Episode 167: Flight of Fear (2)

Mokuba is fighting for both control and contact for help in leveling the plane and Kaiba isn't having much better luck as he faces a monster version of Alister's childhood toy. Kaiba can do very little but take the attack with a Trap Card to serve as a low end defense. Kaiba then brings out his prized dragon before Alister locks him out of using Spell Cards. Kaiba finally turns the Duel around with a Trap Card that transforms his prized dragon, then brings out his legendary dragon and combies it.

Episode Cards
DUEL 1: Kaiba: PoG, MTM, JD (via MTM), JM (via JD), SE, BEWD, TW, TFoC, TBD
Alister: JD, (via JD: CSoD, ScSo), KS, SU, SoRe, AFZ, TRB, SpCa
Deviations from the TCG
1. Players started with only 4000 LP.
2. The Seal of Orichalcos doubled the number of monsters its own er could control at a time, prevented either player from leaving the Duel until it was over and could affect a plane's onboard controls.

3. The Fang of Critias was a one-of-a-kind unique card that doubled as a monster and could combine with Trap Cards.

4. Soul Exchange let the owner Tribute multiple monsters for a Tribute Summon without costing them their Battle Phase.

5. Spell Canceller only affected the opponent's Spell Cards.
Errors
1. Kaiba says Judge Man is Special Summoned in Defense Mode but takes battle damage and half of Judge Man's 2200 ATK is shown when the monster is Summoned. Plus there's no card underneath.

2. In the Dub, Kaiba says he combines Tyrant Wing with Tyrant Burst Dragon for a new Fusion Monster but he's really just applying the effect of Tyrant Wing.
