Rise of the True Dragons Structure Deck
SR02-EN004
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Guardian of Felgrand
LIGHT / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 500 / DEF 500
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can equip 1 Level 7 or 8 Dragon-Type monster from your hand or Graveyard to this card. This card gains ATK and DEF equal to half the ATK and DEF of the monster equipped to it by this effect. You can Tribute 1 monster and this card, then target 1 Level 7 or 8 Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: The highest you can achieve is 2000 ATK from Beelzeus' 4000 ATK as most dragons of those two Levels aren't any stronger and using the very last effect is just as bad.
SR02-EN003
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Paladin of Felgrand
LIGHT / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 1700 / DEF 300
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can equip 1 Level 7 or 8 Dragon-Type monster from your hand or Deck to this card. This card is unaffected by other monsters' effects, while equipped with an Equip Card. You can Tribute 1 monster and this card, then target 1 Level 7 or 8 Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Not much going for this card exept the very last effect, which revives a high-Level Dragon-Type monster from your Graveyard.
SR02-EN002
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Dragon Knight of Creation
LIGHT / Dragon / Level 4 / ATK 1800 / DEF 600
Increase this card's Level by 4 during your opponent's turn only. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can send 1 Level 7 or 8 Dragon-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. You can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard, then target 1 Level 7 or 8 Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard; send this card to the Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon that monster. You can only use this effect of "Dragon Knight of Creation" once per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: It can send any Dragon to the Graveyard, including the two below, though only half of those is worthwhile. Even if you don't want to use the effects, you still have a decent candidate for your Deck thanks to its low Level and high ATK.
SR02-EN001
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand
LIGHT / Dragon / Level 8 / ATK 2800 / DEF 2800
If this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls or in their Graveyard; banish it, and if you do, this card gains ATK and DEF equal to the banished monster's original Level/Rank x 100. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can target 1 Level 7 or 8 Dragon-Type monster in the Graveyard, except "Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand"; Special Summon it to your field.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: A major step up from the original Felgrand as you can perform the ol' dump and revive technique to power it up a bit and whenever it takes out a monster, you'll revive another high-Level Dragon to join it.
SR02-EN000
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Arkbrave Dragon
LIGHT / Dragon / Level 7 / ATK 2400 / DEF 2000
If this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard: You can banish as many face-up Spell/Trap Cards your opponent controls as possible, and if you do, this card gains 200 ATK and DEF for each card banished. Once per turn, during the Standby Phase, if this card is in the Graveyard because it was sent there last turn: You can target 1 Level 7 or 8 Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard, except "Arkbrave Dragon"; Special Summon it.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: You won't get much unless you Special Summon it from the Graveyard but luckily it isn't specific for how it goes there unlike Felgrand Dragon.
Starter Deck: Yuya
YS16-EN031
Card Type: Trap Card
Card Info Performapal Show Down
Normal Trap
Target any number of face-up monsters your opponent controls, up to the number of face-up Spell Cards you control; change those monsters to face-down Defense Position.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: The more Spells you control the less room you have to use this but the less Spells you control, the less monsters you can turn face-down. Any way you slice it, Swords of Concealing Light can do this card's job with no effort and the same result.
YS16-EN022
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Smile World
Normal Spell
All face-up monsters currently on the field gain 100 ATK for each monster currently on the field, until the end of this turn.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: There's nothing to smile about with this card unless it's to ridicule it because the only thing this card offers is a pitiful temporary ATK boost, which can already be obtained with Axe of Despair and the like. Surely new players deserve better than this.
YS16-EN021
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Performapal Dramatic Theater
Field Spell
Monsters you control gain 200 ATK for monster you control with a different Type. Once per turn, if you control 4 "Performapal" monsters with different Types: You can Special Summon 1 "Odd-Eyes" monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: These Performapals need to stop being so dramatic because behind the smoke and mirrors is a act so lousy that it has everyone rolling on the floor, then taking it to social media to riducule it further.
YS16-EN007
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Performapal Teeter Totter Hopper
EARTH / Insect / Level 4 / ATK 100 / DEF 1200
The first time this Special Summoned card would be destroyed by battle each turn, it is not destroyed. Once per turn, during your opponent's End Phase: You can target 1 Level 3 or lower "Performapal" monster in your Graveyard; send this card to the Graveyard, and if you do, add that monster to your hand. If a "Performapal" monster is sent from the hand to your Graveyard (except during the Damage Step), while this card is in your Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of "Performapal Teeter Totter Hopper" once per turn.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: If only he had as many uses as he does lines of text but he's already teetering on the edge of defeat in battle with those stats.
YS16-EN006
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Performapal Longphone Bull
EARTH / Beast / Level 4 / ATK 1600 / DEF 1200
If this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Performapal" monster from your Deck to your hand, except a Pendulum Monster. You can only use this effect of "Performapal Longphone Bull" once per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: He's clearly getting bad reception because his stats are poor and so is his effect. Please add him to your do not call list.
YS16-EN005
Card Info Performapal Parrotrio
WIND / Winged Beast-Type Pendulum / Level 3 / ATK 500 / DEF 500 / Scale 2
Once per turn, if you control a "Performapal", "Magician", or "Odd-Eyes" card in your other Pendulum Zone, except "Performapal Parrotrio": You can make this card's Pendulum Scale become 7 until the end of this turn.
When this card is destroyed by battle: You can Special Summon 1 "Performapal" monster from your Deck, except a Pendulum Monster.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Being able to change its Scale to 7 isn't bad if you need to Pendulum Summon higher level monsters but you won't get that if you use this without one of its friends as the other Pendulum Zone occupant, nor will you resolve the other effect if you don't have other Performapals in your Deck.
YS16-EN004
Card Info Performapal Momoncarpet
EARTH / Beast-Type Pendulum-Type Flip / Level 3 / ATK 1000 / DEF 100 / Scale 7
Unless you have a card in your other Pendulum Zone, destroy this card. While this card is in the Pendulum Zone, any battle damage you take becomes halved.
FLIP: You can target 1 Set card on the field; destroy it. If this card is Special Summoned: You can change it to face-down Defense Position.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Nimble Momonga's Pendulum Monster upgrade and being its first Pendulum Monster variant, it has bugs to work out like the fact that it self-destructs if your other Pendulum Zone isn't occupied, making the scale pretty well moot, though at least you can reset the effect if it's Special Summoned.
YS16-EN003
Card Info Performapal Swincobra
EARTH / Reptile-Type Pendulum / Level 4 / ATK 300 / DEF 1800 / Scale 2
Once per turn, when a monster you control inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can send the top card of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard.
This card can attack your opponent directly. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Not a lot of uses with this because its stats are fairly low and won't likely keep it around long. The Pendulum Scale is really the only good thing about this card.
YS16-EN002
Card Info Performapal King Bear
EARTH / Beast-Warrior-Type Pendulum / Level 6 / ATK 2200 / DEF 1000 / Scale 7
Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was activated this turn: You can destroy this card, and if you do, add 1 Level 7 or higher monster to your hand, that is either in your Graveyard or face-up in your Extra Deck.
Cannot be destroyed by Spell/Trap effects while in face-up Attack Position. This card gains 100 ATK for each "Performapal" card you control, during your Battle Phase only.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: A bit better than Sleight Hand Magician, especially with its Monster effect and it has a decent enough Scale to warrant use in the Pendulum Zone, even if the other effects are pretty mediocre.
YS16-EN001
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Performapal Sleight Hand Magician
LIGHT / Spellcaster / Level 7 / ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "Performapal" monster, except a Pendulum Monster. Once per turn: You can discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up card on the field; destroy it.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: You can Special Summon it with one Tribute but that means Tributing a non-Pendulum Performapal monster and other than that, it can only get rid of one threat per turn.
Millennium Pack (Continued)
MIL1-EN022
Card Type: Trap Card
Card Info Trap Hole of Spikes
Normal Trap
When an opponent's monster that was Normal or Special Summoned this turn declares an attack: Destroy that attacking monster, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the original ATK of that monster.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: A bit better than Sakuretsu Armor as you also deal half the destroyed monster's ATK to your opponent and thanks to its new name, you can search it with Traptrix cards, but a Flip Summoned monster will get by this pretty easily.
MIL1-EN017
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Symbol of Friendship
Normal Spell
To activate this card, you must draw it for your normal draw in your Draw Phase while your opponent controls 3 or more monsters and you control no monsters, reveal it, and keep it revealed until the Main Phase 1. During your Main Phase 1 that same turn: You can activate this card from your hand; reveal 1 card from your Deck, and add it to your hand.
RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Meeting even the first half of this card's requirements is slim to none, even with 3 copies, and then you get whatever card you want, but then your opponent will be able to counteract it when you finally play it.
MIL1-EN016
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info The True Name
Normal Spell
Declare 1 card name; excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is the declared card, add it to your hand, then you can add to your hand, or Special Summon, 1 DIVINE monster from your Deck. Otherwise, send it to the Graveyard. You can only activate 1 "The True Name" per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Convulsion of Nature or similar cards can help you know which card is next but since the only DIVINE monsters that can be brought out by this effect stay on the field for one turn, it's hardly worth the effort unless you wish to Tribute Summon that monster.
MIL1-EN015
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Left Arm Offering
Normal Spell
If you have 2 or more other cards in your hand: Banish your entire hand; add 1 Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. You cannot Set Spell/Trap Cards during the turn you activate this card.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: A bad hand is probably one of the few times where banishing your hand would be good and you do get any Spell Card you want but aren't allowed to set Spells or Traps that turn.
MIL1-EN014
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Card of Demise
Normal Spell
Draw until you have 3 cards in your hand, also for the rest of this turn after this card resolves, your opponent takes no damage. During the End Phase of this turn, send your entire hand to the Graveyard. You can only activate 1 "Card of Demise" per turn. You cannot Special Summon during the turn you activate this card.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: A nerf of this card was inevitable given the anime effect had a 5 turn delay before you discarded and you drew until you had 5 cards in your hand but at least this card was still somewhat playable.
