Outside, the gang leave Joey's dueling site as Tristan owes Duke a steak and go to see Rebecca Hawkins face-off against Vivian Wong. Solomon is so excited about the tournament he throws his back out of alignment and while the rest watch the rest of the tournament, Professor Hawkins agrees to watch over him and Mokuba calls for help. Meanwhile, Rex and Weevil find their ticket in but Weevil has to convince Rex to go through with the plan as they tie up the original opponent and dress in his outfit, struggling to walk.

Rebecca and Vivian trade insults and wait for the Blue-Eyes White Train to pass before beginning as Vivian plays Kung-Fu Nyan Nyan (1700) in Attack Mode. Rebecca plays Graceful Charity to draw 3 cards and discard 2. Oops! At 5:30 into the US episode, Marie the Fallen One (far left) is a Normal monster when we'll see later it's an Effect Monster! Next he summons Fire Princess (1300) in Attack Mode and sets 2 cards to end her turn. The rest of the gang find the duel on a walkway and Rebecca waves but is cut off by Vivian and Yugi remains shocked and embarrassed while Tea` is seeing why she needs more female friends. Vivian draws and KFNN gains 300 ATK (since it didn't attack last turn but they don't tell you that), raising its ATK to 2000. Next she summons Master Kyonshee (1750) in Attack Mode and attacks but Rebecca activates Gravity Bind, preventing Vivian from attacking with any Level 4 or higher monster she has (it actually affects both players as the card's "effects" show).

Rebecca draws, gaining 200 LPs by Marie the Fallen One's effect, raising her score up to 4200 but this also triggers Fire Princess' effect to deal Vivian 500 damage since Rebecca gained LPs, bringing Vivian's score down to 3500. Rebecca sets 1 card to end her turn and Kaiba is worried that things are running as planned as he'd expected the hacker to strike again, then realizes the hacker could be in the tourny and orders Roland to run background checks of the competitors. Vivian draws and uses Mystical Space Typhoon to hopefully destroy Gravity Bind but Rebecca is ready with Imperial Order, negating MST's effect and preventing Vivian from using Spell Cards (you're also included in IO's effect). Furthermore, she activates Scapegoat, receiving 4 Goat Tokens and leaving Tristan to wonder what happened and doesn't get any help from his friends. (Chains work as follows: When you activate a card effect, that's chain link 1 and any responses are added to that, creating chain links 2, 3 and so on. In this case, Scapegoat was chained to IO, which hasn't yet taken effect on the players and, being chain link 2, isn't stopped by IO, chain link 1.)

Vivian draws and summons Gyaku-Gire Panda (800) in Attack Mode, a Level 3 monster that gains 500 ATK for each of Rebecca's monsters, raising its ATK to 3300. She attacks with it, destroying one of Rebecca's Goat Tokens and bringing Rebecca down to 900 LPs and lowering GGP's ATK to 2800. First she disposes of IO by not paying its 700 LP cost (which they also neglected to mention), then gains 200 LPs by MtFO's effect, raising her score to 1100 and dealing Vivian another 500 damage by FP's effect, bringing her down to 3000 and fuming. Next, Rebecca activates Token Thanksgiving, destroying her Goat Tokens to raise her LPs by 800 for each one, giving her score a 2400 point boost to 3500 and triggering FP's effect again, leaving Vivian down to 2500 LPs. Now she summons Injection Fairy Lily (400) in Attack Mode and pays 2000 LPs to raise its ATK by 3000, putting her down to 1500 and IFL up to 3400. Her attack on GGP destroys it and leaves Vivian down to 900 LPs. Vivian knows this is her last chance and draws, playing Luminous Cloud to tribute her remaining monsters for Dragon Lady (2500) in Attack Mode. Due to DL's effect, each turn it doesn't attack, Vivian can destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card and destroys GB. Furthermore, she activates Mystic Eruption to deal Rebecca 1000 damage since she lost a Spell or Trap card this turn, bringing her score down to 500. Rebecca draws and her FP-MtFO combo leaves her up to 700 and Vivian down to 500. Next she tributes her 2 monsters for Guardian Angel Joan (2800) in Attack Mode. Then she uses Silent Doom to revive Fire Princess. (The real SD can only bring back Normal Monsters.) Her attack destroys DL, leaving Vivian down to 100 LPs and triggering GAJ's effect to give Rebecca's score a boost equal to DL's ATK, raising her score to 3200. Lastly, FP's effect activates, taking out Vivian's remaining LPs to win Rebecca the duel.

The gang move to the TV and find other matches have ended but Zigfried and Fortune Salem is about to begin and said opponent, which is actually Rex and Weevil, makes their way to their side but falls over. Mokuba is about to give them the boot but Zigfried decides to let them duel anyway as he wore his favorite suit and would be disappointing to win by forfeit. Weevil begins by summoning Pinch Hopper (1000) in Attack Mode. Next he activates Aerosal (either the artwork or the name is wrong here because that card was called Eradicating Aerosol and is what I think the card is as will be noted below) to destroy his PH and activate its effect to bring out Insect Queen (2200) in Attack Mode, which gets 200 ATK per Insect in play, raising its ATK to 2400. Rex draws and plays Balloon Lizard (500) in Attack Mode. Next he uses Ultra Evolution (Ultra Evolution Pill in the CG) to tribute BL for Black Tyranno (2600) in Attack Mode.

Zigfried draws and activates Ride of the Valkyries to bring out 2 Valkyrie Zwei and 2 Valkyrie Erste (1600 x4) in Attack Mode. Their effects resolve, leaving Rex and Weevil defenseless to take the battle damage and to Kaiba's shock, Zigfried has won in just one turn!
