Inside, Leo has gone full Luna, minus her voice and personality and it's approved but Luna wants no embarrassment. Yusei doesn't like the makeup and Leo agrees to remove it if Yusei says his name, which he agrees to some other time. Tanner is suspicious about the Fortune Cup's motive and mentally warns Yusei to watch his back. At the Fortune Cup, the MC makes his appearance and announces the participants' appearance as well. However, the crowd doesn't like a Satellite duelist being there and chant to have him removed but Greiger steps in to say that although Yusei is looked down upon by everyone else, he himself sees Yusei as a duelist and therefore one should judge by their spirit. The crowd and Goodwin approve of Greiger's speech and Goodwin adds a speech of his own. Later, he heads inside to learn about the D-tector, a device that will indicate when a Signer appears. With the participants chosen, the wait in a room (and at 7:49 into the US episode, Akiza's bust remains unchanged here, compared to much of the time she appears). After a quick sponsor, Greiger and "Luna" take their places on the field.

The two shake hands and Greiger notes the strong grip his opponent has but the real Luna is fuming on Leo's non-Luna behavior. Nevertheless, the duel gets underway as Greiger activates Star Blast to pay 500 Life Points and make one of his monsters 1 level less. With that, he Normal Summons the now Level 4 Summon Reactor SK (2000) in Attack Mode (and at 9:40 into the US episode, it has 2000 LPs). He sets 1 card to end his turn. Leo draws and summons Morphtronic Celfon (100) in Attack Mode, triggering SRSK's effect to deal him 800 damage, bringing his score down to 3200. Next Leo uses Celfon's effect to pick up cards from his deck equal to his monster's result. Celfon yields a 2, and Leo's cards yield Morphtronic Boomboxen (400) in Defense Mode. Finally he sets 1 card to end his turn, confident that it'll be quite the surprise for Greiger should he summon and attack with a monster.

Zigzix is not getting any signal at all from his D-tector but Luna is not feeling so well all of a sudden but assures Dexter it's just a headache. Greiger draws and plays Trap Reactor Y FI (800) in Attack Mode and attacks with it, prompting Leo to activate Morphtransition to negate the attack and put Celfon to Defense Mode, activating TRY FI's effect to deal 800 damage to Leo since he activated a Trap, bringing Leo's score down to 2400. Zigzix is not having any luck with the D-tector but a signal proves otherwise. Back at the duel, Greiger activates Damage Summon to pay 800 LPs and Special Summon Spell Reactor RE (1200) in Attack Mode, bringing his score down to 2700. Then he attacks MB with SRSK but MB's effect negates the attack since it's in Defense Mode. His second attack on MB with SRRE destroys MB and now Leo is backed into a corner. Lazar learns that a faint signal has been picked up from within the audience.

As the duel rages on, Luna's headache gets worse as Leo uses Celfon's Defense Mode effect to see what cards he has coming up. Next he switches Celfon to Attack Mode and uses its Attack Mode effect to Special Summon Morphtronic Datatron (1200) in Attack Mode, dealing himself 800 damage, leaving his score down to 1600 by SRSK's effect. Next he uses its effect to tribute Celfon and deal Greiger 600 damage to leave Greiger down to 2100. Then he tributes MD for Gadget Hauler (1300) in Attack Mode. Now he uses GH's effect to discard Morphtronic Magnen and raise its own ATK by 800 to 2100. Then he uses Factory of 100 Machines to remove from play all his Morphtronics in his Grave and raise GH's ATK by 200 for each one, raising its ATK to 2900. However, SRRE's effect activates, leaving Leo down to 800 LPs.

He attacks and takes out TRYFI and Zigzix finds the true Signer in the audience but Greiger activates Delta Reactor to send his 3 monsters to the Graveyard and not only negate the attack but summon Flying Fortress SKYFIRE (3000) in Attack Mode. (The real card is Special Summoned by SRSK's effect.) He uses FFSF's effect to discard 1 card and destroy Leo's GH. His direct attack wins him the duel. As quickly as it came on, Luna's headache is no more.Inside, Greiger gets praised by Lazar and learns of the fact that Luna and Leo are twins and switched places. Goodwin learns that Luna is where the signal is coming from and they just need to push her to her limits.
