Episode 212: Village of Vengeance (4)

At the RPG table, Dark Bakura suggests Yami win quickly as the hourglass is now half empty. Inside Egypt, Magus continues trying to coax Seto to become the new Pharaoh but Seto remains convinced that Magus is not his father and Yami and Hasan back up his claim but Magus protests that Seto is his flesh and blood, making him royalty and shouldn't let the others fool him. Meanwhile, Kaiba is making his way down the steps, passing Bakura, whom is pretty well passed out and realizes their rematch will have to wait. At the bottom, he finds Yugi and the gang also out of it. As he gazes at the stone carving from the Domino City museum, the Millennium Eye in his hand activates and shows him the ancient past and he finally realizes that Seto is him. Yami continues reasoning with Seto but Magus remembers those words uttered by Yami's father, whom nearly destroyed Egypt, remembering how he was the one that cared for the area's safety. His instincts were right and they were ready when the enemy attacked but Yami's father got all the credit. With the Millennium Items, the old enemy was stopped but Zorc was born and he'll finish what he himself started and make way for a new Pharaoh. Shimon and Yami see that Magus is too blinded to realize the truth about what happened.

It was Aknaden that guided Seto through his training and we see how that unfolded. Seto was destined to wield the power of the White Dragon and his eyes glow briefly before Magus attacks. Magus is doing this to give Seto what he himself never had, power and respect. Once again, Seto's eyes glow and he moves towards Magus as Kisara awakens. However, the glow disappears and Seto is trapped between the side wanting him to stay and the side wanting him to join his father. Magus unleashes his rage on Yami but Hasan intervenes. Kisara calls out to Seto and he hears her as she runs towards him with Tristan/Bakura knowing what'll happen once she gets to him and finds Bobasa, trying to learn his role but Yugi and crew arrive with Joey protesting how bad Tristan is doing. Tristan wants to leave Bobasa behind and Joey agrees but Yugi is willing to help him instead and they go off to find some food. At last they find some and slowly move Bobasa to the source of some grapes. Once finished, Bobasa inflates like a balloon and welcomes them aboard on a trip to nowhere specific and Tristan/Bakura realizes that Bobasa is there as a shortcut.

As they make their way to the Valley of the Kings, Egyptian Bakura's men go after them and Bobasa recites a flight attendant's typical lines. They land and Tristan/Bakura is the first off to destroy the Pharaoh's name while Yugi and his group discuss how not hungry they are. Bobasa realizes that he was there to help them out and now must go and disappears. At the RPG table, DB realizes that Yugi's friends have done better than expected but it's time to add another twist to their game. However, he needs some extra strength from the outside and brings Kaiba to Egypt before using his soul to resurrect his Egyptian self. They're just in time to see the rise of Zorc the dark one and their own farewell performance!
