While Yugi and the gang discuss more general matters, Duke Devlin sets his sights on Yugi Muto from inside his Dungeon Dice Monsters store. He intends to prove Yugi cheated against Pegasus by facing off against him on his own territory. First, though, he heads to Domino High School, where  he shares a few dice games of his own. When Joey loses, he challenges Duke to a Duel but Duke has no cards of his own and offers booster packs of Pharaoh's Servant for them to pick cards from. Joey starts off well, taking down just about everything Duke puts in his way. Duke then takes down Joey's best monster with a Trap of his own. Joey recovers but neglects to remember his new monster's side-effect that Duke intends on taking full advantage of. Duke pulls off a devastating combo that wipes Joey out in a single turn and leaves Joey to be Duke's dog for a week. Yami intervenes so Duke now challenges Yami to Dungeon Dice Monsters.
