2018 Mega Tins
CT15-EN001
Card Type: Fusion Monster
Card Info Elemental HERO Nebula Neos
EARTH / Warrior-Type Fusion / Level 9 / ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
"Elemental HERO Neos" + "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole" + "Neo-Spacian Dark Panther"
Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards you control into the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization".) If this card is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: Draw cards equal to the number of cards your opponent controls, then negate the effects of 1 face-up card on the field until the end of this turn. Once per turn, during the End Phase: Shuffle this card into the Extra Deck, and if you do, banish all cards on the field face-down.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: It's pretty powerful as you'll probably draw plenty of extra cards once it hits the field and even if its attack isn't succesful, you'll wipe the board clean once he leaves, which has its perks.
Legendary Collection Kaiba
LC06-EN005
Card Type: Fusion Monster
Card Info Destruction Dragon
FIRE / Dragon-Type Fusion / Level 8 / ATK 2000 / DEF 3000
Must be Special Summoned with "The Fang of Critias", using "Ring of Destruction". Once per turn: You can target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy it. Then, if it was a Monster Card, inflict damage to your opponent equal to its original ATK.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: This card wouldn't be playable if Ring of Destruction was still banned (it's at 1 all around as of this writing), even with its good effect but since Ring is allowed in tournaments again, this card will be usable until Ring is either errata'd again to become useless or is banned again.
LC06-EN004
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Dragon Revival Rhapsody
Normal Spell
If you control a Spellcaster monster: You can target up to 2 Dragon monsters in your GY, including at least 1 Normal Monster; Special Summon them. Your opponent takes no damage this turn. You can only activate 1 “Dragon Revival Rhapsody” per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Being required to control a Spellcaster-Type monster is a real downer because that means you basically need your Deck to be a mixture of Spellcasters and Dragons to have the best chance at using this. Even when you do, you can't use it unless you have a Dragon-Type Normal Monster to revive and your opponent is safe from damage that turn.
LC06-EN003
Card Type: Trap Card
Card Info Loop of Destruction
Continuous Trap
This card's name becomes "Ring of Destruction" while on the field. Once per turn, if a monster(s) on the field is destroyed by a card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 monster on the field; destroy it, and if you do, each player takes 500 damage.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Even with its erratum, Ring of Destruction is still leagues above this card given that there's much less risk of it being destroyed and it deals way more damage, even if you take that amount first.
LC06-EN002
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info The King of D.
DARK / Spellcaster / Level 4 / ATK 1200 / DEF 1100
This card’s name becomes “Lord of D.” while on the field. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can discard 1 Spell/Trap; add 1 “The Flute of Summoning Dragon”, “The Melody of Awakening Dragon”, or “Dragon Revival Rhapsody” from your Deck to your hand.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Of the options to grab, The Melody of Awakening Dragon is best but that still costs you a Spell/Trap from your hand and you can only get anything if it's Normal Summoned. Other than that, it doesn't do you any good.
LC06-EN001
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Goddess of Sweet Revenge
LIGHT / Fairy / Level 6 / ATK 1800 / DEF 2000
While you control no cards and this is the only card in your hand, when an opponent’s monster declares an attack: You can discard this card; destroy as many cards as possible your opponent controls, then you can Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It'd live up to its name but its effect is quite risky because it waits until your field is empty, your hand is nearly empty and your LP is being threatened. Still, you get to Special Summon any monster from your Deck and clear your opponent's field too. Either way, it's still an improvement over Gyakatenno Megami.
Shonen Jump
JUMP-EN084
Card Type: Link Monster
Active Link Arrows: Top, Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right
Card Info Summon Sorceress
DARK / Spellcaster-Type Link / ATK 2400 / Link-3
2+ monsters with the same Type, except Tokens
If this card is Link Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 monster from your hand in Defense Position, to your opponent's zone this card points to. You can target 1 face-up monster this card points to; Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck, with the same Type as that monster, to a zone this card points to, but negate its effects. You can only use this effect of "Summon Sorceress" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It's at least relatively easy to Summon but using the 1st effect is highly not recommended because you're giving your opponent a free monster that they can do what they want with next turn and this also adds to their defenses against you. The other effect is atleast somewhat worthwhile but is best in Decks around one Monster Card Type.
ARC-V Manga Volume 3
YA03-EN001
Card Info D/D/D Destiny King Zero Laplace
DARK / Fiend-Type Pendulum / Level 10 / ATK ? / DEF 0 / Scale 1
During your Main Phase: You can add 1 face-up "D/D/D" Pendulum Monster from your Extra Deck to your hand, except "D/D/D Destiny King Zero Laplace". You can only use this effect of "D/D/D Destiny King Zero Laplace" once per turn.

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "D/D/D" monster. Before damage calculation, if this card battles an opponent's monster: You can activate this effect; this card's ATK becomes double that opponent's monster's original ATK until the end of the Damage Step. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. The first time this card would be destroyed by battle each turn, it is not destroyed, also you take no battle damage from that battle.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: No side-effects for a Scale 1 Pendulum Monster but that undefined ATK and 0 DEF will be crucial in its demise because while it can be strong, it only stays that way if it battles a monster, making it useless for direct attacks. Plus that 0 DEF can be taken advantage of by forcing the monster to Defense Mode and rendering its effects pretty much moot.
Shonen Jump
JUMP-EN083
Card Type: Link Monster
Active Link Arrows: Right and Bottom-Left
Card Info Trickstar Crimson Heart
LIGHT / Fairy-Type Link / ATK 2000 / Link-2
2 "Trickstar" monsters
Each time a "Trickstar" monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned to a zone(s) this card points to, gain 200 LP. You can discard 1 "Trickstar" card; both players draw 1 card, but if your LP was at least 2000 higher than your opponent's when this effect was activated, you draw 2 cards instead. You can only use this effect of "Trickstar Crimson Heart" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: In a LP Gain Deck, you're bound to meet this card's requirements and thus draw double the cards your opponent does. However, it costs you a Trickstar card from your hand so you're really not drawing any more cards than your opponent. Her ATK and required Link Materials aren't all that bad but not great either.
JUMP-EN082
Card Type: Link Monster
Active Link Arrows: Bottom
Card Info Linkuriboh
DARK / Cyberse-Type Link / ATK 300 / Link-1
1 Level 1 monster
When an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can Tribute this card; change that opponent's monster's ATK to 0, until the end of this turn. If this card is in your GY (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 Level 1 monster; Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of "Linkuriboh" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: The only good thing about it is that it needs only 1 monster but it has to be a Level 1 monster. Plus, the effects and its ATK aren't all that great either.
ARC-V Manga Volume 2
YA02-EN001
Card Info Clear Wing Fast Dragon
WIND / Dragon, Synchro and Pendulum / Level 7 / ATK 2500 / DEF 2000 / Scale 4
You can send 1 face-up "Speedroid" Tuner and 1 face-up non-Tuner monster you control to the Graveyard, whose total Levels equal 7; Special Summon this card from your Pendulum Zone. You can only use this effect of "Clear Wing Fast Dragon" once per turn.

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner WIND monsters
During either player's turn: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck; until the end of this turn, change its ATK to 0, also that face-up monster has its effects negated. You can only use this effect of "Clear Wing Fast Dragon" once per turn. If this card in the Monster Zone is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can place this card in your Pendulum Zone.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: The Monster Text effect is perhaps the best of the two possible effects as most monsters that are Special Summoned these days come from the Extra Deck and I'm sure you won't be intending on letting the affected monster stay long enough to regain its ATK. The other effect wastes resources for the same thing you can do with Pendulum Switch. Its stats and Scale aren't much better.
Championship Series 2017
YCSW-EN010
Card Type: Xyz Monster
Card Info Number 89: Diablosis the Mind Hacker
DARK / Psychic-Type Xyz / Rank 7 / ATK 2800 / DEF 1200
2 Level 7 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; look at your opponent's Extra Deck and banish 1 monster from it, face-down. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card destroyed a monster by battle: You can target 1 card in your opponent's GY; banish it, face-down. If a card your opponent owns and possesses is banished face-down while you control this card (except during the Damage Step): You can banish cards from the top of your opponent's Deck, face-down, equal to their face-down banished cards. You can only use this effect of "Number 89: Diablosis the Mind Hacker" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Only the first effect requires you to detach an Xyz Material and with only 2 to start, that's a good thing. Plus it doesn't cost you anything else to use any of the effects. Still, the three effects aren't very game-breaking.
2017 Mega Tins
CT14-EN009
Card Type: Fusion Monster
Card Info Elder Entity N'tss
LIGHT / Fairy-Type Fusion / Level 4 / ATK 2500 / DEF 1200
1 Synchro Monster + 1 Xyz Monster
Must be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending the above cards you control to the GY. (You do not use "Polymerization".) Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 monster from your hand. If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy it. You can only Special Summon "Elder Entity N'tss(s)" once per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Can't even Instant Fusion it thanks to its first line of effect text and even if you factor in the effects, there are better cards that don't require as much effort.
CT14-EN008
Card Type: Xyz Monster
Card Info Number 68: Sanaphond the Sky Prison
DARK / Rock-Type Xyz / Rank 8 / ATK 2100 / DEF 2700
2 Level 8 monsters
Gains 100 ATK and DEF for each monster in the GYs. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; until the end of your opponent's turn, this card cannot be destroyed by card effects, also neither player can Special Summon monsters from the GYs.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: A card surprisingly not released in Battles of Legend: Light's Revenge but it doesn't do much good wherever it's released because only the 2nd effect is worthwhile.
CT14-EN006
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Dreamland
Field Spell
This card can activate these effects depending on the monster card types on the field.
● Fusion: Once per turn, if a monster(s) is sent from your hand or field to the GY by a card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can draw 1 card.
● Synchro: When a monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned (except during the Damage Step): You can increase their Levels by 1.
● Xyz: Once per turn, during your End Phase: Destroy the monster(s) on the field with the highest Level.
You can only activate 1 "Dreamland" per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: You don't necessarily have to be the one to control the monsters in the bulleted effects but they aren't so easily triggered, even in today's metagame.
CT14-EN005
Card Type: Xyz Monster
Card Info Number 71: Rebarian Shark
WATER / Dragon-Type Xyz / Rank 3 / ATK 0 / DEF 2000
2 Level 3 monsters
Once per turn: You can target 1 "Number" Xyz Monster in your GY, except "Number 71: Rebarian Shark"; Special Summon it, and if you do, attach 1 material from this card to it. If this card is sent to the GY: You can choose 1 "Rank-Up-Magic" Spell from your Deck and place it on top of your Deck.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It gives up its Xyz Materials so that your new Xyz Monster gets one for its benefit but that doesn't leave itself much to worth with for your efforts.
CT14-EN003
Card Type: Link Monster
Active Link Arrows: Left and Right
Card Info Proxy Dragon
LIGHT / Cyberse-Type Link / ATK 1400 / Link-2
2 monsters
If a card(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can destroy 1 of your monsters this card points to, instead.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Not very strong but is pretty easy to bring out and can protect one card with another but only one that it points to, which doesn't leave it much of a protecting ability.
Shonen Jump
JUMP-EN081
Card Type: Xyz Monster
Card Info Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon
LIGHT / Dragon-Type Xyz / Rank 9 / ATK 3200 / DEF 2800
3 Level 9 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 8 "Galaxy-Eyes" Xyz Monster you control as material. (Transfer its materials to this card.) Cannot be used as material for an Xyz Summon. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it. If this Xyz Summoned card you control, is destroyed by battle with an opponent's attacking monster, or destroyed by an opponent's card effect, and sent to your GY: You can target 1 "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon" in your GY; Special Summon it.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Well it seems the new changes hinted with Starter Deck: Link Strike's proxy images are coming to pass because Cipher Blade Dragon has them too but all the shortened terms in the world cannot fix a card as mediocre as this one, given that this guy cannot be Xyz Material and only revives Cipher Dragon from your Graveyard once destroyed.
JUMP-EN080
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Apprentice Illusion Magician
DARK / Spellcaster / Level 6 / ATK 2000 / DEF 1700
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by discarding 1 card. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Dark Magician" from your Deck to your hand. During damage calculation (in either player's turn), if your other DARK Spellcaster-Type monster battles an opponent's monster: You can send this card from your hand or face-up from your field to the Graveyard; that monster you control gains 2000 ATK and DEF during that damage calculation only.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: An ancient Egypt version of Dark Magician Girl given its properties but its effects aren't that great as a whole.
ARC-V Manga Volume 1
YA03-EN001
Card Info Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon
DARK / Dragon-Type Pendulum / Level 7 / ATK 2500 / DEF 2000 / Scale 4
Once per turn, when an attack is declared involving a face-up monster you control and an opponent's monster, if you have an "Odd-Eyes" card in your other Pendulum Zone: You can make that monster you control gain 1200 ATK until the end of the Battle Phase (even if this card leaves the field).
When this Pendulum Summoned card inflicts battle damage to your opponent by attacking: You can inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of "Odd-Eyes" cards in your Pendulum Zones x 1200. You can only use this effect of "Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It can give a monster a pretty decent boost or deal a fair bit amount of damage but both effects require Odd-Eyes monsters in your Pendulum Zones and this guy isn't any stronger than the original Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, nor does it have a higher/lower scale than that monster.
