Episode 11: The Dueling Monkey

Outside, the gang have no luck finding Mokuba but Rex Raptor demands a rematch with Mai after having his room taken away from him on the trip over. Mai agrees if Rex can beat Joey in a Duel. Mai notes that should Joey accept, he'll have to do it without help from his friends. The Duel gets going and Rex starts to take control until Joey unwittingly finds a vulnerability in Rex's strategy. It's not until Rex brings out the card he won from the Regional Championships that Joey feels worried. Even so, Joey brings out a pair of monsters that prove exceptionally difficult to take down and manages to beat Rex's rare monster. Still, Rex has another ace up his sleeve and is about to unleash it on Joey.
