Episode 153: My Freaky Valentine (2)

Joey finds himself in major trouble but manages to Special Summon a monster that can take on Mai's Harpies. However, Mai brings out an old dragon from Duelist Kingdom that powers up enough to overcome Joey's monster. Joey counters with a Trap Card with a 1-in-3 chance of success but succeeds. Then, when Mai draws, Joey counters with another Trap but Mai is ready this time and counters his with her's. Furthermore, when Joey uses a Flip monster's effect, Mai has an answer for that as well but not for Joey's next Set monster. Now it's Joey's turn to get a new dragon and he's about to unleash it against Mai.

Deviations from the TCG

1. Players started with only 4000 LP.
2. The Seal of Orichalcos doubled the number of monsters its own er could control at a time and prevented either player from leaving the Duel until it was over.

3. Trap Jammer had different artwork and negated any Trap Card's activation and destroy it.
4. Harpie's Feather Storm was a Counter Trap that required a Harpie monster on the owner's field and only negated the effects activated at the time.

5. Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation destroyed opponent's monsters equal to the number of Harpie monsters the owner controlled, then dealt them damage equal to the combined ATK of their destroyed monster's.

Errors

1. Trap Jammer's artwork was virtually uncensored in the Dub.
