With Yami's God Cards weakened, Yugi proceeds with his plan and triggers Slifer's effect with a Spell Card. Yami comes back strong with a Fusion Summon but Yugi brings out an even stronger monster until Yami weakens it with a monster effect. Yami then decides to use a Spell Card to get a monster back he discarded at the start of the Duel and it's one Yugi would've never anticipated. Yugi isn't anticipated and continues to bring out monsters in various ways but so does Yami in a classic way for a classic Spellcaster. Now Yugi must take down his most trusted monster to win.
