Episode 102: Hands of Justice (1)

Still at the duel site where Aster and Sartorius previously dueled, Aster tells Jaden that it's up to him now and disintegrates to dust, then reappears on Arcana, the Goddess of Judgment as Sartorius says she needs both keys to be balanced or Aster will fall. Meanwhile, Several duels end as Sheppard wishes the remaining participants good luck and of course needs Jaden to see him through this tournament. Elsewhere, Crowler and Bonaparte have also lost their duels and Crowler objects to the two of them staying there forever as he's lost all feeling below his chest.

Several Society of Light students run over them. The members are then confronted with Chazz's own group and they begin to have a brawl. Zane, meanwhile, defeats an opponent in one move but decides to give away the medal to his mysterious visitor. Back at the duel site, Jaden decides to hand over the key to save Aster but now Sartorius doesn't need to duel Jaden. He attempts to get the keys with his LoD powers but Neos blocks him so they're dueling after all but none of this surprises Sartorius. The statue isn't real right? Prince Ojin and Linda show, saying it's real.

Just outside DA, it is announced that Chazz defeated all the SoL members single handedly. Alexis questions whether or not Chazz was defeated by Jaden. Chazz says the duel didn't count (hypothetically, he's right since no medals were involved, it was just about setting Chazz free). She then ponders that maybe Chazz was right, since her memory is still a blur. The visitor shows again, saying that Chazz doesn't have all the medals and asks what the prize is, which is a kiss from Dorothy and a reasonable additional prize of whatever they want. The visitor reveals herself as Blair, the Zane fan from last year that tried to sneak into Obelisk Blue.

The duel with Sartorius and Jaden finally begins as Jaden plays Elemental Hero Bubbleman (0800) in Attack Mode, then draws twice by its effect. (" ") Next he equips it with Bubble Blaster, raising its ATK to 1600. Sartorius summons Arcana Force VII - The Chariot (1700) in Attack Mode, whose effect ends up being Heads and he attacks with it but Bubbleman survives by Bubble Blaster's effect. Next, Sartorius plays Divination of Fate, letting him play an Arcana Force monster since his opponent's monster survived the attack and he chooses Arcana Force VI - The Lovers (1600) in Defense Mode, whose effect also lands on Heads.

Jaden uses E - Emergency Call to pick up an Elemental Hero (though he doesn't say which one). (Hm, at 13:41 into both versions of the episode, there's no Double Fusion in his hand, though he plays it shortly after.) Next he plays Double Fusion, which for 500 LPs, lets him Fusion Summon twice and he uses it to bring out Elemental Hero Flame Wingman (2100) in Attack Mode. Then, he brings out Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman (2500) by sending Sparkman and Flame Wingman to the Grave. SFW gets 300 ATK per Elemental Hero in his Grave, raising its ATK to 3700. He attacks and destroys The Chariot with SFW, leaving Sartorius with 2000, then to 300 by SFW's effect.

Jaden draws and  plays Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird (0600) in Defense Mode and uses its effect to gain 500 x the number of cards in Sartorius' hand (3), putting his LPs at 5000. Sartorius plays Light Barrier, negating the effects of all non Arcana Force monsters, returning SFW's ATK to 2500. (The real card doesn't have this effect).

He possesses Ojin and orders him to take the keys, which in turn tips the scale but Hassleberry grabs Aster's body to safety.

Next, he tells Syrus and Linda to watch over the Aster body while he himself goes after Ojin but Linda decides to follow. In mere moments, everyone on Earth with worship Sartorius! Neos, however tells Jaden he can still stop Sartorius but Jaden must hurry and fades away. Jaden says it's over for Sartorius but Sartorius just laughs evilly along with his LoD.
