Episode 51: The Mystery Duelist (2)

At the duel inside the warehouse, Bandit Keith tells Yugi to make a move for it's over for him. Nothing he has can stand up to Bandit Keith's Zera the Mant. Yugi draws and sets a monster. It's just as CM figured, Yugi's deck is weak. He may have defeated BK in Duelist Kingdom (where did you hear that? It was JOEY that defeated him during that time) but dueling himself will be a more difficult challenge. BK draws and plays Seiyaryu (2500) in Attack Mode then exchanges a Ground Attacker Bugroth card in hand for a Magic Jammer in sleeve and sets said card face down. Then he plays Stop Defense to force Yugi's face down Koumori Dragon (1500) to Attack Mode and destroy it by attacking, leaving Yugi down to 400 LPs (and indicating that KD is still being used with 1700 ATK as the difference in ATKs is actually 1300 but Yugi took only 1100 damage). Yugi sets another monster in Defense Mode and now it's getting boring for BK, whom attacks and destroys Yugi's hidden Mystical Elf (2000) in Defense Mode, then sets 2 cards face down and switching Zera the Mant to Defense Mode.

Yugi sets 1 card and plays Dark Magician (2100) in Defense Mode and tries hiding him with Magical Hats (which of course is a Trap Card in the CG). However, BK saw that coming and (during his turn) activates Magic Jammer to discard 1 card and negate the effect (You have to activate the card in direct response to the Spell Card in the CG). Next he activates Curse of Fiend, switching monsters into their opposite battle positions, putting Seiyaryu in Defense Mode and both DM and ZtM to Attack Mode. BK attacks but Yugi activates Mirror Force to destroy BK's monsters yet BK counters with Solemn Judgment, paying half his current LPs to negate Mirror Force's activation and destroy it, bringing himself down to 250 and Yugi down to 100 LPs after Zera's attack. Yugi draws, more pleased with the card he picks up, setting it face down (blatantly stating that it's a Spell Card) and setting a monster to end his turn. Dark Bakura enters, discovering the duel and what's at stake. CM's patience is thinning and decides it's time to finish the duel by activating Tribute to The Doomed, one of the rarest Spell Cards in the game (probably at the time this first aired but not anymore) to take out Yugi's face down monster but Yugi activates Living Arrow to make Zera the target of TtTD's effect, destroying it.

Dark Bakura frees BK from the Shadow Realm's magic and even CM's Millennium Item doesn't immediately have any effect. When he does regain control, he forces BK to slam the Millennium Puzzle into Yugi's side of the arena, leaving several pieces of the puzzle on the floor. Dark Bakura becomes regular Bakura and knocks BK to the floor. However, his dark half plots a plan to be inside the Millennium Puzzle by having his ring successfully move part of his spirit into a piece. While Yugi attends to his matter, BK awakens and is so paranoid that he picks up a metal pipe and swings it wildly, eventually hitting controls to a machinery and eventually igniting gasoline containers nearby.

Elsewhere, Tea` and her friends stop for a break but they notice the fire and from inside, Yugi knows he must get out with the fire spreading quickly. He continues his focus while just on the other side, Tea` has gone for help while Joey and Tristan try to bash the door open and succeed. Once inside, the duo find Yugi and struggle hard to save him and his Millennium Puzzle. When they come out, the Fire Department is attacking the blaze. At the hospital, the group discuss what happened and Yugi has to break up an argument between Joey and Tristan. Tea` heads just outside, thinking about what could happen next as they haven't seen the last of the guy after Yugi's Millennium Puzzle!
