CIBR-EN059
Metaphys Factor
Field Spell
Each turn, 1 Level 5 or higher "Metaphys" monster you Normal Summon can be Summoned without Tributing, but banish it during the End Phase of the next turn. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to your "Metaphys" monsters' effect activations.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Most Metaphys monsters I've already seen don't have much worth stopping anyway and if you can lock them out of being banished, they don't get much. Plus, barring Ragnarok and Executor, they won't get their effect if they're brought out using this until after they're banished.
CIBR-EN058
World Legacy Clash
Quick-Play Spell
Banish 1 face-up monster you control (until the End Phase), then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; that target loses ATK/DEF equal to the original ATK/DEF of that banished monster.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: I'd rather send the monster from my hand to the Grave than lose it on the field and risk it not coming back but this is also quicker than other methods.
CIBR-EN057
World Legacy in Shadow
Field Spell
All "Krawler" monsters on the field gain 300 ATK/DEF. Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower Insect monster from your hand in face-up or face-down Defense Position. When your Flip monster is destroyed by battle with an opponent's monster: You can send that opponent's monster to the GY.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: You'll have to show your opponent that your using the effect properly, which means your opponent will be aware of your hidden monster's effects but this also powers them up a bit so knowledge may not be enough.
CIBR-EN056
Quick Launch
Quick-Play Spell
Special Summon 1 "Rokket" monster from your Deck, but it cannot attack, also destroy it during the End Phase.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Currently, Magnarokket Dragon is the strongest monster this can bring out with 1800 ATK and that's not all that bad but you'll be forced to pick from one of its friends once it self-destructs.
CIBR-EN055
Squib Draw
Quick-Play Spell
Target 1 "Rokket" monster you control; destroy it, and if you do, draw 2 cards. You can only activate 1 "Squib Draw" per turn.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It costs you a monster but if your Normal Summon wasn't used up yet, then you'll probably be able to play the Rokket monster you get with the destroyed monster's effect, plus 2 cards.
CIBR-EN054
Dragonoid Generator
Continuous Spell
Activate this card by paying 1000 LP. During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon 1 "Dragonoid Token" (Machine/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 300/DEF 300) in Attack Position, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, also during the End Phase your opponent Special Summons 1 "Dragonoid Token" to their field in Attack Position (even if this card leaves the field). You can use this effect of "Dragonoid Generator" up to twice per turn.
RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: What's the point in even paying the activation fee to get a Token that your opponent gets for free? Fiend's Sanctuary and other cards do a much better job at giving you Tokens, especially since those can also be in Defense Mode.
CIBR-EN053
Security Block
Quick-Play Spell
Target 1 Cyberse monster on the field; this turn, neither player takes battle damage, also that monster cannot be destroyed by battle.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: I don't see much use for this except in a Cyberse Deck considering no other monsters can use it. Still, unless your monster is weaker, you're not going to benefit from using this anyway.
CIBR-EN052
Mistar Boy
WATER / Aqua-Type Link / ATK 1400 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right
2 WATER monsters
All WATER monsters on the field gain 500 ATK and DEF, also all FIRE monsters on the field lose 400 ATK and DEF. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 WATER monster in your GY; add it to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Mistar Boy" once per turn.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: He's tipping his hat to me, as if to show his maturity but he's not really any better than the other monsters that have "grown up" to become Link Monsters like Little Chimera.
CIBR-EN051
Akashic Magician
DARK / Spellcaster-Type Link / ATK 1700 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Top and Bottom
2 monsters with the same Type, except Tokens
You can only Link Summon "Akashic Magician(s)" once per turn. If this card is Link Summoned: Return all monsters this card points to to the hand. Once per turn: You can declare 1 card name; excavate cards from the top of your Deck, equal to the total Link Rating of the Link Monsters co-linked to this card, then if you excavated any copies of the declared card, add them to your hand, also send the remaining cards to the GY.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Weak and nothing worthwhile to offer except her Link Materials, which are already offset by her bad effects. I don't see any reason to justify her card rarity.
CIBR-EN050
X-Krawler Qualiark
EARTH / Insect-Type Link / ATK 2000 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right
2 "Krawler" monsters
If this face-up card is destroyed by battle, or leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect while its owner controls it: You can target 2 "Krawler" monsters with different names in your GY; Special Summon them in face-down Defense Position. Apply these effects based on the number of "Krawler" monsters you control.
● 2+: All monsters you control gain 300 ATK/DEF.
● 4+: Your opponent's cards and effects cannot be activated during the Battle Phase.
● 6+: Your monsters can attack directly.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It's not all that bad considering it's not only stronger than the other two X-Krawlers but it also ofters more as a whole. However, getting the more wrthwhile effects takes more monsters for you to have out.
CIBR-EN049
X-Krawler Neurogos
EARTH / Insect-Type Link / ATK 1900 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Left and Right
2 Insect monsters
"Krawler" monsters this card points to cannot be destroyed by battle, gain 300 ATK/DEF, and if they battle your opponent's monster, any battle damage they inflict to your opponent is doubled. If this face-up card is destroyed by battle, or leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect while its owner controls it: You can target 2 "Krawler" monsters with different names in your GY; Special Summon them in face-down Defense Position.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Much like Synaphysis, this guy comes with the pre-packaged benefits of its comrades but it's also a bit stronger and a bit more specific with its Link Materials. Dealing double battle damage isn't too bad though.
CIBR-EN048
X-Krawler Synaphysis
EARTH / Insect-Type Link / ATK 1800 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Left and Right
2 EARTH monsters
"Krawler" monsters this card points to cannot be destroyed by battle, gain 300 ATK/DEF, and can make up to 2 attacks on monsters during each Battle Phase. If this face-up card is destroyed by battle, or leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect while its owner controls it: You can target 2 "Krawler" monsters with different names in your GY; Special Summon them in face-down Defense Position.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Not very strong but its Link Materials are pretty easy to meet and it has the perks of other Krawler monsters, plus a bit more.
CIBR-EN047
Altergeist Primebanshee
DARK / Spellcaster-Type Link / ATK 2100 / Link-3
Active Link Arrow(s): Right, Bottom and Bottom-Right
2+ "Altergeist" monsters
During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 other "Altergeist" monster; Special Summon 1 "Altergeist" monster from your Deck to your zone this card points to. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can target 1 "Altergeist" card in your GY; add it to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Altergeist Primebanshee" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Altergeists are thus far pretty easy to bring out but while the last effect isn't too bad, the required Link Materials and 1st effect are pretty bad. Its ATK isn't that great either.
CIBR-EN046
Twin Triangle Dragon
DARK / Dragon-Type Link / ATK 1200 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Right and Bottom
2 Level 4 or lower Dragon monsters, except Tokens
When this card is Link Summoned: You can pay 500 LP, then target 1 Level 5 or higher monster in your GY; Special Summon it to your zone this card points to, but it cannot attack this turn, also it has its effects negated.
RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: The fee to revive a monster is minimal but the drawbacks are at least twice as bad, rendering this guy pretty well useless.
CIBR-EN045
Gouki Thunder Ogre
EARTH / Warrior-Type Link / ATK 2200 / Link-3
Active Link Arrow(s): Top, Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right
2+ "Gouki" monsters
If a monster(s) this card points to is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can make this card gain 400 ATK. The turn player applies the following effect while this monster is on the field.
● During their Main Phase, they can Normal Summon 1 monster from their hand to their zone this card points to, in addition to their Normal Summon/Set. (They can only gain this effect once per turn.)
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It gets stronger each time a player loses a monster pointed to by one of this guy's Link Arrows but allowing both players an Extra Normal Summon to one of those same Link Arrows to me isn't very good.
CIBR-EN044
Trickstar Black Catbat
LIGHT / Fairy-Type Link / ATK 2000 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Left and Right
2 "Trickstar" monsters
Each time a monster(s) this card points to is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the GY, inflict 200 damage to your opponent. Each time your opponent takes damage by a "Trickstar" monster's effect: Face-up monsters they control lose 200 ATK for each monster this card points to, until the end of this turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Not only is it fairly weak for the required Link Materials but both effects are quite poor so this card being Ultra Rare is a big mystery to me.
CIBR-EN043
Link Bumper
EARTH / Cyberse-Type Link / ATK 1400 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Top and Left
2 Cyberse monsters
Once per turn, at the end of the Damage Step, if your monster this card points to attacked an opponent's Link Monster: You can activate this effect; the monster that attacked gains 1 additional attack on an opponent's Link Monster during this Battle Phase for each Link Monster you currently control, except this card. Your monsters (except that monster) cannot attack the turn you activate this effect.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: 1400 ATK and only working on Link Monsters really doesn't justify its Super Rare status, especially since only the affected monster gets to have the 2nd attack.
CIBR-EN042
Borreload Dragon
DARK / Dragon-Type Link / ATK 3000 / Link-4
Active Link Arrow(s): Left, Right, Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right
3+ Effect Monsters
Neither player can target this card with monster effects. Once per turn (Quick
Effect): You can target 1 face-up monster on the field; it loses 500 ATK/DEF. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this effect's activation. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card attacks an opponent's monster: You can place that opponent's monster in a zone this card points to and take control of it, but send it to the GY during the End Phase of the next turn.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It's going to take a fair amount of effort to bring this guy out, even when you use other Link Monsters and when you do, it doesn't offer much except its 3000 ATK and the ability to temporarily take control of an opponent's monster. The ATK and DEF loss isn't much but can't be countered by your opponent and is at least permanent.
CIBR-EN041
Muscle Medic
WATER / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 2200 / DEF 100
If a player would take damage from a battle involving this card, they gain that much LP, instead.
SHORT PRINT COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Although it looks like another janky Common, it can be useful if you lower its ATK, making you gain LP when you attack a stronger monster. Plus if you can add ways to prevent its destruction in battle and/or ways to attack multuple times, you're going to rack up the extra LP fast. At least it also doesn't switch to Defense Mode when attacking.
CIBR-EN040
Nimble Beaver
WATER / Beast / Level 2 / ATK 400 / DEF 100
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower "Nimble" monster from your Deck or GY.
SHORT PRINT COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: The only viable target I can see with this is Nimble Momonga but it has to be Normal Summoned and that means leaving it and you vulnerable.
