Episode 78: Dawn of the Duel Board (2)
At the duel, Lester gloats on how his monster will soon show its abilities and Jacob assures Primo that things are not getting out of hand, which is more than what he can say for Primo at times. Not far behind are Jack and Yusei but they aren't alone either as Akiza and Crow pull up behind them and Yusei thinks they'll need their help. Leo draws, thinking it'll come in handy when he's attacked directly and sets 1 card to end his turn. Lester draws and activates Trap Stun to prevent all other Trap Cards from being activated this turn. Next he attacks Leo directly with Machine Emperor Skiel to leave Leo down to 1800 LPs.
Luna draws and summons Sunlight Unicorn (1800) in Attack Mode. Then she uses Spore's effect to remove from play Nettles in her Graveyard to Special Summon itself and increase its Level by the removed monster's Level, making it Level 3. Then she uses her monsters as Synchro Material for Ancient Fairy Dragon (2100) in Attack Mode. With that done, she uses AFD's effect to Special Summon Fairy Archer (600) in Defense Mode. After that, she uses FA's effect to deal 400 damage to Lester for each of her LIGHT monsters, leaving Lester down by 800 to 3200. Lester doesn't feel any pain so Luna sets 2 cards to end her turn. Lester draws and uses MES' effect to absorb AFD and raise its ATK to 4300.
Worse still, Leo realizes that they're dueling the same Lester from school.Next, Lester activates Speed Spell - Summon Close to prevent Luna and Leo from Special Summoning this turn since he himself has at least 4 Speed Counters. His direct attack prompts Luna to activate Twinkle Wall to negate the attack and take damage equal to half the attacking monster's ATK, leaving her down to 350 LPs. Lester sets 1 card to end his turn so Leo draws and summons Morphtronic Scopen (800) in Attack Mode. Then since Scopen is in Attack Mode, Leo uses that effect to Special Summon the Level 4 Morphtronic Boomboxen (1200) in Attack Mode. Then he uses his monsters as Synchro Material for Power Tool Dragon (2300) in Attack Mode. Since it won't be enough, Leo uses Speed Spell - Summon Speeder to Special Summon Morphtronic Vacuumen (0000) in Defense Mode since he has at least 4 Speed Counters. Now he uses MV's effect to take Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity but Lester activates Convert Ghost to make Leo's monster equip itself with a monster from his own Graveyard instead.

With nothing left to do, Leo sets 1 card to end his turn. Lester draws but Leo activates Power Break to return all Equip Cards on the field to their owner's Decks and deal 500 damage to Lester for each Equip Card returned, freeing AFD and leaving MEW down to 2200 while leaving Lester down to 2200 LPs. (The real card can only shuffle your own Equip Cards and only up to 3.) Lester decides to play rough as well by using Speed World 2's effect to lose all 7 of his Speed Counters to draw 1 card. Next he activates Sky A3 to send SA to the Grave for Skiel Attack 3 (1200) in Attack Mode, which then equipped to MEW, raising its ATK to 2400. Then he tributes SA3 for Skiel Attack 5 (1400) in Attack Mode, raising MEW's ATK to 2600. Due to SA5's effect, MEW can attack directly and Lester does so on Leo, defeating him and sending him falling over the edge of the bridge.

However, the Signer marks ban together to bring out the Crimson Dragon to save Leo. Lester sets 1 card to end his turn, claiming that Luna won't be as lucky as her brother was. Luna draws and plays Regulus (1700) in Attack Mode. Next, she uses Ancient Sunshine to remove from play the AFD in her Grave and deal Lester damage equal to its ATK since Regulus is on the field. However, Lester counters with Infinity Force to make the effect damage 0 and destroy all of Luna's monsters since he controls an Infinity monster. Lester draws and attacks the now defenseless Luna  but as the attack connects, Luna's Duel Spirits put up a valiant effort to protect her but allow Lester to win the duel. Nevertheless, Luna and her Duel Spirits survive as Akzia concludes that the spirits were just strong enough to withstand the attack. After Lester disappears from sight, Luna and Leo show the others the mansion but it's nowhere to be found and none of the students ever remember Lester at all. They'll have to master Accel Synchros or face certain doom!
