Kaiba, Mokuba and Yami arrive by helicopter to Domino Pier where Joey is waiting for them but they soon realize Joey isn't the same person he used to be as Marik has control over him. Worse still, Tea` is also under Marik's control and provides the stakes for the Duel Yami and Joey are about to have. Yami agrees to keep Slifer out of his Deck but puts Joey's Red-Eyes in it instead in hopes it'll set Joey free. Unfortunately, Yami is quick to face the wrath of Joey's new Deck, which had many cards replaced with ones normally forbidden for Dueling. Kaiba also cannot stop the Duel for fears of injuring Tea` thanks to a Rare Hunter and his remote control. As time ticks down, Yami is in major trouble.
