Episode 108: Primo's Plan (3)
At the duel, Yusei comes to grips with Primo's transformation but it's only the beginning as Primo smashes one side of the barrier and is convinced that he was wrong for thinking he got the tablet for being special as Yusei had just figured out that Primo is part of Illyaster. While Bruno handles the Duel Bot army, Yusei draws and discards Quillbolt Hedgehog (whom is a LIGHT monster at 5:05 into the US episode) to Special Summon Quickdraw Synchron (700) in Attack Mode, then Quillbolt Hedgehog (800) in Attack Mode since he controls a Tuner. Then he plays Needle Soldier (100) in Attack Mode and uses his monsters as Synchro Material (while making QS Junk Synchron by it effect) for Junk Destroyer (2600) in Attack Mode.
Then he uses JD's effect to destroy Meklord Emperor Wisel Infinity and the face down card but Primo activates Divergence to divert the target to another piece. He chooses Wisel Carrier, which can't be destroyed once per turn so Divergence is the only card destroyed. Nevertheless, Yusei then attacks MEWI but Primo makes Wisel Carrier the attack target but since NS was Synchro Material and JD was stronger, Primo takes the difference as Battle Damage, bringing him down to 2600 LPs. Yusei sets 2 cards to end his turn and in their lair, Lester is outraged that Yusei of all people gets a stone tablet but Jacob says to watch the duel for the outcome determines if they needs to be concerned.
Primo is very angry and unleashes dozens of lightning strikes that cause power outages throughout and even Bruno and Jack notice them. Elsewhere, Sherry finally comes to and Trudge feels something big is responsible for the outages. In her bed, Akiza awakens and remembers how she got here but can't make sense of what's going on outside her window. Back at the duel, Primo draws and summons Wisel Guard 3 (2000) in Defense Mode and attaches it to MEWI. Next, he uses MEWI's effect to take JD but Yusei counters with Star Shift to exchange it with Stardust Dragon (2500) in Attack Mode. Unwilling to attack, Primo sets 1 card to end his turn, stating that Yusei's peril has only just begun.
Meanwhile, the noise has one little girl frightened and Akiza comforts, her, learning that her name is Halluna (if I spelled that right) and is a duelist. While Akiza would love to have a match with her, Yusei draws and summons Bicular (200) in Defense Mode. Next he uses Emerging Awakening to remove SD from play until the next Standby Phase and deal Primo damage equal to its Level x 100, bringing Primo down by 800 to 1800. Next, he sets 1 card to end his turn, passing Primo in the process. Primo draws, angry that Yusei is passing him and uses Explosive Blast to destroy Wisel Carrier and deal Yusei 400 damage, leaving Yusei down to 3600 LPs. Next he summons Skiel Carrier 3 (600) in Attack Mode and attaches it to MEWI.
Yusei knows that Skiel is what Luna and Leo fought against earlier but Lester is surprised and confirms that Primo stole his card. Regardless, Primo tributes SC3 for Skiel Carrier 5 (800) in Attack Mode, which is then attached to MEWI and raises MEWI to 2500 ATK. Yusei's question about having twice the power is confirmed as both he and Bruno feel quite the jolt. Primo's attack destroys Bicular and leaves Yusei down to 3300 by SC5's effect. However, this also lets Yusei Special Summon Unicycular (100) in Defense Mode but Primo sets 1 card to end his turn. Yusei draws and Stardust Dragon returns to his field with 800 more ATK to 3300 by EA's effect.

Bruno knows what's coming but Primo doesn't so Yusei summons Turbo Synchron (100) in Attack Mode and uses it (which is a Tuner) and Unicycular as Synchro Material for Formula Synchron (1500) in Defense Mode.
Next, Yusei uses its effect to draw 1 card. (The real card only allows this the instant it's Synchro Summoned.) Primo decides to destroy more of the city but Yusei goes for the Accel Synchro but it fails for reasons that escape Bruno and Yusei. Yusei won't allow any further damage to come and attacks but Primo uses the other effect of SC5 to negate the attack. With nothing left to do, Yusei ends his turn so Primo draws and uses MEWI's effect to absorb Stardust Dragon, raising its ATK to 5000. Now Yusei will be struck down by Primo!
