Episode 50: The Mystery Duelist (1)

On their way to school, Yugi and Tea` find a fortune teller and in spite of running late, Tea` agrees to let Yugi get his fortune told. However, the fortune teller (Bandit Keith under Marik Ishtar's control) requires the Millennium Puzzle to help share his findings, only to reveal himself as a fake and a thief by taking the puzzle and running off. Yugi races after him, telling Tea` to go get help. Yugi is lead to an abandoned warehouse where he's forced to Duel for the Millennium Puzzle and Yami is unable to help as he's too far away. Yugi quickly finds himself up against the wall as his monsters fall victim to Keith's monsters. Yugi soon realizes whom he's dealing with but finds none of his monsters able to withstand Keith's monsters any better.

Deviations from the TCG
1. Players started with only 2000 LP and could Normal Summon monsters of any Level without Tributing.
2. Yugi was able to Normal Summon 2 monsters in the same turn without a card effect saying so.
3. Cyber Jar was called a Machine-Type monster.
4. Machine Conversion Factory gave all Machine-Type monsters 300 ATK and DEF.
