Episode 134: Clash in the Coliseum (6)

Joey comes to life and gets all the missing details filled in but has to view the Duel from his hospital room and hope for the best. Meanwhile, Yami faces a powerful Trap Card that prevents his monsters from defending and brings both player's Deck down to just 3 cards each. Yami's fears are realized as Kaiba brings back his prized monster, then combines them for a powerful Fusion Monster. Yami too brings out a powerful Fusion Monster but it proves to be weaker than Kaiba's so he tries to power it up but ends up giving Kaiba's monter the boost instead. Luckily, Yami finds a way to break up Kaiba's Fusion Monster, thus making his own much more powerful and attacks them all with the help of a Spell Card to win the Duel and prepare to face Marik in the finals.

Deviations from the TCG
1. Players started with only 4000 LP.
2. Spell Absorption had different artwork, could steal the opponent's Spell Cards and was called "Absorb Spell" in the Dub.

3. Dark Paladin was called "Dark Paladin, the Ultimate Magical Swordsman" in the Dub.
4. Final Attack Orders also forced both players to choose 3 cards for a new Deck and send the rest ot the Graveyard.

5. Magic Formula could be equipped to any monster and gave that monster 500 ATK.
