Episode 160: On the Wrong Track (1) | |
Just outside the the train they will board, the gang discuss the trip ahead and board but Yami remains silent about the recent loss of Yugi, even when Tea` tries to strike up a conversation. Yami cannot listen to Tea`'s coercing and moves to the next train car. We find Yami between train cars, questioning his actions from his duel with Raphael. He punches the train car door in anger, then slumps to the floor, convinced that Yugi is lost forever. Meanwhile, Tristan realizes the train car isn't as full as it once was and a search yields no one else either and we see that Dartz was behind it. They at last run into Yami and dart off to find the culprit. However, after Yami crosses over to another car, the train's following cars disconnect, leaving Tea` to jump to Yami's car. Yami asks Tristan and the others to get help and the string of train cars stops quickly but they're in the middle of nowhere and discover Rex is also on board and he wants revenge. On board the other half of the train, Tea` tries contacting the conductor but there's no one in the cab so Yami tries to find a way into the cab and when he reaches the roof of the train car, Weevil is waiting for him, wanting a friendly duel to test out his new secret weapon, the same one Rex shows Joey and Tristan. Weevil wants to make Yami pay and won't reveal Yugi's location unless Yami agrees to duel. Yami agrees and so does Joey to duel Rex and Rex draws, activating The Seal of Orichalcos. Joey protests that he won't duel and is told that he doesn't have much choice. On board the speeding train, Weevil also draws and activates his copy of The Seal of Orichalcos. Next, he summons Pheromone Wasp (1300) in Attack Mode (I'm factoring the Seal's +500 ATK into the ATK of the monster when Summoned as usual). Then he sets 2 cards and ends his turn. Yami draws and summons Obnoxious Celtic Guardian (Obnoxious Celtic Guard in the CG) (1400) in Attack Mode and attacks, despite Tea`'s advice. Weevil responds with Mimesis, letting him return his PW to his hand and replace it with his Parasite Caterpillar (800) in Attack Mode, destroying it in OCG's attack and leaving Weevil down to 3900 but letting PC proceed to infect OCG. Back at Rex's duel, Rex plays Gilasaurus (1900) in Attack Mode before his turn begins. (The real card can be Special Summoned from your hand but not before your turn begins and lets your opponent Special Summon 1 monster from their Graveyard if the effect is used.) As a bonus, he has a second Gilasaurus and Kaitoptera (1900), both in Attack Mode. He sets 1 card and ends his turn. Joey draws and plays the only monster capable of defeating Rex's army, Panther Warrior (2000) in Attack Mode, then sets 1 card to end his turn. At Weevil's duel, Weevil plays Pheromone Wasp in Attack Mode again and since OCG can no longer defend Yami's LPs, Weevil attacks directly, bringing Yami down to 2700 LPs. Due to PW's effect, since it attacked directly, Weevil can play another Insect-Type monster from his Deck and chooses Leghul (800) in Attack Mode. Then he plays Insect Barrier to prevent all of Yami's Insect monsters from attacking. Yami draws and Dartz knows that Yami's soul is nearly in his own grasp as they have the perfect bait! |
