Episode 9: Duel with a Ghoul

At the duel, despite Kemo's words (including echoing Ghost Kaiba's lame pun) Yu-Gi-Oh and Mokuba refuse to believe it's really Kaiba. Back inside, Pegasus loves reality TV as he's watching from what appears to be an overhead projector. Meanwhile, Yu-Gi-Oh just wants to duel and GK (Ghost Kaiba for short) thinks Yu-Gi-Oh knows the truth that he is Kaiba, then tells Kemo that all he wants is revenge, giving Pegasus Kaiba Corp. (Which is a dead giveaway that it's not Kaiba.). GK begins with Hitotsu-Me Giant (1200) in Attack Mode, just as Kaiba did in their duel but it'll have the same result as Yu-Gi-Oh plays Dark Magician (2500) in Attack Mode and attacks, destroying HG and leaving GK down to 700 LPs.

Yu-Gi-Oh says he'll win all the same but GK protests that Yu-Gi-Oh barely won the last time he dueled and has lost Exodia, his big advantage, leaving him only to lose. (Well with you down to just 700 LPs, it's much easier for him to beat you.)For a new twist, we get some music and we also find Kaiba is indeed still alive, hiding out of sight behind a tree, remembering how he did indeed survive the fall. He heads down a secret passageway to his computer, which gives the full story thus far, including Yugi's loss of Exodia. Kaiba decides to start at Duelist Kingdom. Meanwhile, GK draws and plays Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000) in Attack Mode but doesn't want to attack right away and sets 1 card to end his turn.

Kaiba has gained control of the Industrial Illusions satellite and manages to get it to crash into Industrial Illusions' computer mainframe. Yu-Gi-Oh puts Dark Magician into Defense Mode, then plays Curse of Dragon (1500) in Defense Mode, activating GK's Defense Paralysis, forcing all of Yu-Gi-Oh's monsters into Attack Mode. (Final Attack Orders does practically the same thing except it forces all monsters on the field to Attack Mode, including yours and it has different artwork.) GK takes out Yu-Gi-Oh's Curse of Dragon, cutting Yu-Gi-Oh's score in half to 1000. Meanwhile, Kaiba, with a bit of a struggle, enters area 146, where Yu-Gi-Oh is dueling and discovers a virus that is triggered when the user tries to access data about Yugi Muto. However, he reaches an impenetrable fortress but figures that Pegasus wouldn't think anyone would get this far and tries "Pegasus" for the password (I suppose it could also be "pegasus" but it's hard to say).

Yu-Gi-Oh wishes he were as sure as Mokuba, who still insists GK isn't Kaiba but he doesn't know what to believe. He plays Magical Hats, concealing the Dark Magician in four hats (The real card is a Trap Card that forces you to pick 1 of your monsters, as well as 2 Spell or Trap Cards,  of which the 2 Spell or Trap Cards get destroyed during the End Phase of that turn.) with only a 25% chance the Dark Magician will be found. Low and behold, Kaiba gets the password right and they now have access to all of Yugi's data. GK attacks, and if it hits right, Yu-Gi-Oh loses much more than the duel!
