Episode 151: The Power Within (1)
At the top, Yubel/Jesse greets them and shows them what happened to Adrian, then tells Jaden he's next. Jaden tells YJ that his days of sending duelists to the stars are over and YJ warns not to get angry or he might turn evil and that there's nowhere he can run when the way out is through Yubel. Jaden's monster spirits invite him for a pep talk and it works. Can Jaden help Jesse before he destroys him? They'll find out as YJ takes his turn by playing Advanced Dark, and while Crowler has his memory jogged of what it does, YJ brings out Advanced Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle (1400) in Attack Mode, ending his turn. Jaden freezes in terror when he draws Polymerization and to everyone's surprise, he plays it to bring out Elemental Hero Flame Wingman (2100) in Attack Mode. He attacks, destroying Cobalt Eagle but because YJ used AD's effect, his score is unchanged. After seeing the vision of Rainbow Dark Dragon, Jaden ponders whether it's the key to unlocking Jesse's spirit, then sets 1 card to end his turn. Jesse questions why Jaden isn't saying anything as it's unlike him at all. Did he hit a nerve or perhaps Jaden is afraid of the truth. He begins by playing Advanced Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus (1800) in Attack Mode and uses its effect to put Advanced Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle in his Spell and Trap Zone, triggering its effect to put both Cobalt Eagle and Ruby in his Monster Card Zone. Next he equips ACBSP with Crystal Release, giving it 800 ATK to reach 2600. His attacks leave Jaden without monsters and down to 1800 LPs. Jaden's going to risk everything to free Jesse from Yubel's grip and Yubel is going to do everything it can to prevent that! Jaden begins by playing Neo-Spacian Grand Mole (900) in Attack Mode. Next he activates his face down Common Sacrifice card, sending YJ's weakest monsters to the Grave and letting Jaden play a Level 7 monster like Elemental Hero Neos (2500) in Attack Mode. His attack with Grand Mole on ACBSP leave YJ defenseless but trigger CR's effect to put 1 Crystal Beast in his Spell and Trap Zone like Advanced Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth. Since YJ still has no monsters to defend with, Jaden attacks directly with Neos, leaving YJ with 1500 but it's not hurting Yubel, only reminding it of the pain. He created it and now he wants to destroy it?! Jaden sets 1 card to end his turn. YJ draws, declaring an incredible defeat for Jaden before playing Advanced Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus and putting Advanced Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat in his Spell and Trap Zone by its effect. Next, he uses Crystal Beacon to bring out Advanced Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger (1600) in Attack Mode. Next, with 7 ACBs in his Grave or on his field, he summons Rainbow Dark Dragon (4000) in Attack Mode. Jaden tries to break through to Jesse but to no avail before YJ takes out Neos with RDD to leave Jaden briefly stunned and down to 300 LPs. Surprisingly, Jaden gets his call answered but YJ still has two more Crystal Beasts that can attack next turn (how about this turn?) and if the attack succeeds, it's over. Telling Jesse's spirit to hang on, Jaden assures he'll get him out somehow......someway....
