Yami continues to struggle as do their God Cards and Marik's Millennium Rod only deepens the mystery as it shows Kaiba and Yami a vision of their past. Yami buys it, but Kaiba does not so Yami brings out a monster, only to have it copied by Kaiba, then Tributed for Kaiba's favorite monster. Yami decides to take a page from the vision by reviving one of his monsters to make it play out just as it did in the past. Kaiba uses a Spell Card to draw multiple cards, then decides to protect his prized monster with a 2nd monster's effect. Yami strengthens his defenses, then attacks Kaiba's monster but Kaiba snatches Yami's Spell Card to revive Obelisk and cut Yami's LP in half. |

1. Players started with only 4000 LP.
2. Card of Demise let the owner draw cards until they had 5 cards in their hand, then had to discard their entire hand 5 turns later. 3. Cloning created an exact copy of the opponent's Summoned monster. 4. Lord of D. was called "Lord of Dragons" in the Dub. |
