Episode 203: The Intruder (2)

Inside Yami's palace, Yami's Obelisk the Tormentor and Egyptian Bakura's Diabounds' attacks turn out to be equally matched and both call back their monsters (what is this, Pokémon?). EB decides to take off, declaring that all seven Millennium Items are destined to be his. Yami realizes he was sent back in time to relive the events again and asks Shimon about the object in the sky but Shimon doesn't see it. Meanwhile, Kaiba stares at his Blue-Eyes White Dragon card, then finds the Millennium Eye staring back and picks it up, only to see a vision of the past and dismiss it before heading out to Egypt via his Blue-Eyes White Jet.

Back in Egypt, Seto devises a plan to harness the evil within the hearts of those that possess the shadow monsters but Aknaden dislikes the idea. The others are back inside as Isis uses her Millennium Necklace to show her the future but to no avail as EB shrouded her vision ever since his arrival. Shada and Karim advise Isis to get rest but Isis can't afford rest with EB about.

Inside the Millennium Puzzle, it's not getting better as there are doors that lead to other hallways and Tea` discovers that time must've stopped. Joey has in instinct that the door in front of them is the one they're looking for but it turns out to be a dead end that puts Joey and Tristan in two places at once. Tea` gets an idea to have Yugi try and figure out where Yami is but Yugi stopped feeling Yami's prescience ever since Yami left yet tries anyway and echoes through Egypt where Yami is until Mahad requests Yami to come inside.

Once inside, they hear a noise that turns out to be Mana, one of Yami's childhood friends. She had gotten past the guards using a freezing spell that she cannot seem to find in her book. Meanwhile, EB realizes that he was too ambitious to get all seven Millennium Items at once and decides to go after just the Millennium Ring. The net day, Mahad enters another part of town and assures a little boy that he's here to protect them but his MR reacts to what Mahad concludes is EB. Meanwhile, Mana and Yami talk about their life. Isis is walking along when she finds Seto and the duo discuss their experiences with their Millennium Items before Seto leaves, confident that Yami will make things better. Back inside, Isis, uses her Millennium Necklace again and this time sees a great evil and must warn Mahad.

Once again in the palace, Mahad assures Yami that King Akenkaden's Tomb won't be disturbed again as a spell to protect it is being applied as they speak. Later, Mahad is heading out with others pulling a cart and Mana wants to go with and is pulled back by Sharim, whom protests that she underestimates Mahad's magic. Isis arrives to warn Mahad of his fate but Mahad prefers not to know and says to watch over Yami before resuming his task and takes in Isis' words that say he'll return.

It's been his duty to protect Yami and recalls a moment in their childhood where he saves Yami from a snake bite by taking it himself. No matter where destiny takes him, he vows to return the favor but up above, EB is shadowing their movement. Mahad realizes his only way to defeat EB is to release the part of his magic he locked away and unleashes it, causing a rockslide that blocks EB's men from entering, leaving only EB and Mahad inside. They meet and it's time duel!
