Structure Deck: Lord of the Storm (SD8-EN) Card Ratings
1. This list excluides the duplicate
cards. 2. Card gallery: https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Set_Card_Galleries:Structure_Deck:_Lord_of_the_Storm_(TCG-EN-1E) |
SD8-EN036 Trap Card Icarus Attack Normal Trap By Tributing 1 Winged Beast-Type monster on your side of the field, destroy 2 cards on the field. (Common) Rating: 1 Wow, it destroys 2 cards on the field by Tributing a Monster! That's impressive... NOT! Do me a favor and put this in a "do not use" binder. |
SD8-EN035 Trap Card Ninjitsu Art of Transformation Continuous Trap Activate this card by Tributing 1 face-up monster on your side of the field that includes "Ninja" in its card name. Special Summon 1 Beast-Type, Winged Beast-Type or Insect-Type monster with a Level equal to or less than the Level of the Tributed card + 3 from your hand or Deck to your side of the field. When this card is removed from your side of the field, destroy the monster. (Common) Rating: 1 The name of this card should read: Ninjitsu Art of Crappiness as it isn't a good card at all. |
SD8-EN034 Trap Card Sakuretsu Armor Normal Trap You can only activate this card when your opponent declares an attack. Destroy the attacking monster. (Common) Rating: 2 It can be helpful in some situations but Mirror Force is better still. |
SD8-EN033 Trap Card Reckless Greed Normal Trap Draw 2 cards, and after that skip your next 2 Draw Phases. (Common) Rating: 1 Drawing 2 cards may be worth it if you're about to win the Duel but most of the time, it's a desperate attempt to get better cards into your hand. Take my advice and skip this card. |
SD8-EN032 Trap Card Dark Coffin Normal Trap When this face-down card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, your opponent selects and executes 1 of the following effects: ● Discard 1 random card in their hand. ● Select 1 monster on their side of the field and destroy it. (Common) Rating: 1 Yes it will probably be destroyed but chances are your opponent will choose the least costly effect. Don't use this. |
SD8-EN031 Trap Card Magic Jammer Counter Trap Discard 1 card from your hand. Negate the activation of a Spell Card and destroy it. (Common) Rating: 3 Discarding 1 card is a small price to pay if it means you don't lose your field advantage or the Duel. |
SD8-EN030 Trap Card Call of the Haunted Continuous Trap Select 1 monster from your Graveyard and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. When this card is removed from the field, destroy the monster. When the monster is destroyed, destroy this card. (Common) Rating: 3 Sure Premature Burial is better but this card requires no cost to activate so both are good to use. |
SD8-EN029 Trap Card Dust Tornado Normal Trap Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on your opponent's side of the field. You can then Set 1 Spell or Trap Card from your hand. (Common) Rating: 3 While not as good as MST, it's still more playable than Hysteric Party. |
SD8-EN028 Trap Card Aqua Chorus Continuous Trap If there are monsters with the same name on the field, increase the ATK and DEF of all those monsters with the same name by 500 points. (Common) Rating: 2 This can be good if used correctly. Like Harpie Ladies 1, 2, and 3 will have 1800 ATK but eventually, Jinzo or Royal Decree will dominate the field and negate this card. |
SD8-EN027 Trap Card Hysteric Party Continuous Trap Discard 1 card from your hand. Special Summon as many "Harpie Lady" cards as possible from your Graveyard. When this card is removed from the field, destroy all the monsters that were Special Summoned by this card's effect. (Common) Rating: 1 This party is hysteric alright...hysterically funny as this card's so horrible that your opponent will have to forfeit the Duel from laughter. |
SD8-EN026 Spell Card Lightning Vortex Normal Spell Discard 1 card from your hand. Destroy all face-up monsters on your opponent's side of the field. (Common) Rating: 1 Don't bother with this card as you only destroy face up Monsters and you must discard 1 card to activate it. Truly not worth playing. |
SD8-EN025 Spell Card Triangle Ecstasy Spark Normal Spell Until the End Phase of this turn, the ATK of all "Harpie Lady Sisters" becomes 2700, your opponent cannot activate any Trap Cards, and the effect of every Trap Card on your opponent's side of the field is negated. (Common) Rating: 2 While it makes all Harpie Lady Sisters out have 2700 ATK, it's only temporary, which makes this a pretty horrid card to use outside/inside of Harpie Decks. |
SD8-EN024 Spell Card Harpies' Hunting Ground Field Spell When "Harpie Lady" or "Harpie Lady Sisters" is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned to the field, destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. Increase the ATK and DEF of all face-up Winged Beast-Type monsters on the field by 200 points. (Common) Rating: 2 Neither effects of this card make it all that playable except in WIND or Harpie Decks. |
SD8-EN023 Spell Card Reload Quick-Play Spell Add all the cards in your hand to your Deck and shuffle it. Then draw the same number of cards that you added to your Deck. (Common) Rating: 3 This is definitely the best way to get a better hand without giving your opponent the same option. |
SD8-EN022 Spell Card Heavy Storm Normal Spell Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field. (Common) Rating: 3 Not as good as Harpie's Feather Duster but with that banned, this card just became better. |
SD8-EN021 Spell Card Elegant Egotist Normal Spell You can only activate this card when there are 1 or more face-up "Harpie Lady" on the field. Special Summon 1 "Harpie Lady" or "Harpie Lady Sisters" from your hand or your Deck. (Common) Rating: 1 Not much going for this card. It's obviously only useful when you have Harpie Lady out. |
SD8-EN020 Spell Card Nobleman of Crossout Normal Spell Destroy 1 face-down monster and remove it from play. If the monster is a Flip Effect Monster, both players check their respective Decks and remove all monsters of the same name from play. Then shuffle the Decks. (Common) Rating: 3 Read (SD8-EN018) Mystical Space Typhoon's comments for this card's comments. |
SD8-EN019 Spell Card Mystical Space Typhoon Quick-Play Spell Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. (Common) Rating: 3 Decent overall! |
SD8-EN018 Spell Card Card Destruction Normal Spell You and your opponent discard your entire hands and draw the same number of cards from your respective Decks that you discarded. (Common) Rating: 2 This card can be good if you have a bad hand while your opponent does not but let's face it, most of the time your opponent will still get the upper hand. |
SD8-EN017 Effect Monster Harpie's Pet Baby Dragon WIND | Dragon | Level 4 | ATK 1200 | DEF 600 This card accumulates effects according to the number of monsters on your side of the field that include "Harpie" in their names (other than "Harpie's Pet Baby Dragon" and "Harpie's Brother"). At least 1: While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot select monsters on your side of the field as attack targets if they include "Harpie" in their card names (other than "Harpie's Pet Baby Dragon" and "Harpie's Brother"). At least 2: Double the original ATK and DEF of this card. At least 3: Once per turn, you can destroy 1 card on your opponent's side of the field. (Common) Rating: 2 A 1200 ATK Monster that can become 2400 ATK when you have 3 "Harpie" Monsters out. Still, there are better cards than this. |
SD8-EN016 Effect Monster Swift Birdman Joe WIND | Winged Beast | Level 6 | ATK 2300 | DEF 1400 If you Tribute Summon this card by Tributing a WIND monster, return all Spell and Trap Cards on the field to the owners' hands. (Common) Rating: 1 He better be swift as even Roc can destroy him. Just don't bother using this and stick to Roc instead. |
SD8-EN015 Effect Monster Harpie Lady 3 WIND | Winged Beast | Level 4 | ATK 1300 | DEF 1400 This card's name is treated as "Harpie Lady". Your opponent's monster that battles with this card cannot declare an attack for your opponent's next 2 turns. (Common) Rating: 2 Again, go 2 cards back from this card for this card's comments. |
SD8-EN014 Effect Monster Harpie Lady 2 WIND | Winged Beast | Level 4 | ATK 1300 | DEF 1400 This card's name is treated as "Harpie Lady". Negate the effects of any Flip Effect Monsters that are destroyed by this monster as a result of battle. (Common) Rating: 2 See (SD8-EN013) HL1 for my comments on this. |
SD8-EN013 Effect Monster Harpie Lady 1 WIND | Winged Beast | Level 4 | ATK 1300 | DEF 1400 This card's name is treated as "Harpie Lady". As long as this card remains on the field, increase the ATK of all WIND monsters by 300 points. (Common) Rating: 2 She can't do too well by herself but with a little support, she can do okay but still not a "wow" card. |
SD8-EN012 Effect Monster Roc from the Valley of Haze WIND | Winged Beast | Level 6 | ATK 2400 | DEF 1400 When this card is sent directly from your hand to the Graveyard, add this card to the Deck and shuffle it. (Common) Rating: 3 2400 ATK makes this one of the best Monsters in this Deck but I can't say the same for its effect however. |
SD8-EN011 Effect Monster Lady Ninja Yae WIND | Warrior | Level 3 | ATK 1100 | DEF 200 By discarding 1 WIND monster from your hand to the Graveyard, return all Spell and Trap Cards on your opponent's side of the field to the owner's hand. (Common) Rating: 1 From the looks of it, I'd say that Yae is pronounced "Yay" as in "Yay, I can trade this for a better card or use it for a Proxy Card!" She can't survive in any Deck with her low stats. |
SD8-EN010 Effect Monster Silpheed WIND | Fairy | Level 4 | ATK 1700 | DEF 700 This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 1 WIND monster in your Graveyard. When this card is destroyed as a result of battle and sent to the Graveyard, your opponent discards 1 random card from their hand. (Common) Rating: 1 Don't waste your time and Deck space with the reject of a Monster. |
SD8-EN009 Effect Monster Birdface WIND | Winged Beast | Level 4 | ATK 1600 | DEF 1600 When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, you can add 1 "Harpie Lady" from your Deck to your hand. Then shuffle your Deck. (Common) Rating: 2 With stats of only (1600/1600), it won't be hard to destroy this bird in battle and its effect doesn't exactly help either. |
SD8-EN008 Effect Monster Bladefly WIND | Insect | Level 2 | ATK 600 | DEF 700 As long as this card remains face-up on the field, increase the ATK of all WIND monsters by 500 points and decrease the ATK of all EARTH monsters by 400 points. (Common) Rating: 2 This is the third of the "ancestors of Little Chimera" Monsters and like the rest he needs support or he cannot survive. |
SD8-EN007 Effect Monster Harpie Lady Sisters WIND | Winged Beast | Level 6 | ATK 1950 | DEF 2100 This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Elegant Egotist". (Common) Rating: 1 One of Mai Valentine's signature cards, though not too good overall. |
SD8-EN006 Effect Monster Flying Kamakiri #1 WIND | Insect | Level 4 | ATK 1400 | DEF 900 When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, you can Special Summon 1 WIND monster with an ATK of 1500 or less in face-up Attack Position from your Deck. Then shuffle your Deck. (Common) Rating: 1 With so few 1500 or less ATK WIND Monsters out there, there's very little use for this. |
SD8-EN005 Effect Monster Slate Warrior WIND | Fiend | Level 4 | ATK 1900 | DEF 400 FLIP: Increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 500 points. The ATK and DEF of a monster that destroys this card as a result of battle is decreased by 500 points. (Common) Rating: 4 1900 ATK is decent and if you can manage to keep him in Defense Mode for a turn and flip him, that's 2400 ATK on 4 stars! A nice card for Beatdown or Fiend Decks! |
SD8-EN004 Normal Monster Harpie Girl WIND | Winged Beast | Level 2 | ATK 500 | DEF 500 A Harpie chick who aspires to flit about beautifully and gorgeously, but attack sharply. (Common) Rating: 1 Stats of (500/500) don't get far at all with all the better Monsters out and about. |
SD8-EN003 Normal Monster Sonic Duck WIND | Winged Beast | Level 3 | ATK 1700 | DEF 700 A duck which can walk at a sonic speed. Sometimes, he cannot deal with his incredible pace and loses control. (Common) Rating: 2 It gets under Gravity Bind but that's about it. |
SD8-EN002 Effect Monster Sonic Shooter WIND | Winged Beast | Level 4 | ATK 1300 | DEF 600 If there are no cards in your opponent's Spell & Trap Card Zones, this card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. When it does, any Battle Damage this card inflicts to your opponent's Life Points becomes the original ATK of this card. (Common) Rating: 2 This card is certainly better than Simorgh that's for sure. Plus, use Heavy Storm and it can attack directly and requires no Tributes! Still, without support, he will be destroyed. |
SD8-EN001 Effect Monster Simorgh, Bird of Divinity WIND | Winged Beast | Level 7 | ATK 2700 | DEF 1000 This card cannot be Special Summoned. If you Tribute Summon this card, the Tributes must be WIND. While this card is face-up on the field, both players take 1000 points of damage during each player's End Phase. Decrease the damage each player takes when this happens by 500 points for each Spell and Trap Card that player controls. (Ultra Rare) Rating: 1 Not much of a bird with only 2700 ATK. Plus, his effect only makes him less playable. |
