Episode 107: Primo's Plan (2)
At the duel, Yusei knows he can't keep taking hits and takes one from one of the Duel Bot's many Ally Salvos, bringing his score down to 2000. On another track, Bruno watches and remembers that his only reason for being is to keep Yusei safe before deciding to join in. He retrieves his Duel Runner and takes to the track Yusei is on and summons Tech Genus Blade Blaster (3300) in Attack Mode. Next he equips it with Buster Blaster to lower its ATK by 500 to 2800 but allowing it to take out the same monster type as one its host destroys. With that, he takes out all the Ally Salvos, then tells Yusei to keep up as it's the only way to get rid of the Duel Bots. However, Primo isn't willing to allow this and gets on his Duel Runner to give chase.
Nevertheless, Bruno intercepts and knocks Primo's Duel Runner away and orders Yusei to Accel Synchro. After some coaching, Yusei manages to achieve it and a tablet drops from above. Yusei finds himself in the area where the tablet landed and finds its crater (though the tablet isn't edited for the US as shown at 12:05 into the episode). After touching the tablet, Yusei is moved to the blank room where he and the others first encountered it. It tells Yusei about the card but Yusei has to choose the path he thinks is right and it disappears. While Yusei figures out what it meant, Primo and Bruno duel where Primo draws and plays Wise Core (0000) in Defense Mode before setting 1 card to end his turn.
Bruno figures the face down card will destroy WC when he attacks and draws before Special Summoning Tech Genus Striker (800) in Attack Mode since Primo is the only one with monsters. Next, he Special Summons Tech Genus Warwolf (1200) in Attack Mode since he Special Summoned a Level 2 or lower monster. Since T.G. Striker is a Tuner (which they don't tell you), Bruno uses his monsters as Synchro Material for Tech Genus Power Gladiator (2300) in Attack Mode. Primo isn't impressed so Bruno plays Tech Genus Rush Rhino (1600) in Attack Mode. His attack prompts Primo to activate Twin Vortex to destroy TGPG by destroying WC. This activates TGPG's effect to let Bruno draw 1 card. Next, due to WC's effect, Primo Special Summons Meklord Emperor Wisel Infinity (0000), Wisel Top (500), Wisel Attack (1200) and Wisel Carrier (800) in Attack Mode and Wisel Guard (1200) in Defense Mode.
With that done, Primo combines them to summon Meklord Emperor Wisel (2500) in Attack Mode. Bruno isn't scared and sets 2 cards to end his turn. Primo draws and takes out TGRR to not only leave Bruno down to 3100 LPs but let Bruno add another TGRR from his Deck to his hand by TGRR's effect. (The real card can get any T.G. monster except Rush Rhino.) Confident that Bruno can't defeat MEW, Primo sets 2 cards to end his turn. Bruno draws and plays T.G. Cyber Magician (0000) in Attack Mode. Due to its effect, Bruno can use Synchro Materials in his hand so he uses it and the TGRR in his hand as Synchro Material (since TGCM is a Tuner) for Tech Genus Wonder Magician (1900) in Attack Mode. Next, he uses Double Type Rescue, letting him Special Summon a monster from his Graveyard since he controls 2 different types of monsters. (The real TGWM is only a Spellcaster-Type monster.)
With DTR's effect, Bruno Special Summons Tech Genus Power Gladiator in Attack Mode. Right as he's about to Accel Synchro, the Duel Bots return and one of them summons Ally Salvo (400) in Attack Mode and attacks with it, destroying it but letting the Duel Bot destroy 2 of Bruno's cards. Suddenly, Yusei appears and while Bruno takes care of the Duel Bots, he asks Yusei to take care of Primo. Just as Primo is about to continue, Jacob and Lester warn not to continue due to Yusei's new power. Primo ignores it and merges with his Duel Runner. Yusei won't escape this time!
