Episode 36: Match of the Millennium - Yugi vs. Pegasus (2)

Yami tries to go on the defensive against Pegasus but finds that's much harder to do when Pegasus counters one of his tactics. Pegasus then decides to use the same card that left Kaiba struggling and adds to it with a few monsters of his own. Yami's defenses continue to come up short as he's also forced to take damage even if his monsters are in Defense Mode. Meanwhile, Tristan and Bakura have gone below ground to find Mokuba but only find trouble instead.

Deviations from the TCG

1. Players started with only 2000 LP and could Normal Summon monsters of any Level without Tributing.
2. Spellbinding Circle also lowered the affected monster's ATK by 700 and could affect any monster on the field.

3. Gorgon's Eye was a Continuous Trap that dealt half the DEF of the destroyed monster to its owner.
4. Toon World had no activation cost and converted all monsters on its owner's field into Toon monsters and protected them from being attacked or being destroyed in battle.

6. Toon Summoned Skull, Toon Mermaid and Manga Ryu-Ran appeared by transforming their original counterparts into Toon monsters by Toon World's effect.
