| Episode 127: Tricking the Trickster | |||

In the audience, Crow's kids are seeing that the crowd is more cheering for
Broder but they're still there to support Crow. However, Bruno is feeling the
duel is pretty much over yet Yusei feels otherwise. It depends on Crow but he,
Brodor and other see one of the kids up on top of the railing. The kid loses his
balance and begins to fall but Trudge saves him and gives the group a stern
talking but will never understand the kids of his time. Crow draws and sets 2
cards to end his turn, urging Broder to attack. Brodor remains confident that
he'll win as he can either attack or use Speed World 2's effect. Yusei feels
that Crow's confidence indicates he has a plan. Brodor's draw yields him no
Speed Spell so he decides to use Speed World 2's other effect to drop 10 Speed
Counters and destroy 1 of Crow's face down cards. When Brodor attacks, Crow
activates his other Black Wing card to remove a
Blackwing in his Graveyard to negate Loki's attack but Brodor uses Loki's effect
to negate BW's effect and destroy it. However, Crow then uses Blackwing - Calima the Haze's effect from the Graveyard to remove itself from play and revive Black-Winged Dragon (2800) in Attack Mode. Brodor resumes his attack with Loki but Crow uses BW's other effect to remove the 2 copies in his Graveyard to destroy both Synchro Monsters and deal Brodor the ATK of Loki as damage. Nevertheless, Brodor activates Dromi the Sacred Shackles to deal Crow damage equal to the ATK difference between Loki and BWD since Brodor has an Aesir monster out, leaving both to lose the duel. Loki then returns to the field (3300) in Attack Mode by its effect as Brodor and Crow switch players. It's Haldor and Yusei but Haldor adds that destiny will favor one of the, but Yusei wants no destiny involved. Yusei draws and summons Cosmic Compass (300) in Defense Mode. Due to CC's effect, Yusei get s 1 Compass Token for each of Haldor's monsters, giving him two (0000 x2) in Defense Mode. With that, he sets 2 cards to end his turn so Haldor draws and his teamates realize they've underestimated Team 5Ds but know that Haldor is operating on a different level. Yusei seizes the opportunity to activate Monster Chain, preventing both players from attacking for a number of turns equal to the number of monsters on his field for a total of three turns. Haldor isn't scared as he draws and summons Valkyrie of the Nordic Ascendant (400) in Attack Mode. Next, he uses her effect to discard 2 cards and Special Summon to Einherjar Tokens (1000) in Defense Mode. (The real card forces you to remove from play 2 Nordic monsters and have no other cards out when you Normal Summon her to use the effect.) Since the Tokens are Level 4 and VotNA is a Tuner, Haldor uses them as Synchro Material for Odin, Father of the Aesir (4000) in Attack Mode. Now all three God Cards are on the field and it will take everything Yusei has to defeat them! |
