Episode 94: Enter Vector
One evening, Yuma finds himself racing to find Ray, whom is apparently in trouble and we get to see why as Ray is involved in a duel with an unknown individual. However, when Yuma arrives, Ray's duel with the unknown individual, revealed as Vector, departs and cancels the duel. Ray is determined to go after Vector and after explaining things to Yuma, Ray tells Yuma to protect this world while he's away and leaves after giving Yuma more Barian cards. Meanwhile, in Barian World, Dumon and Mizar learn from Vector that Girag and Alito haven't fully recovered and Vector decides to joke about their misfortunes. Mizar has had enough and tries to take his anger out on Vector bur just misses as it's not the time to be fighting.
However, Vector knows what he's doing and plans to get Yuma, Astral, Kite and Shark to meet their fate together. The next day, Yuma is so excited about his new cards that his secret is out quickly as his friends want to know about it. After school, the group decide to help Yuma by encouraging the Barians to come out from hiding. Sure enough, three of them do and literally make an impact in the ground as Vector appears before Yuma and friends. Yuma gets his friends out of the way before Vector activates a Barian Sphere Field to get Yuma to duel him. Not only did he possess Dr. Faker but he plans to destroy Astral World and the human world. Yuma has all the reasons he needs and gets duel preparations underway before Vector draws and plays Umbral Horror Ghoul (1800) in Attack Mode.
Next, he uses UHG's effect to make its ATK 0 and Special Summon Umbral Horror Unform (0000) from his hand in Attack Mode since it has 0 ATK. With that, he uses his monster as Xyz Material for Number 66: Master Key Beetle (2500) in Attack Mode. Worse still, he activates Magical Tomb to select 1 card in Yuma's Deck and seal it away and knowing that Yuma has a Barian card, Vector chooses to seal Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian's Force. Then, he uses Number 66's effect to detach an Xyz Material from itself and prevent MT's destruction by any means. Vector sets 1 card to end his turn, confident that without Limited Barian's Force, Yuma can't win. Yuma isn't discouraged for long and draws before playing Gagaga Magician (1500) in Attack Mode. Next, he uses Gagagawind to Special Summon Gagaga Girl (1000) in Attack Mode and increase its Level by 1.
Now he uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 39: Utopia (2500) in Attack Mode but since it's not enough, Yuma uses GG's effect to make Number 66's ATK 0 since GG was Xyz Material. His attack doesn't take out Number 66 but leaves Vector down to 1500 LPs as Vector uses Number 66's other effect to send MT to the Graveyard to prevent its own destruction in battle. As a result, Yuma and Astral will get Limited Barian's Force at the end of the turn but for now, Vector activates Corrupted Keys to Special Summon 3 Umbral Horror Mirage Tokens (0000 x3) in Attack Mode that have the same ATK as Number 66. Yuma ends his turn and get Limited Barian's Force added to his hand.
Vector draws and uses Umbral Horror Refresh to restore Number 66's ATK to its original ATK and gain that amount of LPs, giving him 2500 LPs to 4000 and giving the Umbral Horror Mirage Tokens 2500 ATK. (The real CK only adapts the Xyz Monster's ATK at the time they are Summoned so they'd be 0.) His attacks force Yuma to use Utopia's effect twice to detach 2 Xyz Materials and negate the first two attacks but the third destroys the Umbral Horror Mirage Token, letting Vector activate Umbral Horror Retaliation to destroy Utopia since it destroyed an Umbral Horror monster. Worse still, Vector attacks directly with Number 66, leaving Yuma down to 1500 LPs. With that, Vector ends his turn and Ray arrives to remind Yuma of the new cards he now has.
It's not clear to Astral what it means so Yuma draws and Summons V Salamander (1500) in Attack Mode. Next he uses its effect to Special Summon Number 39: Utopia from his Graveyard, a move that is one of many to shock Vector. Then, Yuma uses Rank-Up-Magic Limited Barian's Force to use Utopia as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray V (2600) in Attack Mode. Furthermore, Yuma uses VS effect to equip itself to Utopia Ray V, then proceeds to use Utopay Ray V's effect but since that doesn't matter, Yuma uses VS' other effect to make it destroy all of Vector's monsters and inflict the combined ATK to Vector as damage. (The real card deals only 1000 damage per destroyed monster.)
As a result, Vector loses but takes Ray with him before he goes and gives Yuma and Astral Number 66. Yuma will find Ray no matter what it takes!
