Episode 33: Foolish Fans | |
Inside his room (or the like), Quattro is trying to figure out his next opponent
as there are so many possibilities but his friend, revealed as Quinton, doesn't
share his enthusiasm. It's not Quattro's fault he's popular but the two get into
an argument once Quinton points out that he's waiting for tougher opponents. A
2nd friend of there's appears with tea (or the like) to break it up, revealed as
Trey by a third person coming down the stairs, revealed as Vetrix as Quinton
scolds Quattro for talking that way to Vetrix. Trey has a mission today and
Quinton hands him a Number card in case Quattro and Shark confront each other.
Quinton wants to take back everything Dr. Faker stole from his group and Vetrix doesn't want Dr. Faker to find out that he himself isn't gone, at least not until he reveals himself. Meanwhile, in Heartland City, after Mr. Heartland's short speech, Yuma is pretty confident about wining the carnival and Lilybot has to be informed of Heart Pieces but Yuma should be focused on his next duel first. Caswell and Bronk speed by and when Caswell takes a fall, Yuma learns why they're in such a hurry. Quattro is going to be there and is one of the best and challenged Bronk and Caswell to a duel. Yuma suggests not dueling Quattro as he's heard Quattro doesn't play by the rules but Bronk and Caswell don't listen and resume their journey with Yuma and Tory following suit. They arrive before Trey and Quattro do and when confronted with autographs, Quattro is more than happy to give them for Bronk and Caswell. Since Bronk and Caswell can't decide which should duel Quattro first, Quattro suggests a Battle Royale, where all three of them will duel. Duel preparations take place before Bronk draws and plays Aye-Iron (1600) in Attack Mode before ending his turn. All Caswell can do is summon Debugger X (900) in Attack Mode so after a little praising, Quattro draws and sets a monster and 2 other cards before playing Xyz Colosseum to end his turn. Not only does XC give Xyz Monsters 200 ATK (which I will include for any Xyz Monsters Summoned while it's out) but it prevents non-Xyz monsters from attacking. Bronk and Caswell strategize before Bronk draws and summons Tin Goldfish (800) in Attack Mode. Due to TG's effect, Bronk plays a second Tin Goldfish in Attack Mode. Next, he uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Tin Archduke (2400) in Attack Mode. Then he uses TA's effect to detach an Xyz Material from itself to change Quattro's face down Gimmick Puppet Princess (0000) to Attack Mode. His attack takes out GPP to leave Quattro down to 1600 LPs. However, Quattro is ready with Puppet Repair to Special Summon another Gimmick Puppet Princess in Defense Mode since it's the same monster as the one that was destroyed. Nevertheless, Bronk uses TA's effect once more to put GPP in Attack Mode and Quattro continues his false praising before Caswell draws and summons Debugger Z (700) in Attack Mode, letting him then play Debugger Y (400) in Attack Mode since he controls Debugger X. After that, he uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Antidote Nurse (2000) in Attack Mode. Caswell's attack takes out GPP but Quattro activates Gimmick Box to reduce the Battle Damage from the ATK to 0 but it also becomes a monster with ATK equal to the Battle Damage he would've taken, giving it 2000 ATK. Trey advises to stop dueling and reveals to Yuma and others that he's a Number Hunter. Quattro doesn't listen and would rather watch them squirm and draws. Next he plays Gimmick Puppet Scarecrow (800) in Attack Mode. Then he uses Level Doubler to discard 1 card (Xyz Effect) to double GPS' Level to 8. After that, he uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder (1700) in Attack Mode. Next he uses Giant Grinder's effect to detach an Xyz Material to destroy Bronk and Caswell's Xyz Monsters and deal them damage equal to their ATKs, leaving Caswell and Bronk on the ground and down to 2000 LPs and 1600 LPs respectively. (The real card can only destroy 1 Special Summoned monster at a time.) However, Quattro still isn't done as he removes from play both GPPs in his Graveyard to revive both the destroyed Xyz Monsters to their owners' field. Once again, he uses GG's effect to destroy them and defeat Cawell and Bronk but it's not over there as he wants to attack and delivers a blow to each of them before the duel finally ends. Bronk comes too but Caswell does not and Yuma has had enough, declaring to duel Quattro next but Shark intercepts to duel instead. |
