Episode 51: A Whale of a Ride (1)
At the duel, Luna's attack with Ancient Fairy Dragon wins her the duel and Devak vanishes but not before making a final attempt to take Luna and Leo with him. With that, the spirits are free and Yuse's commending to Leo, leaves Leo more than happy. Trudge doesn't know what to make of the appearing Duel Spirits but faints once they respond to his remark. However, it's not over yet as the Dark Signers must be vanquished completely. The trio enter the tower and initiate the tower's collapse into the ground before returning outside. Trudge regains consciousness and is left confused when lead to believe the tower was never there to begin with. He's in dire need of sleep and Yusei declares that he gets the next tower to settle his score with Kalin.

Meanwhile, Roman becomes aware of Devak's demise and goes to set Greiger free from his imprisonment. He takes Greiger to an area right above the gateway to the Netherworld. Greiger is as angry about what Goodwin did to the village as he is about it now and is dropped into the gateway to the Netherworld to become a Dark Signer. Roman tells Greiger to finish what he started and take down Yusei Fudo, the duelist responsible for stopping Greiger from taking down Goodwin and Greiger heads to the streets where Yusei is heading.Elsewhere, Crow comes out of a white refrigerator of sorts and comes to grips with where he is and what happened. Realizing his family may be in danger, he races off. Much to his dismay, after getting the illusion that they're all okay, Crow discovers his worst fears. Standing at the edge of the uncompleted bridge, he discovers the mark of the Dark Signers and races off to find Greiger, whom is in no mood to see Crow.

Crow isn't willing to let Greiger by despite Greiger's determination and adds an electromagnetic device that'll self-destruct if Greiger doesn't accept. Naturally, Greiger agrees and duel preparations get underway.Miles away, Yusei and crew see the mark of a whale and go to see what it's all about. Back at the duel-to-be, Crow reveals that it's just his alarm clock and the race is initiated. Crow ends up winning and takes his turn by playing Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame (1800) in Attack Mode and sets 1 card to end his turn. Greiger draws and summons Trap Reactor YFI (800) in Attack Mode. Next he uses Diving Exploder's effect to discard it and switch the ATK and DEF of all monsters on the field, making YFI's ATK 1800 and Shura's ATK 1200. His attack takes out Shura and leaves Crow down to 3400 and plummeting off the roadway. It might be Crow's last duel ever!
