Episode 38: Match of the Millennium - Yugi vs. Pegasus (4)

While Bakura and Tristan continue to face the guards protecting Mokuba's body, Yami and Yugi struggle with the Shadow Realm's effects, especailly when Pegasus adds monsters that can block attacks. Yugi only holds on for so long and eventually collapses, rendering the duo's Mind Shuffle tactic useless. Worse still, Pegasus then brings out a monster that can snatch opponent's monsters and use them as a shield while also preventing its owner from taking any battle damage. Yami then faces a monster with the ability to destroy all monsters out at the time it self-destructs and cost Yami the Duel if successful. Yami doesn't want to admit it but as far as he's concerned there's no way for him to win this Duel.

Deviations from the TCG
1. Players started with only 2000 LP and could Normal Summon monsters of any Level without Tributing.
2. Dark-Eyes Illusionist stopped the attack of an opponent's monster while face-up on the field and was either a Level 1 (Japanese version) or a Level 2 monster (Dub) with 0 ATK and DEF when Summoned.

3. Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress #1 was called "Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress" in the Dub.

4. Jigen Bakudan had the ability to destroy all monsters out after 2 turns of being face-up on the field and couldn't be attacked.

5. Relinquished only dealt the opponent the damage from its battles while equipped with a monster.
Errors
1. Dark-Eyes Illusionist's Level and/or DEF were incorrect when it was Summoned.
