Episode 101: Isolated in Cyber Space (3)

At the duel, Gansley figures Yami will give up but when Yami doesn't, Gansley draws Rainbow Snake Eingana, which is strong enough to win the duel but he decides to drag the duel out a bit by playing Melchid the Four-Face Beast (1500) in Attack Mode and takes out Yami's Obnoxious Celtic Guardian/Obnoxious Celtic Guard, causing Yami to collapse. Meanwhile, Tea` awakens to the pain on her face, confused as to why, given that she couldn't touch the flower but hopes her friends are better off.Yami draws Rainbow Blessing, thinking it's not going to help but Kuriboh's actions tell Yugi that the card may in fact be useful, setting it face down for his turn. Joey isn't having any luck getting a duel underway while Tea` concludes that she's the Hitotsu-Me Giants' meal of the day when a rope drops down from above as a penguin is there to help but Tea` isn't so sure. Elsewhere, after a bit of a struggle, Kaiba pulls Mokuba back onto virtual solid ground and as they walk away, he tells Mokuba not to look back into the past.

Back at the duel, Gansley tells Yami the end is near, drawing and playing Offerings to the Doomed (which has gotten an overhaul of a change as shown at 8:53 into the US episode), letting him destroy any monster on Yami's field and he chooses Chimera. However, this triggers Chimera's effect, letting Yami bring back either of its Fusion Materials and Yami chooses Berfomet (1400) in Attack Mode (at least it looks that way, given we don't see the card or any indication from the monster itself). Next, Gansley tributes his 2 monsters for Rainbow Snake Eingana (2200) in Attack Mode and uses its attack to take out Berformet. Tea` meanwhile is making her way up the rope provided by the penguin and when the HGs discover this, they aren't too happy. Yami's LPs are wide open and Gansley attacks directly with Ruclamba the Spirit King but Yami, now Yugi uses Kuriboh's Deck Master ability and explains that his LPs were spared because of that and figured Yami could use a rest from the direct attacks. Suddenly, Yugi collapses and Yami agrees to take over, protesting that the duel isn't over but Kuriboh is now on the field, letting Gansley attack it and it's no match for his monsters.

Tea` makes it to the top but with the HGs still coming, she makes a run for it, narrowly dodging an axe thrown by one of the HGs. She finds herself cornered until she spots a bridge. The bridge doesn't look very sturdy but she remembers her friendship bond and begins walking across. However, the HGs start across once Tea` is halfway to the other side and the bridge is beginning to give way. After a few more steps, the bridge can take no more and splits in half, dumping the HGs into the river below and leaving Tea` to climb the half she's hung onto straight to the other side of the valley.

Still dueling, Yami warns not to misjudge the weak and activates his face down Rainbow Blessing card in combination with his Deck Master. Next, he plays Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight (2300) in Attack Mode (leaving out that its effect allows it to be Normal Summoned without tributes if the only card in your hand, which is true in Yami's case). His attack is directly thanks to RB's effect and Gansley's Deck Master ability can't stop it so Yami wins the duel, leaving Gansley trapped forever. Noah realizes that either Yami is stronger than anticipated or that the Big Five are weaker than claimed so he'll have to see how the others fair. A door opens and Yami enters, hoping they aren't too late.
