Leon draws, saying Yami is looking at the new international champion and activates Iron Cage, letting him send 1 monster on the field to the Graveyard and chooses his Iron Hans, returning his Iron Knight's ATK to 1700. His attacks destroy Yami's Obnoxious Celtic Guard(ian) and leave Yami down to 2500 LPs. He gives Yami a break and tells how the Fairy Tale cards came to be and a bit about his childhood. Yami draws and summons Queen's Knight (1500) in Attack Mode and takes out Leon's Forest Hunter, bringing Leon down to 3400 LPs. Next he sets 1 card to end his turn. Leon first uses IC's other effect to bring back Iron Hans. Next, he draws and uses IH's effect to summon a second Iron Knight and both IK's are down to 700 ATK by their effects. Then he uses Spinning Wheel Spindle, which Rebecca recalls seeing in her duel with Leon as a monster destruction card as it sends a monster on the field to the Graveyard, then brings it back 3 turns later but by then Leon will have won. He attacks but Yami activates Mirror Force to destroy all of Leon's monsters since they're all in Attack Position. Kaiba smirks that Leon got a tough break but Zigfried notes that his family has a way of toying with their opponents before destroying them. Leon draws and uses Water of Life to revive Iron Hans, which in turn brings out Iron Knight in Attack Mode. Yami draws and activates Pot of Greed, then Special Summons Watapon (200) in Defense Mode by its effect since it moved from his deck to his hand with an effect (No, it was drawn by a card effect as drawing involves using the top cards whereas moving can be anywhere and is picked up. The real card only works if it's added to the hand from your deck by an effect.). Next he tributes Watapon for Dark Magician Girl (2000) in Attack Mode to Leon's delight. Now Leon has to destroy her but not if she destroy him first and Yami attacks and destroys IK with her attack, leaving Leon down to 2100 LPs. Leon draws and uses Pot of Greed, calling it fate that he drew the same card Yami played last turn and his result leaves him in shock as it's the card Zigfried gave him, recalling how he got it and gives in to Zigfried's urges to play Golden Castle of Stromberg, which has Solomon and Professor Hawkins in shock. Yami heard about the card but assumed it wasn't released but Professor Hawkins and Solomon know about it and it doesn't go without hitch in Kaiba's control room, though it's only minor interference. Due to GCoS' effect, Leon can play a Level 4 or less monster and chooses Cinderella (300) in Attack Mode, which in turn brings out Pumpkin Carriage (800) in Defense Mode and lets Leon equip her with Glass Slippers. Next he attacks directly with Cinderella, leaving Yami down to 2200 LPs. Then, due to GS's effect, it moves to Yami's DMG, lowering its ATK by 1000 to 1000. Kaiba asks where Zigfried got it but Zigfried decides to play dumb. Professor Hawkins and Solomon discuss it actually being the Golden Castle of Stromberg, one of several cards never officially released and Solomon remembers a tournament having the card as a prize that was forbidden in tournament play. Kaiba asks Zigfried is aware that Leon played an illegal card and suspects who deactvated the Card Limiter but Zigfried says it's just a strong card and isn't illegal because it was accepted by the Duel Disk. Nevertheless, Kaiba lets the duel go, knowing that the tournament would otherwise be pointless and his reputation would fall if the duel was stopped. Leon maintains that his brother wouldn't lie to him and Zigfried tries backing him up but Yami figures out that Kaiba's Duel Disks were reprogrammed to accept an illegal card but the most powerful card is on the field and can't be stopped. Leon refuses to live his dream by cheating and uses Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy GCoS but it stays on the field thanks to a few changes Zigfried made but it was more than that as he unlocked the most devastating virus ever created and it's deleting Kaiba's files as they speak. Leon proceeds to quit but Yami insists on continuing the duel to figure out the card's weakness and they don't have much time! |
