to touch. Astral realizes that Dark Mist is appearing. Dark Mist's eyes appear and take Yuma, Astral, Tori and Shark with them but Orbital 7 picks up the disturbance and Kite flies closer. However, Kite gets too close and is taken in by Dark Mist too. The group comes to and learns of Dark Mist being behind everything simply because he can. Dark Mist has been waiting for a rematch and envelops himself, Astral and Yuma in a Barian Sphere Field before showing them what he can do once inside it. Duel preparations get underway before Dark Mist draws and plays Malicevorous Spoon (100) in Attack Mode. Next he discards Malicevorous Knife to Special Summon Malicevorous Fork (400) in Attack Mode. Furthermore, Dark Mist uses MS' effect to Special Summon Malicevorous Knife (600) in Attack Mode from the Graveyard. It's a move all-too-familiar to Yuma and Astral as this is what Dark Mist did last time. Just as before, Dark Mist uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 96: Dark Mist (100) in Attack Mode. Witht that done, Dark Mist uses Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force to use Dark Mist as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 96: Dark Storm (Number C96: Dark Storm in the CG) (1000) in Attack Mode. Finally, Dark Mist sets 1 card to end his turn and Astral and Yuma know to duel carefully. Yuma draws and plays Gogogo Golem (1800) in Attack Mode, then does what Astral says and plays Doggy Diver (1000) in Attack Mode (as Dark Mist controls a monster and Yuma controls only a Level 4 monster but they don't tell you that). Now, Yuma uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 39: Utopia (2500) in Attack Mode. Furthermore, he uses Rank-Up-Magic Numeron Force to use Utopia as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray Victory (Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory in the CG (2800) in Attack Mode. Due to Numeron Force's effect all other effects are negated but Dark Mist laughs as it's what he wanted and activates Chaos Bringer to send all of Utopia Ray Victory's Xyz Materials to the Graveyard since Yuma summoned a Chaos Xyz Monster. Worse still, CB also lets Dark Mist add a Field Spell from his Deck to his hand and he chooses Chaos Field. As an added bonus CB prevents Utopia Ray Victory from attacking this turn so Yuma sets 1 card to end his turn. Dark Mist draws and activates Chaos Field, letting him detach a Chaos Xyz Material to Special Summon 1 random Xyz Monster from Yuma's Deck without any of its effects. (A card with this name exists in the CG but it's entirely different.) Dark Mist isn't interested in leaving Yuma's Number cards alone and gets rid of one of Dark Storm's Chaos Xyz Materials to Special Summon Number 69: Heraldry Crest (2600) in Attack Mode from Yuma's Deck. CF's other effect lets Dark Mist use the new Xyz Monster to Xyz Summon a monster with one Rank higher so Dark Mist does so with Heraldry Crest to Xyz Summon Chaos Number 69: Heraldry Crest of Horror (Number C69: Heraldry Crest of Horror in the CG) (4000) in Attack Mode. Worse still, Dark Mist uses Number C69's effect to detach a Chaos Xyz Material to not only take Utopia Ray Victory's ATK but it's effects too, raising its ATK to 6800. His attack forces Yuma to activate Number Spell Caster to Tribute Utopia Ray Victory and acttivate a Spell Card from his Deck like Swords of Burning Light, preventing Dark Mist from attacking while Yuma has no monsters out. Dark Mist admits it was smart but doesn't think it'll help them escape their fate and sets 1 card to end his turn. Yuma draws and gets exactly what he needs and sets it to end his turn. Dark Mist doesn't see a point in Yuma continuing but draws and uses CF's effect to Special Summon Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon (0000) in Attack Mode, then use it as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 92: Heart-eartH Chaos Dragon (Number C92: Heart-earth Chaos Dragon in the CG) (1000) in Attack Mode. Now, Dark Mist uses Chaos Number 92's effect to detach a Chaos Xyz Material to negate the effects of Yuma's cards this turn and prevent Yuma from activating his face-down cards either. It's the end for Yuma and Astral! |
