Episode 182: A Duel with Dartz (6)

The duel continues as Dartz's attack on DMG is stopped thanks to Yami using Legendary Knight Hermos' effect to take Obnoxious Celtic Guardian (Guard)'s effect to save itself in battle from monsters with at least 1900 ATK points and steps in to defend DMG. Yami draws and attacks with his knight, using LKC's effect to take Attack Guidance Barrier's effect and transfer his ATK to Hermos, which in turn triples its own ATK and moving it back to Critas as Yami tributes the three Magnet Warriors. With that not enough and still having one knight left, Yami sends them all to the Graveyard for Knight of Destiny, which also has infinite ATK points. His attack destroys Divine Serpent and wins Yami the duel. As a result, a chasm has opened up and Dartz becomes angry but is eaten by The Great Leviathan.  A storm builds, creating a whirlpool in the nearby ocean as Roland and his accomplice wonder if they're safe where they are. The Legendary Knights release the trapped souls of the Legendary Dragon card holders and they slowly come to, reuniting together.

Roland orders them outside and they watch Atlantis rise from the ocean depths. Meanwhile, on board the USS Courage, the radar detects a storm 6000 miles across heading for the Eastern Seaboard in an hour's time. Yugi and Kaiba decide to head up to Atlantis to find Dartz but Joey wants to join in. Inside, Yugi's Millennium Puzzle reacts to something and Yugi finds all 3 God Cards but their energy has been sacrificed to The Great Leviathan. The enter the Soul Room and find no souls anywhere, leaving Joey to conclude they've all been offered up and the group head into the portal before them and are transported onto Atlantis itself. Yugi becomes Yam and the group find a green pillar of light and discover the source leads to a sort of crystallized version of Dartz that disappears the moment Yami touches it. Dartz is with The Great Leviathan as he's offered up his own soul and TGL emerges and wraps itself around Atlantis. Joey has had enough and activates his duel disk with the others following suit. Yami then plays Dark Magician, Summoned Skull, and Kuriboh. Joey adds Flame Swordsman, Jinzo, and Red-Eyes B. Dragon. Kaiba completes the line up with Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Gadget Soldier, and Vorse Raider. Furthermore, each summon their Legendary Dragons before Yami uses Legend of Heart and unlocks the Legendary Knights.

The monsters wage battle but TGL is unharmed and begins pulling away as Dartz wonders when their real attack is coming. It comes quickly as Yami uses Timaeus to take Multiply's effect and attack again but even that does nothing. TGL strikes back and Yami uses Timaeus again to take Big Shield Gardna and make it indestructible in battle while the other monsters are destroyed. As TGL gets ready for another attack, it's looking like the moment the gateway first opened all over again!
